Donald Trump, who was born into a wealthy family with a thriving business had a much better chance of becoming a billionaire than someone like me, who grew up in a nice suburb. Someone like me in turn has a much higher chance than someone born into the projects. That doesn't discount the work Donald Trump did to build his business but to imply that it's anywhere near as impressive as an actual rags to riches story is asinine. Socioeconomic status is pretty sticky between generations due to nature, nurture, and inheritance.

What do you mean? Are you confusing the trade deficit for the budget deficit? They are two different things.

The fact of the matter is that the deficit is never going to get under control without cuts to entitlement spending or tax increased. Even the military budget is not nearly as large a portion of our total spend as people think (and interest payments are over 50% of the military budget.) You yourself admit there won't be entitlement cuts, so where does that leave us?

You don't get it. We have no idea what their roles are, they probably get NK for two pair only, for instance and the superpowers for more luck are likely to be defensive in some way (such as appearing innocent on reports vs what miller can do).

Well, then again, neither have you. In fact, I'm not shadowing, just choosing to believe something, and backing up with evidence. You on the other hand, back up with little to no evidence whatsoever. I have a theory. Assuming Crocodile is scum, with obvious scumtells, this leads me to believe that Speed is also scum. I haven't played with him a lot, but he posted much more in defending Crocodile than contributing to town. Most of what he posted was actually not very helpful, just interpreting what was said in the rules.

what a ridiculous suggestion. A kill by town at night requires an extremely rare hand that's very unlikely given the flop.

I'd rehab the drug users but the drug sellers would be small in number so jailing them would be feasible.

The way we prevent it is by rehabbing all the non violent drug users, so it leaves the drug cartels powerless since anyone they try to get addicted to their drugs would get rehabbed instead of jailed.

What does that even mean? They won’t have a choice.  That’s the point of taxes.

The punishment for selling drugs without a license should be life in jail without parole, so they aren't getting released if they sell drugs without a permit on American soil.

If they commit a crime in the US, then they get tried for that crime as if they did it in the US.

The people coming here are fleeing the gangs.  I live in a sanctuary state, and the undocumented immigrants aren't destroying the economy.  What we should do with the gangs is jail them for selling drugs without a license, and rehab them if they are using bad drugs recreationaly.

VTNL is a valid DP 1 option this game due to the chance of the kill being controlled by a townie.

I don't think that is accurate.  When the US had practically open borders with war filled Europe in the early 20th century, we didn't get war in the US.  The people fled the war; they hated war and they didn't want to bring that war here.  I think the same would apply to Latin American immigrants.

The only way that could happen is if you get miller, and Bullish specifically said (in post 17) that it’s impossible to get a miller role this NP.

The problem with town preemptively agreeing on an NK is that it essentially tells mafia who they should lynch. This would completely remove any info we could get from the NK, since both town and mafia would NK the same person.
