1. It’s good to have a great diversity of opinions on a debate website.

2. Left-wingers in general tend to be very pro-censorship. Reddit, Tumblr, Bluesky, all good examples. I don’t want this site flooded with pro-censorship retards who don’t respect site culture. Yes I know there will be exceptions, but Mikal and Lunatic seem to be the only ones among the current left on the site.

By getting streamers of many viewpoints (including the progleft), we avoid both problems.

I will note that Vaush, Destiny, HasanAbi, are very easy to destroy in a debate if you can sidestep their gishgallop and catch a few of their many fallacies. They are not skilled debaters, they are skilled actors who look more dominant in debates than they are.
