These 2 are the only 2 that are so far plausible.
[emphasis added] Your phrasing here made it sound like you were referring to some kind of flavor or role, where the player has to give truthful answers or something. But it seems you just weirdly worded the point that you think Pie is possibly legit deathproof?

The analysis stands. If Pie is Deathproof then lynching is of no consequence. If Pie is not Deathproof, then we lynch scum. I can not see a townie lying about being Deathproof and expressing willingness to test it.

2. Pie is town and he is lying: Why would someone town do that?
3. Pie is scum and he is not lying: How is a scum a deathproof any balanced?
4. Pie is scum and he is lying: Then we could get our hands on our first useful kill.
For the 1st one it is the most likely. I guess you have a point anyways. In most cases the benefits outweighs the risks.

Speed seems scummy to me. Mostly gut and I didn't like the reveal of the riddle so quickly since. It paints a target on Luna.
This line sticks out to me from the riddle. It seems to imply that some town have abilities with anti-town utility:
