Speedrace and whiteflame are just unfortunately very hard to read and it couldn't hurt to get a claim from them early on, especially given Speedrace's little activity on DP1. I could see him swooping in on DP2 as scum and being like "Hey guys I'm here - now let me just take over the game now that I'm around" but unless we're going for role claims right off the bat (and I don't think we are), it could be useless to pressure these two since scum has a pool of fake character claims. With about ~26 hours left in the DP I'd say let's get a full claim from oromagi, Barney or both for now. VTL oromagi.
I’d prefer WF over Oro just because he’s harder to read. Oro is null for me tho so I would be fine with getting his claim along with Barney/Ragnar

That was explained literally in the same post when I moved you to the bottom. You had claimed to be VTLing me to put pressure on me, but being stupidly stealthy about it (not tagging me). While it's a common mistake, I was modifying dashboard anyways.
So he’s scum reading me for making a mistake…
I’ve VTLed a bunch of people in the past without tagging them. Hell, a lot of people have done it this game. Interestingly, he only had a problem when I do it. It’s scummy if I do it him, but when someone else does it to someone else it’s not scummy.

You’re assuming GP is my teammate. I’m not defending him at all. He’s null on my list. I just pointed out (like you did) that him claiming his role after isn’t affiliation indicative.
Has Barney ever been this certain in a scumread before? I don't remember him being this convinced and assertive before.

I previously moved him and Pie to the bottom of town.This morning they've just now fully convinced me they're a scum team (Pie wanting to lynch me for putting the slightest pressure on GP).
2nd post and still no reason why I was at the bottom of the list early in the game. As a townie, if you have scum reads, you say them and pursue them. Barney has done neither. He has asked a question to GP and didn’t follow up on it till I pointed it out. Me he’s straight up just OMGUS. No mention of why I was scummy earlier in the game. And me wanting to lynch him for pressuring GP is just straight up false.
This is what I said: “Barney - Lean Scum - Dude’s a moderator and is inactive. He’s obviously lurking. The only contributory thing he’s done is the dashboard, but that’s all he does. He asked a question to GP. Idr if GP answered, but if he hasn’t, why hasn’t Barney followed up on it. It seems like an attempt to be scum hunting but not really.”
Not only that but he admits he hasn’t followed up on GP, cause he asked him to answer the question again.

Been a busy day for me, and it's late, so I may have missed a bit in my skimming's. That said, my scum reads on Pie and GP have strengthened; particularly for Pie claiming I was online when I was not ("He’s obviously lurking").
So you scumread me before but didn’t explain why?
Anyone other than Pie see the little green online icon under my name at any point today? I was too busy to check the site today (save for a few minutes in the morning).

Not a Football nut, so someone will have to tell me what this means. I predict the theme is something like Teams that never made it to the Superbowl (Mafia) vs everyone else.
In that case, there would only be 1-2 bad fake claims assuming 3-2 mafia respectively. Possible, but in my opinion, probably not.

Pie - Confirmed Town
SirAnon - Lean Town - Mostly a gut read. I like the activity and questioning. Seems like a genuine effort to scum hunt. I think last time he was caught as scum because of a character
Speed - Null - I don’t see many posts from him. He’s one of the better players, so it’s rather odd that he isn’t pointing things out more. His only real contribution imo is his reads list, tho it’s pretty vague.
Greyparrot - Null - I don’t think his role claim coming after character is affiliation indicative. He’s done it in the past and was town.
Barney - Lean Scum - Dude’s a moderator and is inactive. He’s obviously lurking. The only contributory thing he’s done is the dashboard, but that’s all he does. He asked a question to GP. Idr if GP answered, but if he hasn’t, why hasn’t Barney followed up on it. It seems like an attempt to be scum hunting but not really.
Oromagi - Null - I don’t like the fact that he was lurking at the beginning. Since then though he’s been himself. Going for the dashboard and figuring out possible themes. The two sides cancel to be null.
Whiteflame - Tilt Scum - I don’t like the fact that at the beginning, WF said: “Pie is engaging in some light scum hunting and giving some reasonable reads.” The only read I had provided was Oro being inactive and hating being scum. Not really a read tbh. His pursuance of GP also doesn’t make sense. He’s been in games where GP has role claimed after he’s character claimed. It’s not affiliation indicative. Or all of this is overthinking and I can’t read WF to save my life lol
Badger - Lean Town - He’s being himself. Sticking to his guns and not really moving. Once in a while he chimes in with a town read. I also haven’t seen him play as scum yet, so I wouldn’t know the difference. But as of now, everything is similar to his town game.
That2User - Lean Town - The aggressiveness is the biggest read. I think I called her out in a previous game for this aggressiveness, but she was town. Still seems like it. As scum, I think she’s a bit more laid back and not as responsive, if I remember correctly.
Earth - Null - Not posted enough. Doesn’t seem like his scum play from when I got him in that one game, but hard to tell with so little posts.
Danielle - Null - She’s been relatively inactive. I also have a hard time reading her cause I got burned in that one game where she was scum. Probably gonna have to wait for results or theme analysis.
Chris - Tilt Town - There’s been some fluff here and then, but he’s been providing reads pretty often, changing them when new information comes out. He’s also focused on the behavioral aspect of things, which is nice imo.

I don't think conference/division is going to help us at all.
I disagree. People are locked in now. I want to start getting claims from the two divisions with 3 people in them. Possibly even get full claims from one person we all agree on from each division, based on behavior, character, etc.

I think it's strange that MisterChris is allegedly having such a hard time finding out what division his team is in. He asked a question about it, Pie answered, Chris acknowledged it and then he made a post without answering before signing off. He's the only one we're waiting for and Pie said his pressure hinges on Chris' answer, so why would he not just provide it? Weird.

If Chris is mafia, he would have every incentive to not claim one of these divisions because you've already said you'd be willing to lynch others if he doesn't. And if he does claim one of these divisions (as town or scum) that makes your post pretty useless since you would have to go back to the drawing board entirely. So why bother singling us out at all?
Not necessarily. My theory still works, it just depends on what characters are. I’m willing to pressure anyone from NFC West and AFC South for claims.
Lynching based on a completely theorized guess about theme on DP1 with no discussion or information about flips is pretty dumb.
Who do you want to lynch? I’m just laying out my thought process.
I agree with Speedrace that theme analysis is often pointless. But I think it could be interesting for DP1 discussion here now that we're all locked into divisions and have to pick people to pressure. What do you guess the theme is?
