Especially given his lack of posting and his having hopped online at least twice by my count over the last 24 hours, I'd agree with you that a full claim is warranted. That being said, I also understand why Earth would push back on stalling while we wait for Moozer to post and would want to at least put attention into something that would yield information. If you want to wait, it's mainly a matter of how long.
I think 3 claims for today is more than enough. I’m fine with that being Owen, Moozer, and Earth. I think we set a hard deadline for tomorrow at noon for Moozer to claim. If he doesn’t do it by then, we get Owen’s and assuming his claim is sufficient, then wait for Moozer’s. If he never shows up, we lynch Moozer.

Under no circumstances should anyone be pushing to lynch this early in the DP with the legacy roles in play. No one has 25 posts at this point, so no matter how scummy someone is, we should resist efforts to push for a rapid lynch at the very least until a good portion of active users have posted enough to use them.
I agree, so far I’m probably the only one that has reached 25.

While we're on the subject of activity, what are people's thoughts on getting some softclaims? I don't pretend to know what the theme split will be, but the split could be between different types of incidents (e.g. specific reasons for a given crash are scum while others are town, whether the black box was recovered, where they went down) or it could be differing results of air accident investigations (e.g. known vs. unknown causes). This seems like a theme we could interrogate a bit, so it might be worth getting softclaims to narrow the window on these. I'd be happy to go first, regardless of the choice, but I'd like to invite discussion over this.

I am Uberlingen Disaster and I am the Miller. Due to a number of factors including an ATC who made a poor decision, there was a midair crash. A few years after the crash, the ATC was tracked down and killed by a relative of some of the victims despite the fact that there were other causes besides the ATC.

For example your criticism of my claim all came from google research. If any of that is wrong I blame the internet and not being savvy enough with Indian politics to know the nuances and I’m guessing alot of that was the same for town. It’s a very niche theme and one that isn’t the most exciting imo to do research on.
I think if I’m giving you 2 fake role claims and character claims, the internet isn’t a valid excuse. It’s your job as scum to make sure your PM justification is without flaws if I’m giving most of it to you.

I am really disappointed in Town. I understand how Banana could be misguided, but Earth, Owen, and Casey are pretty experienced players at this stage. I designed this game with the intention of showing that role confirmation =/= affiliation confirmation, yet there are certain roles which are heavily likely to be town. Kingmaker is one such role because giving it to scum would basically give them a free lynch, which makes no sense unless Town has some type of counter to it. Lunatic was literally taunting town by pointing out that he shouldn’t even be confirmed, but yall did it anyways.
I am really disappointed in JoeBob. Pro Tip: keep your mouth shut instead of asking stupid questions like why do reads matter. You know better than that. You burned Town’s main investigative role with that stunt and severely harmed Town’s chances in that process. Really disappointing.
Town should have won this game if it focused on the things that mattered and weren’t lazy. Moozer should have been lynched as soon as he claimed for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, as Whiteflame pointed out, he lied about being in the Lok Sabha vs Rajya Sabha. At this point, you guys should know, I’m detailed enough to not make that mistake, especially in a game I created. Second, a simple Google search shows that Mansukhbhai Mansaviya is in the Lok Sabha as of June 2024. So either Moozer is a moron or you think I’m a moron. For this you had to think Moozer is a moron. Now the second point. Moozer’s justification was that he was the Minister of Health. Again, a simple Google search show’s that he used to be the Minister of Health.
A) Why would I make someone a Doctor based on his past role.
B) The current Minister of Health is JP Nadda, who is literally a top level BJP politician and far more known than Mandaviya.
Extremely disappointed that no one in town put in the effort to analyze theme and justification. Especially justification.
No one asked why Lunatic was the Messenger. There was literally no connection to Messenger, and he lied about being in the People’s Party (again, simple Google search). Lunatic is no idiot, and I’m not an idiot either. Shameful that there was no analysis about this.
Banana was so obviously noob town. Owen had a confirmable role with the Enchantress. What other role can give a crystal ball to people. I will wait for that answer. Casey has a confirmable role that doesn’t make sense for scum. I also didn’t see any analysis into what Whiteflame could be. Zero analysis into whether scum could’ve waived the NK. Also how the hell is Moozer given a free pass for stating that he waived NP2, which is coincidentally when Whiteflame died. Town should be ashamed of themselves. This was easily winnable on just PM Analysis itself. Mafia used their roles and town’s idiocy to it’s advantage.
The theme split was famous politicians from Maharashtra vs everyone else. I thought the balance was really fair because Mafia were underpowered and Town was somewhat underpowered as well, though they had a lot of confirmable roles. Anyways, I hope each and everyone of you has learned a thing or two from this game, though I doubt the people who need to read this will. On to the next one.
