The HoF should be about a celebration of the diverse contributions to the site; and about trying to vote based on that contribution to see who wins as a plurality.
While I could vote for myself; or go for some tactical plays- this is not the purpose of HoF.
User votes:
RationalMadman: Love him of hate him, RM has the most wins, most debates, second most votes and second most forum posts. He’s the most active user - and provides content that keeps all engaged - good or bad. He’s often the pantomime villain - and whatever your opinion of his actions or personality his ubiquitous presence over the last year on the site warrants a place in the hall of fame.
Virtuoso: Virtuoso is a tireless workhorse, vote moderator and debater. Despite having little free time, Virt spends all of his spare time working to better the site. I can think of no one better to be in the HoF. One of the nicest people you will ever meet and will do almost anything for anyone. Also puts up with all my crap!
Oromagi: Oromagi is #1 on the leaderboard with no losses, frustratingly metronomic in cranking up how wins - he regularly takes on complex and difficult debates. A classy guy who is always a pleasure to talk to as well. His debates are always high class, breaking down complex subjects into simple terms. He picks out key issues and points regularly, with a level of insight that is not well matched by anyone else.
Debates:
Firing Squad
Fetuses for USD
Rap Battle
Threads:
Goodbye
HoF Upcomming
Minimum Wage.

While Castle Bravo was quite the miscalculation; the Tsar Bomba was originally planned to be 100MT - but was scaled back to reduce the fallout.
(The secondary stage(s) used a compressed tamper of lead rather than fissionable Uranium).

1.) I’d be bored here without RM.
2.) When you’re a kid, and you see nice responsible grown ups on TV, with their shit together, making mature decisions acting maturely, with thought for their actions: you think that’s what being a grown up is. Now I’m nearly 40 and realize those adults don’t exist. With the exception of Bsh. This, together with him being 24 makes me more angry at the universe than I can convey. Like finding out that I’m the same age as Roger Federer.
3.) SupaDudz is indeed a great writer.
4.) The BLT/BRT controversy is all manufactured. We love both of those humongous polished orbs equally.

People:
I nominate:
Ragnar: Voting and having decisive outcomes in debates is key to the success of a debate website. Today, Ragnar is the most active voter, with the second highest number of tough votes, and second highest number of votes in debates with only a single vote cast. No matter how many words I type, Ragnar has seemed willing to read, review and vote on any debate, which is appreciated.
RationalMadman: The most active and possibly one of the most controversial user on the site, the pantomime villain in many aspects, but you can’t deny the impact and engagement - and you can’t deny that this place would be a lot less interesting without him.
Virtuoso: virt is a quiet voice in the background that beats this site into the right direction with decisions and moderation. He is exceptionally busy and yet still manages to dedicate significant amounts of time to maintaining and running the site.
Debates:
Firing Squad is the best form of capital punishment:
Probably the best debate on this website.
Rap battle vs Bsh1
This debate was like seeing your mom doing your dad. It was made into art by the lengthy and overly verbose disclaimers by Bsh1.
Genetically modified organisms are essential to human survival:
Not only was this a great example of how to fight a truism; the debate also had everything, with the right amount of post debate voting drama - and ending up with detective drama like revelations of multi-accounting.
Threads.
Upcoming hall of fame: #BLT4Life
Goodbye (RM) - A thread with everything , shock, revelation, arguments, etc.
ASTAP: I am still unsure whether this was a genuine thread, or trolling: but it actually contained massive numbers of controversial arguments, and a pile on of pretty detailed rebuttals.

Anyways enough talk of RM: let’s get back to talking about someone more popular, less salty, smaller ego, more capable, more intelligent, is capable of winning debates against high quality competition, doesn’t make things up, hasn’t quit at all - leave alone 3 times, has a sense of humour, has supporters, hasn’t blocked anyone, is liked be everyone, doesn’t cause peoples eyes to roll so hard they can see their own brain and does not dedicate 75% of their words trying to evade reality by telling everyone how smart they are, and isn’t called Ramshutu.
I talk, of course, of the notorious B.L.T.
Let’s get back to talking about the more meaningful, and productive discussion. #BshsBalls4President

It amuses me when people think I am easy to provoke and predict. They have a lot to learn and many hurdles to overcome to be near to my level of maneuvring the site, bullying and all the rest of the shit that goes on here.You can wave your dicks around all you want and call me the one with the ego problem. I appear strong when I am weak and weak when you truly are screwed. Keep at it, dish out the abuse. See who ends up supreme and who runs away.
You’re like a super hot nun. Promises so much, delivers so little.

@Barney
Stage 1: Descend into the forums.
Stage 2: use cold language to Shrivel opponents
Stage 3: Wax lyrical about policy to demonstrate how smooth an operator BLT is.
Stage 4: Dangle potential benefits of his nomination to key members.
Stage 5: Use large stature to gag unfriendly members; likely making them salty.
Stage 6: Swing into as many forum posts as possible with extreme pendulosity.
Stage 7: Delicately introduce subtle drama to induce an itch that no member wishes to scratch in public.
Stage 8: Announce that he and BRT are announcing an energetic partnership and the two will be sticking together throughout the remaining nomination process.
Stage 9: Take as much abuse from the member base until neither BLT or BRT can stand any more, at which point they unload everything on the more problematic members in a climactic drama thread.

Please stop repeatedly accusing everyone who is even slightly critical of your nonsense of bullying just because you seem perfectly willing to be critical, but completely unwilling to be criticized.

@RM
You are, again, plainly and categorically incorrect.
If someone plagiarizes a debate, and doesn’t post their argument but instead posts someone else argument, as if it’s their own or in lieu of their own - this debater has not provided their argument. They have provided someone else’s argument - its not their argument; and should not be treated as such.
Debaters who plagiarize arguments, links someone else’s argument as their own - or lazily quotes wall of texts from other sources and offers no meaningful argument of their own can and should be dismissed in this context.
Debate is about who can argue better, not who can link a source that argues better.

@Speedrace
My personal point of view is that I will not consider arguments that have been copy pasted, presented as an argument, and no attempt has been made to create an argument in their own words.
You are debating the opponent, not the website or sources your opponent can find; refuting their arguments in addition gets bonus points.

@Discipulus_Didicit
We could put Bshs left testicle, test testicle, right testicle and RMs ego in some form of Newton’s Cradle to see which survives longest.
I’m betting that the ego gets crushed like an AT-ST in the return of the Jedi on the first nut swing:

We can test to see who is less fragile.
We can try and demolish a medium sized building with bshs left testicle whilst singing wrecking ball.

I chose the Cookie of the cartoon, as it is absurd and over the top, rather than depicting anything real; Scrooge McBuzzkills comment aside, be careful about posting anything more realistic!

Ahh cmon dont be sciency
This is a serious conversation about a serious topic.
For example, if Bsh1s testicle is nominated and wins first HoF spot, would this technically be teabagging whoever is in the #2 spot?
Created:

@Vader
which ballsack would you put in the HoF
Doesn’t a ballsack mean the coin purse that encompass both testicles; so no matter how many testicles bsh has, he likely only has a single ballsack

just wait. Perhaps the test testicle will be so powerful all three will merge into a single monosticle.

Woah woah woah... you want to rush right in with a Bsh1 test testicle without a prototype?
I nominate a prototype test testicle before we go anywhere. Just to make sure we’ve figured out the nuts and bolts of the nomination process.
Created:

@bsh1
Will there be any justification needed for nominations?
IE: will “I nominate Bsh1s left testicle” be okay, or “I nominate Bsh1s left testicle, for its contribution to inner leg chafing due to rougher hue and slightly lower hanging”.

[citation needed]Leaderboards are one of many means of 'measuring' oneself. To be highest on the leaderboards as is means you're a coward pandering to the voters. I'll get there eventually by tactical grinding but that's hardly the entirety of how to outgrit, outdo and outsmart on this website.Street cred and much else all will end up favouring me as time goes by. You're the latest fad around here Ramshutu, I am the eternal legend.

You’re on page 4 of the rankings, you’ve lost to almost everyone in the top ten several times - capitulating multiple debates, you’ve quit three times, you have fewer points than someone starting from scratch - you’re the only one that’s managed to lose against all troll debate accounts, all whilst blowing a 250 point advantage.I am the one to outgrit, outdo and outsmart.
I don’t think your claim is credible given the facts.

I think Ragnars idea is pretty good: I would suggest a new class of medal: “Brown” medals. King of the bottom feeders brown medal for being bottom of the pack. Lose ten debates against someone ranked 20 places below you... lose 50/100 debates.
