DEMOCRAT POLLWORKER EJECTED For RIGGING BALLOTS

@oromagi
We agree that your source is an ex-teacher from Indianapolis who was fired last year for leaking documents for polticial attention and therefore not a real reporter of facts or an unbiased source for your claims. I have no idea what the law has to do with this obvious fact discrediting your source.
I don't agree with that at all. He was a whistleblower who bravely exposed a conspiracy to lie to the general public and teach children racist and derogatory beliefs about their fellow Americans.

He was fired for uncovering a conspiracy. He was not fired "for political attention."

I suppose you think James Comey is a hack as well, since he leaked documents about Trump to the press.

If you think this whistleblower who uncovered a conspiracy to defraud the American people is a hack then you should believe the same thing about James Comey.

Lol you can cite your prewritten statements all you want. You asserted, without evidence, that he is innocent based on your own preconceived biases.

You asserted, without evidence, that the GOP is engaging in a conspiracy to fire a Democrat poll volunteer.

You asserted, without evidence, that Zheng, is innocent because he is Democrat.

You asserted, without evidence, that a brave whistleblower who lost his career for exposing horrific and racist teaching material in his district and uncovering systemic lies told to parents in a conspiracy to brainwash their children is a hack.

You asserted, without evidence, that a safe red district is a place where cheating by republicans will occur.

So, in the words of your favorite legal thinker, what can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

Zheng says he was fired at 7:40 Thursday night- after voting had completed for the day.
He can say whatever he wants. That doesn't mean he isn't lying. We already have witnesses. Let's let the witnesses speak.

I'd like to remind you of the Kavanaugh trial where specific bullshit details were used to frame Kavanaugh of a crime he never committed and wasn't even there at the scene. Liars use details to appear honest.

As a democrat in a county that hasn't voted for a democratic president since 1924, Zheng has no motivation to break election laws-
Yes he does. Significantly moreso than a safe red district would. You don't cheat where you'll already win. You cheat where you'll lose. What reason would republicans have to cheat in a safe red district? It is safe red lmao.

Let's recall that Republicans have a very long history of falsifying reports and evidence of election fraud that Trump has escalated into a reckless cult of fake news after the last election.

inappropriately sharing student files with media= leaking the curriculum
You clearly are ignorant of the law. Student files are personal records. Curriculums are public documents.

Don't use loaded language and then pretend it isn't loaded. Only propagandists and hacks do that.

You said his actions are unproven by partisan actors.

What makes you think he wasn't being partisan and the GOP people were?

What rational basis do you have for the person with witnesses against them being innocent?

You went into great lengths but never actually responded to that.

apply for a small business loan, go through the very expensive permit process, and then explain as a small independent oil driller exactly how not drilling while still making loan payments is in any way profitable.

So when I worked for a small pool construction company, because my owner was a familiar face he was fast tracked. But when I went in for him, it was a nightmare and they needed all these sorts of verifications I didn't have.

There's a secret system in place for those who already use it a lot that gives them special advantages that newbies don't have.

Not to mention the fact that these corporations and billionaires practically buy out politicians at the state and local level and there you have it. Fast tracking everything.

While the rest of us wait in line, they basically run the line and control the requirements for the line.

By these definitions, Zheng committed vote rigging.

If an authority said the world would end tomorrow you'd believe it lmao.

Anyways, in the original article I cited they updated it twice with the GOP, DNC, and actual person's statements in PDFs. So it was much more balanced that your "balanced" source.

Secondly, what does reporting on an instance of voter fraud have to do with the Illinois public school system?

But to make matters worse, your reason for him being fired is completely wrong. He was fired for leaking the curriculum:

An Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) administrator was fired Monday for “sharing public files” with news outlets as well as recordings of a “Racial Justice Speaker Series” that was presented to students, according to a statement.

IPS administrator Tony Kinnett told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the HR team pulled him into several meetings that they repeatedly said were non-disciplinary, but he said at the meetings he was not allowed to speak freely, initially bring an attorney or record anything.

“We’re taking a look at what is not only best for me and my family in this situation, but also the community as well,” he said. “We’ve been in touch with the Attorney General’s office in Indianapolis. Let’s just say that Indianapolis is not out of the woods yet.

The Daily Mail also confirms:

As does local media outlet WISHTV:

But back to the fraudster in the article:

WIBC reports that the election administrator confirmed the claims:

Hamilton County election administrator Beth Sheller stated that the poll inspector had learned of two separate incidents last week that could qualify as election interference.

In fact WIBC says the same things Chalkboard Review does, but Chalkboard Review goes a step further by posting PDFs of all the statements.

I trust a source more that posts all the requisite testimonies for anyone to read over any source that doesn't. But, if you would rather trust sources that obscure the facts and avoid giving their readers direct access to information, then that is your choice.

Democrat Poll Worker Ejected After Caught Electioneering & Preselecting ‘Straight Dem. Ticket’

Election Administrator Pushes for Prosecution

by Tony Kinnett
November 6, 2022

A Democrat poll worker, James Zheng, was ejected from a Carmel, Indiana, polling location Thursday evening following complaints of electioneering and election interference, election administrator Beth Sheller told Chalkboard Review. Sheller said that voters and volunteers who identified this individual directly interfered with the voting process.

Zheng was accused by local voters of telling black voters “…not to vote for the racist candidates outside” indicating a group of pro-parent candidates (beyond the electioneering boundary) running for school board in the Carmel-Clay school district, Sheller said. Two of the voters complained about this act of electioneering to the pro-parent school board volunteer Rhonda Kuchik outside, who told Chalkboard Review she then reported this to the local inspector.

According to a press release by the Hamilton County GOP and confirmed by the election administrator, James was told by the inspector not to return Friday or Monday to the early voting center set up at Mercy Road in Carmel. In a later November 6 statement released on social media, Zheng denied these allegations.

Additionally, Sheller confirmed another report that Zheng took a voter to the voting machines and, under the guise of “explaining the voting machines” preselected a straight-Democrat ticket for the voter. Several voters complained to the local election judges and inspector of Zheng’s actions, the inspector reporting some “didn’t know how to change it back,” Sheller said.

Zheng later claimed in a statement on November 6 “The Inspector did not name me as the person who did that.”

Sheller indicated to Chalkboard Review that she hopes he is prosecuted for both aspects of alleged misconduct. “I have never seen anything like this,” she said.

Democrats Are Performing SO HORRIBLY That Even The Head of Strategizing Lost Reelection IN NEW YORK
What part of:

Kemp argued that the process wasn’t discriminatory, because pending applicants could still vote if they produced a photo ID at the polls.
Is difficult for you to understand. Even though they were flagged, they could still vote anyways. So what is the difference if they were flagged, considering the overwhelming majority of Georgians (all but 10,000 of them) have a valid ID anyways.

@IwantRooseveltagain
Give me the details of how that worked? Automatic with a drivers license perhaps?
Well... According to the article that Politifact linked to:
Amid heated battles over voting rights, Georgia has emerged as an unlikely national leader in automatic voter registration, according to a study this month by the Brennan Center for Justice. The study estimated that 94% more voters registered in Georgia than if the state hadn't implemented automatic voter registration in September 2016.

More than any voter registration drive or contentious political campaign, Georgians signed up to vote because the state government made it the default option on every driver’s license form. Everyone is registered unless they check a box to opt out of being registered to vote. Before the switch, voters had to opt in.

“Registering to vote in Georgia has never been easier,” state Elections Director Chris Harvey said.

So Georgia had an unprecedented amount of new voters, the voters could still vote even with the typos as long as they had a valid id, and virtually everyone in Georgia had a valid id. So there was no conspiracy here. Abrams lost because she is a kook.

@IwantRooseveltagain
it’s impossible to know
No. What they said was:
No proof voter suppression kept Stacey Abrams from governorship, as Democrats said in Atlanta debate
...
The state also flagged 53,000 registrations as part of a 2017 law that requires exact matches for a person based on state and Social Security records. The Associated Press found that the majority of those flagged voters were African-American. Mismatches occurred over differences as small as a missing hyphen. We can’t know how many eligible voters would have shown up and cast ballots for Abrams if they were not removed or were confused by the exact match law. Kemp argued that the process wasn’t discriminatory, because pending applicants could still vote if they produced a photo ID at the polls.

By blaming voter suppression for Abrams’ loss, Democrats ignore other factors in her uphill battle. She ran in a state where Republicans have dominated statewide races for decades while calling for more gun control, expanding health care and decriminalizing certain drug offenses. Her messages appealed to minorities and infrequent voters, but Kemp, who boasted that he could "round up criminal illegals" in his pickup truck, won more conservative parts of the state.

The focus on voter purges also omits that voter registration surged under Kemp amid automatic registration, outpacing population growth.

@IwantRooseveltagain
We all saw the long lines of black people waiting hours to vote. That was by design and an example of voter suppression.
So let me get this straight... Lines and lines of black people about to vote is voter suppression?

The lawsuit cited multiple alleged problems,
You mean the one she lost?

 plaintiffs say data entry errors or differences as minor as a missing hyphen or apostrophe can trigger a non-match and that naturalized citizens can also be wrongly flagged as noncitizens if records are outdated
Once again, the people who were flagged were able to still vote with a valid id. This was what the state decided because of the typos you suggested. Nobody was refused the ability to vote.

You are a comspiracy theorist

Abrams had a legitimate claim that the candidate suppressed black votes
Suppressed black votes? Do you seriously believe that horseshit?

CNN's exit polls showed 30% of voters were black in 2018:

At that time, black registered voters were  30.9% of the total population:

Even PolitiFact came out and said that it is not factual to claim that suppression led to Abrams losing. The so-called voter roll removal was not barring anyone from voting. They could still vote with a valid ID:

In fact, according to Georgia's own Secretary of State, just 10,000 total voters statewide have no form of Id at all:

In other words. There were no suppressed black votes. Black people turned out proportionally to their representation in the population. She has no legitimate claim of voter suppression.

Moreover, how do you explain Democrats winning in 2020 and now possibly in 2022 if black people are suppressed? That would be a rather fucking massive block of people to suppress and still manage to lose an election.

Too bad Trump couldn’t bring himself to do that because he’s a big baby.
Neither could Stacey Abrams or Hilary Clinton, or many other prominent democrats:

Admit it, your party got shitcanned and nobody likes Democrats. The main strategist, the person literally responsible for making the Democrat Party win, got clobbered in his own district. He's an incumbent candidate. Do you know how difficult it is to lose when you're the incumbent? He was barely competent enough to win in his own state. Nobody wants your insane Soviet Impeachment Trials or your Nazi Press Censorship or your Cuban Political Imprisonments. We also don't want your Venezuelan dictatorship presidency. This is America, not the United Soviet Democratic-Republic of States, and we don't want communism here. It's proven by the polls:

You lost. Concede. I don't even like many Republicans right now. But at least we are one step closer to defending human rights than we were before.

The notion that the NIH funded gain-of-function research in China

Oi vey...

State Department:

The WIV has a published record of conducting “gain-of-function” research to engineer chimeric viruses. But the WIV has not been transparent or consistent about its record of studying viruses most similar to the COVID-19 virus, including “RaTG13,” which it sampled from a cave in Yunnan Province in 2013 after several miners died of SARS-like illness. . .

The United States and other donors who funded or collaborated on civilian research at the WIV have a right and obligation to determine whether any of our research funding was diverted to secret Chinese military projects at the WIV.
NAIAD:

The research that NIH approved under the grant to EcoHealth Alliance with a subaward to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China sought to understand how animal coronaviruses, especially bat coronaviruses, evolve naturally in the environment and have the potential to become transmissible to the human population.  This research included studying viral diversity in bat reservoirs, surveying people who work in live animal markets or other occupations with high exposure to wildlife for evidence of bat coronavirus infection and analyzing data to predict which newly discovered viruses pose the greatest threat to human health. . .
This is literally the NAIAD paper explaining the research they funded to the WIH about bat coronaviruses. They swear this had nothing at all to do with COVID-19, but their assumptions are based on "people say differently." But we now know it was a lab leak from the WIH, so that is a load of horseshit.

In the video the person literally quotes Dr. Fauci verbatim.

Do I need more or will you concede now?

Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair Sean Patrick Maloney admitted defeat in his reelection bid to the House Tuesday.

Maloney, a five-term incumbent, conceded to Republican candidate Mike Lawler Wednesday morning, having been trailing him in the polls by 6%, according to multiple reports. He was running in New York’s newly-drawn 17th Congressional District, covering Rockland County and parts of Westchester County, which includes many affluent suburbs, and is the congressional district of Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Maloney’s status as DCCC Chair, placing him in charge of winning House elections for Democrats and a senior member of the party’s leadership, makes the loss a significant blow to the House Democratic Caucus.

Earlier in the year, Maloney had been expected to easily be reelected to his New York seat regardless of House Democrats’ prospects, with his district having a Cook Partisan Voting Index Score of D+8 in 2021.

The certainty of Maloney’s win was in question, however, after Cook rated the seat as a Toss Up, despite having a Cook PVI score of D+3 in 2022 and voting for President Joe Biden in the 2020 election by a margin of 10%.

Disagree. God has been questioned for 6,000 years and there are more believers today than ever.

The validity of feminism really isn't all that relevant to thread's topic.
Let's just quote the OP on this one:
Thoughts? Does anyone agree? Should feminism be falsifiable?
OP literally asked if feminism should be falsifiable. Therefore it is completely relevant to the topic.

feminism has some major logical gaps in it.
Well, that's because it does. The current feminist narrative is that men and women are equal yet women are inferior and victims.

Feminists state that men and women are equal, but then bitch when men compete in women's sports. Well, which is it? Are men and women equal or do you want segregation and admit men are better athletically than women?

Feminists state women are just as powerful as men yet then complain they are overpowered by the patriarchy and that it is hopeless. Well, which is it? Are women helpless victims of the patriarchy or are they equal and able to take over the business and political world?

Feminists can't answer the two above questions because they are blatantly unfalsifiable religious dogmas of feminism.

My thought is this: you're one step further to becoming an anti-feminist.
No he isn't. I think Christianity should be falsifiable and I'm not one step closer to becoming an atheist.

We should believe things on the merit of their existence, that doesn't make you anti-the-things-you-believe.

Fwiw, I think mainstream feminism (i.e. not the wackjob 4th wavers) is completely logical and falsifiable. Equal rights just makes sense and is very apparent in nature and in man's natural impulse.

But that doesn't mean I am anti-feminism because I think it should be able to be proven. That's just common sense. People who don't think this way are a threat to society and no different than savages. We are thinking creatures. We have brains. We aren't unrestrained savages who do whatever we feel. We live in a society where we settle our disputes with logic and reason and not fists and temper tantrums. This is the enlightenment way of living.

Media WRONGLY REPORTS Drop In Murder Rate. MORE FAKE NEWS. Murders Have SOARED!
As Murders Soar, FBI Buries the Data
By James D. Agresti
November 4, 2022

Based on a misunderstanding of new FBI data, NewsNation is reporting that 14,677 murders occurred in the U.S. during 2021, a supposedly large decline from 2020. In reality, that figure is far from complete, and comprehensive records from death certificates show that about 24,493 people were murdered in 2021. This is about:
  • 1,000 more murders than in 2020.
  • 6,000 more murders than in 2019.
  • 10,000 more murders than NewsNation reported.
Murders have become so common over the past two years that if the murder rate remains at the 2021 level, one out of every 179 people in the U.S. will eventually be murdered. Yet, certain politicians and media outlets are downplaying this bloodshed, while others are blaming it on Covid—a claim at odds with the facts.
A major source of confusion about this issue is the FBI, which is releasing fragmentary and inaccessible data on murders and other crimes. The FBI is part of the U.S. Department of Justice, which is under the authority of President Biden. . .

"One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and the one who eats, does so with regard to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and the one who does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat, and he gives thanks to God. For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living." - Romans 14:5-9 NASB20

"Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day— things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. Take care that no one keeps defrauding you of your prize by delighting in humility and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind, and not holding firmly to the head, from whom the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth which is from God." - Colossians 2:16-19 NASB20

"And it happened that He was passing through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and His disciples began to make their way along while picking the heads of grain. The Pharisees were saying to Him, “Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?” And He *said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions became hungry; how he entered the house of God in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the consecrated bread, which is not lawful for anyone to eat except the priests, and he also gave it to those who were with him?” Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord, even of the Sabbath.” - Mark 2:23-28

None of this says "do not take a sabbath day." But what it does say is that the sabbath day can be on any day a person wants and that it is also made for man to relax.

Because the Bible blatantly states it. "Some regard one day above another and others regard all days alike. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind."

One person who sets aside one day instead of another is free to do so as long as a day is set aside. That is what the Bible says, so that is what I believe.

No mental gymnastics required. It is there for us to read and comprehend.

What's even more ironic is that Mark Twain stated how he hated experts because they were morons:

"Politicians and diapers must be changed often, and for the same reason."

"I was educated once - it took me years to get over it."

"If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed. If you read the newspaper, you're mis-informed."

"How easy it is to make people believe a lie, and [how] hard it is to undo that work again!"

"If voting made any difference they wouldn't let us do it."

"Our lives, our liberty, and our property are never in greater danger than when Congress is in session."

"We have the best government that money can buy."

"Just because you’re taught that something’s right and everyone believes it’s right, it don’t make it right."

There's more, but I think I have succinctly shown that Mark Twain did not, by any means, love experts simply because they were experts.

Public-Choice, remember this very important biblical axiom, Jesus' inspired words say that anyone that works, and therefore does not rest on the Sabbath Day, should be put to death!
So by this logic we shouldn't even go to church and the pastor shouldn't preach a sermon. In fact, breathing is work, and so is drinking water and going to the bathroom. Are you suggesting that we don't go to the bathroom, eat, drink, or even breathe for an entire day?

Also, thinking is work. Are you suggesting we shouldn't think on the sabbath? That is impossible.

Moreover God tells us to worship Him seven days a week and serve Him. How are we supposed to obey God fully then, on the sabbath, if we are not allowed to work? Service and worship are both work.

Also, what is your opinion on when Jesus said the sabbath is made for man and not man for the sabbath, when the Apostles were gathering grain to feed themselves on the sabbath and it was called work by the religious leaders? (Mark 2:27-28). Clearly the Sabbath is for relaxation. The reason thr stick gatherer was put to death was because he was working on the sabbath. But feeding oneself and relaxing is not work. So that is perfectly legal on the sabbath. The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath.

And once again Jesus commands us not to call people fools. You really outta read that Bible fully and not just the parts that support your worldview out of context.

Clearly your theology needs significant work to make any sense.

Eliminating Affirmative Action will Improve Race Relations Long-Term

@bmdrocks21
So a few things:

Where I live it is 50/50 split between black people and white people. The education statistics for my city show black people on average performing worse than ESL students on some subjects. This was when I was entirely confused, because the black people I interact with in my city on a daily basis are not mentally incompetent, so I didn't know why this was occurring.

So I asked my educated, college graduated and highly intelligent black friends why this could be. And they told me that there is a real movement in the black community to ignore education. There's a plethora of reasons for it, but that is the reality. The other reality was that many black children grow up in a single-parent household and that has been shown to impact academic performance.

So the problem isn't that black people just get lower test scores because they are black. The problem is that the community has been treated like dogshit by the federal government until around 2000.

In the 1600s-1800s the gross majority of black people lived in the south and were slaves.

Then from the 1800s-1960s they were subjected to segregation, oppressive rules, blsck codes, and corporate racism. This affecter southern black people the most seriously, but in the north many companies were simply not hiring black people, and they used zoning enforcement to keep black people segregated into poor neighborhoods and bad public schools.

Then in the 70s the war on poverty was simply just a ploy to keep black people on welfare so they would vote Democrat. Then in the 80s black people were culturally attacked with pastors being paid off to support abortion. The rappers and other black celebrities were paid off to promote single-parent households, and the CIA purposely sold crack to black people so they could be arrested and used as prison labor.

Then in the 90s Bill Clinton got the absolutely moronic idea that stop and frisk should apply to anyone who isn't white. And that also led to a lot of false arrests and false convictions.

It wasn't until 2000 when most of these bullshit policies ended and the remonstrance racist policies reached their peak in 2019 under Trump, who still managed to slip in a few racist policies because of ignorance on race relations between the police and black community and housing laws that are decades old.

However, from 2015-2022, there has heen a vapidly poisonous movement to make black people racist and black supremacist. The same movement is working to foment hatred on the right, particularly for white conservatives, to see black people as hateful and trying to take their property. People on both sides are joining this racist movement against each other and it is alarming.

The point is that black people are scoring worse on tests because a significantly larger portion don't want to go to school for a variety of reasons. The potential is equal, but black people want to apply themselves to other things than education. And, yes, affirmative action WILL make this worse.

But in 2022, with the advent of the internet anf free encyclopedias and open course college classes, the education system is rendered obsolete anyways. There is no reason to go to college to get a degree unless your job specifically requires it. College is pretty much pointless, so is the schooling system.

The Catholic Church Is A Cult
-->
@Deb-8-a-bull
For some reason i feel the catholics are the first.
The OG Christians if you will.
Well, the problem lies in the fact that the Antioch Church, Coptic Orthodox church, and Orthodox denomination in general was also started by the Apostles.

So the catholics claiming they are the "one true church" because of apostolic succession is really spurious since a couple other churches were also started by the Apostles and they disagree on some foundational doctrines.

This is why it is important, as Irenaeus writes, that we consult the Scriptures and writings of the Apostles themselves. Because they founded the churches, and therefore they hold the true tradition.

@Barney
From the Catholic perspective, the rest of Christianity could be a cult for rejecting the oldest form of it
Well if that were the case, then the oldest written theological statements wouldn't be disagreeing with them.

But yet we have the oldest theological statements disagreeing with some of their foundational beliefs. So clearly they aren't orthodox, regardless of their perspective.

@Athias
In Romans 14:5 it says we are to he fully convinced in our own minds which day we worship on. Paul then continues by saying whatever day we choose to make holy for God, that day is fine.

The translation you chose KJV makes it even clearer for Colossians:
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days
So we have complete freedom fo choose if we want to celebrate holidays or sabbath days.

Right wing nut extremists are the biggest threat to our country

@IwantRooseveltagain
It certainly isn't a President that says voting is a threat to democracy or anything. That would be logical and we can't survive as a country on being intelligent. Nobody would be liberal or republican.

Is NewsGuard A Propaganda Machine?
-->
@oromagi
  Here's Scientific American making the same assessment:

"My authority says your authority is disinformation."

Do you dispute the fact that more than 10,000 epidemiologists, doctors, virologists, and more agreed to the declaration?

Do you claim that John Ionnidis is a hack?

Do you think Martin Kuldorff is a hack?

This is the problem here. You made brazenly false claims about the Great Barrington Declaration. You then backpedaled and said it was your "editorial comment" when pressed.

And now let's digest your authority:
1. Is it a republishing from The Conversation, which has writings from people that are loaded with opinionated viewpoints and not always hard science and data.

It also makes up unfounded claims about the GBD:
The Great Barrington Declaration suggests the U.S. should aim for this immune threshold through infection rather than vaccination.
No it doesn't. It says:
Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health. The results (to name a few) include lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden. Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice.

Keeping these measures in place until a vaccine is available will cause irreparable damage, with the underprivileged disproportionately harmed.
It does not, in any capacity tell people not to get vaccinated. It also does not, in any capacity, says infection instead of vaccination is how to obtain the threshold. In fact they even approve of the odea of using vaccines, as evidenced from the statement bolded.

The article also makes another false claim abput the GBD:
First, the plan wrongly assumes that all healthy people can survive a coronavirus infection. Though at-risk groups do worse, young healthy people are also dying and facing long-term issues from the illness.
It actually says:
Fortunately, our understanding of the virus is growing. We know that vulnerability to death from COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young. Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza.
The NEVER claim that young people and healthy individuals don't die of COVID. They rightly claim, and the author does agree with this, that healthier people don't die of COVID nearly as often as immunocompromised people.

They then launch into a tirade against Sweden, which is one of the most successful countries against COVID-19:

Denmark has a population death percentage of .001%
Sweden has an older population, fewer doctors and hospital beds, more obese people, and is extremely urbanized compared than Denmark and, despite that, has managed to lower death rates with each new wave of infection while Denmark is currently at their highest amount of COVID deaths. Sweden simply front ended their deaths whereas Denmark is now dealing with them.

So to compare lockdowns to no lockdowns, Sweden is winning.

The site quite literally would not have survived without him and if he left it today it would mean a considerably less active site that would decay into ruin
Then I'm thankful to RM and I apologize for being wrong about his not doing anything. If that is the truth then so be it.

Badmouth every active member keeping the website alive in order to save it.
If you feel offended then maybe it is because I'm right.

Do you think that calling people: spreaders of disinformation, morons, assholes, propagandists, promoters of pedophilia, liars, or pathetic losers creates an inclusive environment for future members? Or do you think that is abrasive and a turn-off for most people?

Do you think that people will be attracted to a website where fringe-left political conspiracy theories takes up 80% of the forum? Maybe only if you are a fringe left conspiracy theorist or qanon cultmember you'll join.

And I simply pointed out the actions we are taking right now and how they could be the reasons the website is dying. That isn't badmouthing.

It's sad when people don't take debates because they are too concerned with a position on a leaderboard than with having fun debating.

Look. I've worked for household names as a marketer. I've written articles that went viral on social media. My news stories on my news website were plastered on the biggest conservative news aggregators. Even cracked.com picked up one of my stories. I'd say I have a pretty good idea on marketing and engagement. I am trying to make this website better and, honestly, am tired of all the drama. Someone had to say it. I love this website but if this gives me hate then so be it.

At least I am trying to do something.

@RationalMadman
I honestly would like to remind you that the debate you think mattered vs me ended in a no-vote tie and the debates you're telling me nobody cares about may well get votes.
Did I say it mattered? honestly, I made it out of boredom. I didn't even agree with my own stance. But the only other options were the police brutality one and your superhero one.

I wanna do more debates on engaging topics. I chose that because I figured someone on here would take the bait. But nobody really cared. That's cool. But maybe nobody joins because we debate bullshit. Have you eber thought about that?

Similarwebs data for this website shows really low traffic metrics. And from what I can tell there are really only a handful of active members.

Most of the people who are in the top 30 of the leaderboard left one year ago. So this website is dying. People are leaving. And you insulting me isn't going to change reality.

If you want to openly admit you don't give a shit about your favorite website dying out, then just say so. I actually give a shit. I actually proposed a marketing plan. I actually came up with ideas to boost engagement. I offered to help rewrite the voting laws with the mods.

What have you done?

@RationalMadman
what a bitter loser you need to be
I'm just pointing out the elephant in the room. To outsiders looking in we look like a bunch of schoolgirls and lunatics.

Right now the trending posts are:
  • Arkhamafia DP1
  • servey: Who am I the alt of?
  • Republicans lie to win elections
  • Analysis of a Controversial Ad from America First Legal
  • Is NewsGuard A Propaganda Machine?
Now. Just step outside for a second and view this as an outsider. Doesn't this look a little nutso to you? Outside of mafia this is fringe political conspiracy bullshit (yes. I admit I posted the NewsGuard one, but only because I am so tired of seeing just fringe-left conspiracy theories on here all the time.)

But let's take in what is going on here:
Post one is cool.
Post two is bullshit schoolgirl drama
Post three is antifa-level conspiracy theories
Post four is shitposting about a conservative political marketing agency.
Post five is tinfoil anti-media conspiracy theories.

This isn't to say that the people posting this stuff is wrong or right. I am just saying it looks like extremism to anyone who joins. It looks toxic. And, tbh, it is toxic. We call each other liars, assholes, morons, and more.

Now let's look at the debates currently available:

  • The Electoral College Should Be Replaced With A Direct Popular Vote
  • Barney is not a good debater (finale) @Barney
  • Barney would more likely lose an “I can I BB” debate topic against a champion
Two of them are literally shitposts on someone people visiting the website have not heard of. The other one is a hotbutton political issue from 3 years ago (it's mine. I admit. But I make these because nobody else fucking does except mall. So I never really have anything to accept anyways).

I'm just saying we should consider that maybe we are the problem here and if we want to do something about it, instead of complaining like little children and bitching at people and calling them names, we should do our part to make this the best website on the internet.

@PREZ-HILTON
The site is dying
It's dying because the forum is spammed by far-left extremists and racists or posts about internal drama about who has an alt or is an asshole, and few people vote on debates because the voting rules are impossible to understand, making their votes get removed or they just don't get around to it because their vote will probably be removed anyways. So the debates become ties by default and that pisses people off and they stop debating.

It's also dying because nobody on here debates anything other than me, mall, Novice and RM. Even Novice has announced he will retire when he hits the #1 spot. Nobody really makes forum posts other than 4 people. They all sit around commenting on someone else's forum posts sporadically.

And when a debate does happen to be initiated, which is very rarely, it is for bullshit like if some marvel character is like a DC character without considering powers and abilities or if Barney is a good debater or not. Hardly topics people are interested in.

So of course a website with fringe lunatics raving madly about bullshit in the forums, internal schoolgirl drama, and debates about nothing that don't get any votes will turn a lot of people off to this website. Why bother signing up if you're conservative or liberal? All you hear all day is about how you are an asshole, a liar, or a loser.

And then why bother debating anything if it takes days for someone to respond to your debate? Who has the time to spend hours and hours a day sitting around waiting for someone to accept a debate? Moreover, who the hell uses email as their main notification system for social media sites?

If we want to save this site, we need to make engaging content. The forums have to be engaging. Asking questions on stuff, more games like mafia. We should also have tournaments, rap battles, etc. That stuff boosts engagement and retention rates.

The active people on this website should engage in regular debates. They shouldn't retire like pussies because they are too fucking scared of their rating dropping a point. If you think you can't win, then you don't deserve your rating in the first place. You think you're a shitty debater so why even cling to your "rating"?

Until we do stuff that boosts engagement this website will stay dead.
