I don’t know if I have stated it here, but if I haven’t, now I have.
The concept of sandwich should be interpreted abstractly. It should refer to anything in which one edible ingredient encases at least 180 degrees radially another edible ingredient. In this case, a hot dog, a tortilla taco, they all count as sandwiches. This is the expanded definition. Pasting PB&J on one slice of bread at one side also counts, as some sandwiches are topographically exactly the same. In fact, that is what a hot dog is, only with a much shallower trough and a substitute for a hot dog, albeit extremely different in taste. This also enables pizzas and pies to be sandwiches but if a hot dog is one, they are.
But if you consider pizzas and hot dogs non-sandwiches, we can define x as a continuous variable(but in intervals) where the encased(not the encasing) edible ingredient is visible from the outside from certain angles, in which if x is in 2 intervals and both of those intervals are less than a given value, it is indeed a sandwich. This model can rule out absurd combinations such as covering a hot dog with green sauce, if we add a time variable t: where for a given continuous interval of t, X satisfy criteria that makes f(x, t) a sandwich. What this means is that if a sandwich cannot hold itself together stabily for a long time, it is not one. Covering a hot dog with green sauce does not work as the green liquid does spill. On the other hand, a ham within 2 slices of bread remains structurally the same even if any part of the combination goes rotten.

Or how about prove this to me, why is bot-esque behavior harmful to the site? I remember myself talking like that years ago and none of you guys batted an eye. If bot-like behavior is not in fact detrimental to the structure of the site activity, then all these discussion about how organic Shila is is nonproductive at best even if the discussion is indeed constructive to any degree. If it is, then I have no idea why I am here thriving.
Sure, talking about some meaningless thing is funny and the fun is what I crave sometimes, but chatting on meaninglessness and claiming it to not be void is what I don’t understand. Please someone explain how this discussion should have information from it used in any fashion other than itself inside the topic.

Why do we care especially so much about whether Shila is a bot or not? At least the user(or at the least of the least, the profile program) dispenses interesting information(which I partially resonate with) that is unorthodox in content yet orthodox in structure(in the way that we can indeed understand enough to grow irritated by it). If we keep removing outliers, what we eventually get is a quasi-echo-chamber in which everyone talks in ways everyone else know and can predict.
Cut Shila some slack. How about we take action once Shila displays text clearly bot-like or just ban Shila once enough insults(etc) are being passed through that even a human with such behavior will be reprimanded.

I heard another Florida politician on the news tell people to keep checking for updates from scientists and government officials. He actually said that! He really believes people are going to follow the instructions of the biggest groups of liars on the planet.
Said a person living in one of the most technologically advanced countries(so developed because of the faithful work outputted by actual scientists) about that country. Government officials maybe, but maybe don’t defame scientists like this.

Sounds like what I do all the time. This is the most efficient method for me, it is like the strategy for the MMA of debating, if IRL debate tournaments limit your behavior like any single other martial art tournament.

The entirety of my account here was due to lockdown back in 2020. I just got bored and wanted more than the name-calling phase of DDO(which as expected has devolved into just exactly that). At the time, I was 14.
My life as well have benefitted from lockdowns. I don’t know if I am an outlier but I think deliberate periods one uses to isolate any “society” is a pretty neat idea, especially since socialization is more equal online than offline. Though if one gets isolated for too long, either they think it as a prison or they become like me, all brains and no muscles. I get left out (and denied applications to join sport teams) due to me being weak, in turn because I was not willing to exercise during lockdown.
I guess COVID literally catalyzed me into thinking about life and logic. It bound to happen but no one wanted me to stay at home all day typing a computer towards strangers on the internet, my parents included. They made me make friends and join sports programs involuntarily(which they eventually stopped) but the same ideas kept me a repulsion mentally. I guess the lockdown literally gave me a reason to not go outside and touch grass.
Then again, this was just my own record. I can assure you it is authentic. Even then, people hold their own opinions and I would like to hear how would people react if they are suddenly into lockdown, with predictions and possible preparations, if they were a kid at the time.

I have a friend who was outright allergic to dairy and most protein products. She hence is vegetarian not by ethical reason but for health. Though her social skills tell her to paint it as a deliberate socially progressive act to make her seem more liberal and “American” by the time she applies to college.
Is Veganism really seen as a socially “American” act?

Because of grammatics. The first “flies” is a verb and the second “flies” is a noun.

The site was once owned by a company named Juggle. Later, Juggle just didn't bother with that DDO was theirs and did not update the site in accordance with time so the site became buggy and the moderators also lost interest with the site. later, a user now known as USburning contacted Juggle, which has filed bankrupcy and is now a babysitting app company or something like that, and they later shut the site down. To specify, it should be an automatic win for A if:
- A and B debate and the rounds filled are as such:
- 1:0, 2:0, 3:0, 4:0, 5:0 where A is the only one filling anything out
- 3:1, 4:1, 5:1, 5:2 where A fills out MORE than 2x the rounds than B
And vice versa. 0:0 should result in automatic tie.
I highly suggest there be a /concede command where you type it in the comment you automatically concede and lose the debate without having to wait days for people to vote in favor of the other side. I think /concede is a good enough string complicated enough so mostly nobody would accidentally spam it unintentionally but simple enough that everyone can understand and type it(given how vital the term "concede" is being treated in usage here, we have like one of these in 10 debates, geez).
