I was literally the first person to soft something about my character, so you can argue that I already had a claim locked in from the mod, or you can argue that I took caseys, but you can't argue both.

The other side of the coin is that I am actually being honest about my character. It's ironic that the one game I barely volunteer information about my role is the one where its used against me the most as a scum tell for offering the very little in which I did (Mikal) and also a point of hurt because if I had claimed my show early on this wouldn't even be an argument from pie. I have arguments pointed at me that say im scummy either way, and it really makes no sense!

My read on wylted was null because he really didn't contribute much, but it might as well have been a scum tell because other than mikal and a light read on austin and wwhiteflame I had basically everyone else as town at the time.

And I specifically pointed out him calling out characters in my read, I did that specifically because he was calling out fear factor. I wasn't around at the end of the day phase to press him so its hardly fair to use that against me. Wylted was in my POE before most people were really considering him.

Also the point about caseys hint is really such a bad argument, I have already pointed out there are several other hosts that casey could have been talking about. Drew Carrie (Moozers show), Steve Harvey (Austins show), Howie Mendel (Savants show), and Bob Barker (Mharmans show) all are people I think are widely considered big recognizable celebrity names. I don't know why you are hyper focused on mine being the only one that fits that category.

I’ve claimed 3/3, actually - the reward this DP is a watcher/tracker, so it’s 2 roles rolled into one. I still think it’s a baffling take.

I didn’t say she’s lock town. I said I’m townreading her for being the only person whose visit I can verify. She absolutely could be scum and still have visited him, but it’s a factor from where I’m sitting.

If there’s reason to push her based on the Joe Rogan link, fine. It’s not something I’ve really considered strongly, and I’ll leave that up to you guys to discuss. If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been a bit distracted this DP.

Her read on WyIted was part of the reason I targeted her in the first place, since Mharman was sussing him, but I don’t think it outweighs the result. Having a bad call on WyIted is a factor, but not a given to be scummy.

Result. She went to the target she said she visited. Maybe she’s using that to get townread, but it’s one of the few pieces of info I have on another player that’s verified.

That’s not what I said at all. I said that the reasoning you and others are using for lynching me have focused in part (or in some cases to a large extent) on me making an absolutely idiotic decision to claim the way I did as scum. The point isn’t that people shouldn’t lynch sus claims, it’s that I’m shocked so many people are buying into any of these narratives regarding what led me to do this. How many times have you or others repeated that you’ve been sussing me because I might have used a fake claim offered by Luna, only to basically discard the fact that I would have access to such a claim and believe that I’ve discarded it to claim something Luna himself effectively CC’d to everyone? I sincerely cannot imagine what mentality I’d have to be in to ignore the trivia rewards (or somehow bank on them supporting me) and just wing it with my own claim.

I gave my reads already. I scumread Mharman. I townread Banana, especially given my result. I don’t have any other scumreads currently. Given that DP has mostly been focused on Banana and me, and everyone seems relatively agreed on the reasoning for it, nothing has meaningfully changed.

Just landed. I don’t see what’s hard to understand here. Every defense of myself has been scumread. Explaining ad nauseum why it would be ridiculous for me to make this claim as scummy has become an exercise that reminds me of nothing so much as Whack-A-Mole, where people (yourself included) keep moving from “it’s your actual claim” to “it’s just a bad fake role claim” to “it’s your fake role claim,” all of which I’ve pointed out are absurd for a variety of reasons. Every attempt I’ve made to explain my reads and put pressure elsewhere, even when I wasn’t the focus of everyone’s attention back in DP1, was sussed. I get that because I would have sussed someone who kept trying to push attention off of themselves.

Are we good with having Austin use his role now or do we need to do anything else?

No way does an Earth/Moozer scum team tie themselves together like that this early.

Also whiteflame has to be town. He was scum reading me last day phase, it makes no sense for him to suddenly just come out and confirm my results like that if he was mafia. I really don't advise we lynch him.

I just submitted day cop, because I don't know many roles. I've never seen or even heard of a sensor.

Also, would like some thoughts on how I should use my role, if ever. 

As a reminder, it's a gladiator where thread locks, me and the person I challenge have to answer a survey question, and whoever gets an answer closer to what the majority of the other people pick wins the match and the other gets lynched.

So there's no way to guarantee who wins the match, but it's also a neat emergency button in case things really go sideways and we're willing to gamble the game on hitting scum by chance.

See, this is exactly what I'm talking about. I know I'm town, I townread Moozer for a variety of reasons, and it feels like Mharman is trying to lynch me, act shocked when I flip town, then say, "see, this must mean Moozer is scum". Then all of a sudden if Moozer is town then we're in LYLO and then Mharman can move straight to blaming Lunatic for being a bastard mod or something when Luna literally said not to read into the CC. If we genuinely caught scum that way, Luna interfering and stopping us from doing that would be true bastard modding.

So yeah, feels just like lining up mislynches and distracting from the consensus POE which he's conveniently in.

That’s what I’m saying.  I think the game was in trouble of being over and he didn’t want a cheese and wanted to put it back to right 

You looked at Casey's soft claim. Is it possible WF's wheel of fortune claim or Mharman's claim or banana's claim was stolen from Casey?

I had an earlier theory that the theme split is dating game shows vs. all else btw. It wouldn’t make sense for a fake claim to be aligned with scum’s side of the theme split.

But if you ask me, Austin should be our lynch. I just townread Moozer a tad bit more. It sounds crazy given some of the weird things Moozer has said (his response to me about my “baiting him to reveal he’s talking on discord,” the Freudian slip Pie alleged from last DP) but Moozer says weird stuff like that all the time, furthermore, he had the chance to back out of the CC but didn’t.

@whiteflame - the way I interpret this is you used the character claim and had to come up with a role that made sense. So yeah JOAT again wildly after last game is wild. But he is giving out items, you get three items, I have an item, and didn’t he also say the game is unpowered overall?

If you flip scum then it tells us if the fake claim was used. If you flip town , it validates what banana said and you likely to be left alive regardless because everyone is scum reading you

Now that I think about it, I do wonder if a teammate came up with a plan to have Moozer CC Austin to get him lynched, but I gotta think: Austin looked like he would be setting up for it, and any teammate of Moozer’s  would know he’d probably get lynched without getting Austin mislynched first if he did that

Alr a Moozer lynch is an information treasure trove.

Tells me he’s fine with me having it and then backpedals when I say I have a good way to use it. It’s comical. 

Why would we lynch Mikal if he tells us everything tomorrow and he's telling the truth?

And I like wf less than ana but regardless of his flip flip we get info

And if not I have a backup plan that you will notice if I die. 

I can’t say it until tomorrow because I don’t want to get fucked over but I will say a premise of this is I want Austin to use his role to end the dp on wf
