joe was polling good in future states beyond the first few states. joe fared better with conservatives too. just because he wasn't doing good in the polls early on doesn't prove anything... a poll based on plurality voting and an approval rating are completely different, and i think joe had better approval ratings across all demographics.
It actually does. Joe like Hillary had his base of support in the South which is going to go to the GOP. Bernie Sanders had a wider coalition. Joe only did well with black voters which are mainly in the South. Coincidentally that’s the populace that is the most Democratic. The Bernie coalition was wide. Joe’s wasn’t. Trump won because he was a better candidate and the GOP establishment didn’t rig it. Joe won even though he was a garbage candidate because the DNC rigged it.

You'll be happy to know that I'm registered to vote in California where it's nigh impossible for my vote to make any difference. That, and my ballot never showed up in the mail. So, I'm probably not voting at all.

Sure. Any poll you look at at. 70-80 percent of Trump supporters are voting for Trump cause they like him. That number is 30-45 tops for Joe. The rest are just votes against Joe. The primary system was designed so every candidate has a fair shot at winning. The DNC made a corrupt bargain with the others to drop out just to help Joe cause they knew he alone couldn’t win it like Trump did cause no one likes him.

joe won because he was the consensus candidate, the guy most people liked. yes the DNC convinced the losing moderates to drop out, so they could prevent sanders from winning. but if sanders won, that would only be a testament to the stupid aspects of plurality voting, where the biggest minority wins, not the most popular candidate.all this 'the election is rigged' stuff is what stupid people say. yes there were politics involved, but biden was still the most popular candidate and more importantly he got the most votes.so it's retarded to say the election was rigged. that's what brainwashed people say.
Biden was not the most popular candidate. He literally came 5th in Iowa and like third in New Hampshire. Pete beat him in both. Joe was on life support till the DNC came over. No one likes Joe. Democrats don’t like Joe. They’re voting for him cause he isn’t Trump.

Well, that was 2016. Yeah, there was a lot of BS going on in 2016, but at the end of the day Clinton got 4+ million more votes than Sanders, and in 2020 the lead over Sanders was ~9 million. So, whatever shenanigans were going on didn't seem to be dispositive.
Joe didn’t win cause he was a good candidate. Joe won because the DNC wanted him. Hillary was to an extent a good candidate for Democrats. The DNC pulled some strings to allow Joe to win.

I personally think the 17th Amendment was a disaster. Does it make it more democratic? Sure. Did it solve the problem it was created to cause? Nope. Is gerrymandering undemocratic? Sure. Is it unconstitutional? Nope because the states have the powers to draw lines as they see fit. The federal government has nothing to do with it unless it’s a racial gerrymander. The state courts are a different story. If you want to end gerrymandering, maybe you should take the high ground first before lecturing me.

My opinion doesn’t matter. All I care about is whether it’s constitutional or not. I have no preference as to whether it’s good or bad because it has been done since the late 1700s. Both parties engage in it.

My life is super boring. But this one time we were in Oklahoma next to a river and we were kinda hiking. There was this slanted path to the other side which I crossed the first time. Keep in mind there’s no barrier on either side and the best thing you can hold on to are the tree roots coming out from the sides. So on my way back, I slip, I try to grab a couple of tree roots but they came apart. Luckily I grabbed like a branch nearby. There was like 7 foot drop on some rocks below right next to the river. I got saved cause there were two people with me that pulled me up. Needless to say I’m not trusting tree roots again
