So I screwed up.

I forgot half of the odds I was supposed to C/P and tired to correct it by posting the the odds (complete this time) again in Post #15. But that just confirms a mod mistake that would confirm everyone who claimed their role as “not on the list” as vanilla and therefore town.

So, do y’all wanna re-roll and restart the game or do y’all just want to abandon it? I would prefer a restart, but I can deal with a cancellation.

If you have any more questions about the game please let me know.

I left the balance up to the RNG, so I did not do any work on the game past the affiliation and power role rolls.

Possible Power Roles (rolled once for each player in the game):

Hmmmm. Then how about a preview tab for new topic posts only? 

How about only the first post of a thread be un-editable? If we’re talking something like trolling I think most users would create their own threads for the purpose of post edit trolls. 

That way, you can still fix typos outside of the OP, and most edit trolling is prevented.

Update: Due to lack of sign-ups I will just start this game at the 9 players we have. I am removing odds of a Survivor TP as well and making it a 2v7. The only randomization will be in the power roles. Just trying to get this game off the ground; I hope y'all can understand.

Would’ve joined if I hadn’t committed myself to a mafia game at the time; I don’t think I can do both at once.

Regardless I’ll watch, maybe (and that’s a big maybe) even vote on some of these.

I’m not skeptical of science- it is merely a field or study. I am much more skeptical of some of the conclusions being made, especially when they encourage you to forgo your own research in favor of whatever it is they tell you. “Trust the science” in itself is anti-science because it clashes with the healthy skepticism that a healthy field of study needs.

Town obviously wouldn’t get such a luxury since any cop or other investigative role who gets killed by mafia to prevent a result from being revealed would then be able to reveal their results.

Yeah. I don’t necessarily understand why that’s the meta, but if I were to guess it would be to prevent things like mafia choking an otherwise good game (for them anyways) away because their best player got lynched/killed.

I think I will start the game if I get 10 players. Probs going to be RNG Mafia based on current vote but if not I think I can make either of the Matrix setups with work with 10 players if I make slight adjustments.

Still, players may join even if there are already 10 players signed up. I’ll give them some time.

But I will need the help in the future.

I won’t need the help for my current game since Matrix 12 is pre-made and RNG’s balance is entirely random.

So I’ve ran 3 games that completed and I honestly think they were all very town sided in balance. So I’m looking for someone to help me balance my next game after RNG/Matrix 12 Mafia. Preferably someone who doesn’t play mafia a whole lot anymore, but is very experienced in designing games.

Any preference on which game (between Matrix 12 or RNG)?
