Bo some 85 year old man that has been a law abiding citizen his entire life saw somebody knocking on the door and randomly shot him even though UPS drivers are there every other day, some black and he doesn't just randomly shoot at them.
This is why leftists are retarded. The story they tell themselves is it is more likely somebody merely knocked on the door and instead of the owner calmly saying "wrong house", the kid politely stood there and was randomly shot. They think that is more realistic than even a possible innocent mistake like he opened the door because he thought he was at a house that typically doesn't mind people opening the door and coming in.
This is without adding malice to either side. If the 85 yr old law abiding citizen was really what retards like Roosevelt is painting him as, he would be committing a mass shooting in a predominantly black area of town. I would say the first one is a command and the second one is saying to put God first. A lot of Jesus's words are pulled from rabbi's that were popular during his time alive and we can see where he gets the verses most often quoted.
I can see arguments for taking the old testament literally or Paul literally at least where it isn't obvious to do otherwise, but Jesus spoke in parables used a lot of double entendres used common popular sayings from famous rabbis that those rabbi's themselves wrote a lot about.
The eye of the needle verse comes to mind which is found word for word in a ton of predated rabbinical texts and when those rabbi's expand on it, clearly means "very hard to get to heaven" not "impossible".
