@Best.Korea
Case in point.
You know damn well it’s not over this one thread, and I haven’t sought bans on other users for threads they’ve created or debates they’ve started. I’ve asked mods to ban a few users for other reasons for sure, but never over what you do.
I will not be responding any further.

Please just permaban his ass. His whole profile is the definition of “excessive trolling.” His contributions to the site are negative and it’s likely that new users see shit like this from him and nope the fuck out.

You lack critical thinking skills.
The flawed assumption in your argument is that suicides and murders will go away if guns are gone. In both cases, other methods will be used instead.

@Shila
About eight-in-ten U.S. murders in 2023 – 17,927 out of 22,830, or 79% – involved a firearm. That was among the highest percentages since 1968, the earliest year for which the CDC has online records. More than half of all suicides in 2023 – 27,300 out of 49,316, or 55% – also involved a gun.
… I want to test your critical thinking skills, Shila. For the point you want to make, the data you cite contains an underlying assumption about a policy change you propose. What is it, and how would someone who is pro-gun argue the assumption is flawed?

Please note that the direct impacts of gun control worsen overall crime when you compare a specific community before and after such legislation. No study has ever proven otherwise, although there’s been a lot of efforts to skew the data for such a purpose. If you want America’s crime to get even worse, you can have even more gun control.
The UK is considering arresting people who engage with certain online content or websites. Like I said… the government that disarms its populace can do far more harm than any collection of criminals… the UK is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to that.
And no, my rights do not end where fear-mongering over a rare event begins.

1. The US has a massive urban gang problem- the vast majority of US gun owners are not responsible.
2. Where gun control laws are introduced, knife and overall crime increase.
3. A government that disarms its populace can (and historically speaking, will) do more harm to its citizens than any collection of criminals.
Once again, you Europeans just don’t get it.

I’m happy Trump won and I don’t care how many fits Europe wants to throw. I don’t care for European opinions on my great country, either.
As much as I think my county’s government is too involved in the private sector’s affairs, I’m glad I don't have to worry about the speech regulations and gun restrictions many European countries have. I already think too few Americans give the federal government pushback… so that should give you an idea of what I think about Europe’s culture.

President Trump is trying to end birthright citizenship, the legal principle enshrined in the Constitution that automatically makes anyone born within the US ...You can go back to your German roots.
European thoughts American politics will never not be funny
All Trump wants to do is disallow pregnant illegals from crossing the borders, and having an “anchor baby.” That requires a specific interpretation of “birthright citizenship,” not getting rid of it. My parents are American citizens; it would not affect me.

Whose 400 year old culture is founded on Europeans, Africans and anyone else who decided to rock up.
Mostly Europeans, but merged together and distanced from Europe since 1776.
Currently headed by a Germano-Scottish President, married to a Slovenian.
*American president, married to an American who assimilated.
And an Irish- Scottish Vice President, married to an Indian.
*American vice president, married to an American.
Genetically, I have a lot of German DNA? How much do I care about it, or German culture? Zero. As far as I’m concerned, my DNA is USA.

Longtime user. Part of the 10k club. Right now, probably the best mafia player on the site. Probably the best setup creator as well. Has dabbled in just about everything on the site, mostly politics if it’s outside of mafia.
Lunatic
Another one of the better mafia players and setup creators. Has been a consistent member of this community for over 15 years. Like Pie, will dabble in a few other things on the site from time to time.

Some people may have forgotten about him, but I haven’t. While not super active these days, he still picks up debates from time to time and remains the biggest challenger to Oromagi’s throne. As a debater, super underrated. People like to complain about how he’s farmed some lower-tier debaters, but when he goes up against another titan, he’s proven he can hang with the best of em, including a 1-1 record against Oromagi. Has posted a little in the forums.

I didn’t care enough to watch. I heard Trump had some harsh things to say. Considering what Democrats have put him through the last 10 years, I’m willing to bet he was pretty lenient in his criticisms.
Heard some other news about the Democrats’ holding signs and refusing to clap for some disabled kid. This might be a hot take, but I don’t really give a shit about any controversy surrounding that.

It’ll probably affect a few urban locations… and that’s about it. Unless a lot of left-wing Americans outside of the black church get involved, nothing else will happen.
I’m going to guess Target isn’t expecting much backlash, which I think is noteworthy since historically they’ve been left-leaning whenever they get involved in anything political… so whatever data on their customers they have, they really aren’t expecting much of a hit.
Or, perhaps they want to expand their customer base. I’ve noticed a lot of companies are bending the knee to Trump on a few things (Facebook being another recent example) and I’m willing to bet it has something to do with Trump winning the popular vote for the first time. I don’t recall any large companies doing stuff like this in 2016.
I’m glad Target got rid of their DEI practices; it would be nice if they did the same for their pride displays.
Politics aside, Wal-Mart is still better imo.

Pretty much. Add them and their values, and ours will be subverted. Canada as a whole isn’t just more leftist than the US, they’re also less libertarian.

Interesting. I boycotted the Blackhawks after their locker room scandal from a few years ago.
Anyway, I’ve also stopped watching NASCAR. I’m done with that sport; the only way the sanctioning body will get its head out of its ass is if it goes all the way through and dies, like a reverse ouroboros.

Ok so the state receives some from the fed. Tbh, I would prefer each state have their own pool, outside of interstate travel.
Not exactly one of my major issues though. I suppose if they are getting money from the fed, the fed has the right to make sure it’s spent well.
