I am not entitled to any of the benefits of my ancestors, nor am I forced to inherit their problems. I am responsible for my own choice and actions. Same goes for anyone else. I don't care who you are.

In some cases, yes. But that doesn't tell me what I am entitled to as a person. Same thing with any other people.

There isn't really a specific step-by-step. There can be a variety of reasons. Financial incentives, political agendas, and mass confirmation bias being chief among them.

I would also like to clarify that not every member of the scientific community falls into these pitfalls, which is why there are scientific debates always happening. Which is good for science. Saying "trust the science" just because you hold the majority position among your colleagues isn't.

So I screwed up.

I forgot half of the odds I was supposed to C/P and tired to correct it by posting the the odds (complete this time) again in Post #15. But that just confirms a mod mistake that would confirm everyone who claimed their role as “not on the list” as vanilla and therefore town.

So, do y’all wanna re-roll and restart the game or do y’all just want to abandon it? I would prefer a restart, but I can deal with a cancellation.

If you have any more questions about the game please let me know.

I left the balance up to the RNG, so I did not do any work on the game past the affiliation and power role rolls.

Hmmmm. Then how about a preview tab for new topic posts only? 

How about only the first post of a thread be un-editable? If we’re talking something like trolling I think most users would create their own threads for the purpose of post edit trolls. 

That way, you can still fix typos outside of the OP, and most edit trolling is prevented.

Update: Due to lack of sign-ups I will just start this game at the 9 players we have. I am removing odds of a Survivor TP as well and making it a 2v7. The only randomization will be in the power roles. Just trying to get this game off the ground; I hope y'all can understand.

Would’ve joined if I hadn’t committed myself to a mafia game at the time; I don’t think I can do both at once.

Regardless I’ll watch, maybe (and that’s a big maybe) even vote on some of these.

I’m not skeptical of science- it is merely a field or study. I am much more skeptical of some of the conclusions being made, especially when they encourage you to forgo your own research in favor of whatever it is they tell you. “Trust the science” in itself is anti-science because it clashes with the healthy skepticism that a healthy field of study needs.
