Could you explain your gender dysphoria? Is it beyond just crossdressing?
Although I’m no psychologist.

When will you admit to yourself that you don't know anything. Your are just you parroting a narrative that fits your confirmation bias. You will never know the truth about anything in Washington DC just like I wont.
That’s only true if you listen to Tucker Carlson and tan your balls.

How was I supposed to know your argument was in reference to the soul? You didn’t ask the soul rehabilitation question until AFTER I already asked mine.
What do you think potentially gets judged to go to hell? The answer is a soul. This is basic Christian lore.
Created:

@Tarik
Did it? Because when I asked for clarification you answered the question with a question of your own.
Your question was a false dichotomy when it comes to the soul. That’s why I went straight to asking if the soul can be rehabilitated.
You answered maybe, in eternal damnation.

That’s dark dude. While it misses the point of what I said about rehabilitation versus eternal damnation.

Back in 90s' in Fred Hoyles book The intelligent Universe, and regarding proliferation of bacteria, they reproduce so fast, that, if left unchcecked, they would proliferate so fast as to equal the mass of known Universe, in about 6 months.
Yeah I’ve heard about that. Though covid is a virus.
They find some species of bacteria in existent in pools of radiactive cooling water where there plutonoium encased rods are regulated by the water.
I’ve heard about that too. I wonder what research they yield.
Bacteria found in pools of pure sulpher, so and so on. The info on virues in extremme enviroments is maybe harder to discern, but Hoyle believe viruses were coming in from higher altitudes above Earth and originally from passing comets.Fuller also suggested biologic life on Earth came from extra-terrestrial source.
The hypotheses is called panspermia.

A while back I heard it’s not really considered fast food. It’s more like food you would sit down at a restaurant and order.
But I think that might have been Japan and the culture around it may have changed since then.

@ebuc
...." That’s why six months ago many scientists, including us, thought the next variant would descend from Delta, which was dominant at the time. But evolution defied our expectations, and we got Omicron, which has a huge number of mutations and isn’t descended from Delta. It’s not known exactly how the virus made the big evolutionary jump that led to Omicron, although many scientists (including us) suspect the variant may have emerged from someone who couldn’t fight off the virus well, allowing it time to mutate. "...
Omicron mutated from a single individual?
..." Taking all this together, we expect SARS-CoV-2 will continue to cause new epidemics, but they will increasingly be driven by the ability to skirt around the immune system. In this sense, the future may look something like the seasonal flu, where new variants cause waves of cases each year. If this happens, which we expect it will, vaccines may need to be updated regularly similar to the flu vaccines unless we develop broader variant-proof vaccines. "..
Old news.
..." But we do know that immunity reduces disease severity even when it doesn’t fully block infections and spread, and immunity gained from vaccination and prior infections has helped blunt the impact of the Omicron wave in many countries. Updated or improved vaccines and other measures that slow transmission remain our best strategies for handling an uncertain evolutionary future. ".....
Common sense.

@TheMorningsStar
Be honest, you are essentially saying adult males and females would be the most male and female, correct? Due to development/size.
Created:
-->
@TheMorningsStar
No, and there is no possible method for that to be interpreted based on the definitions I am using. You also once again failed to address the question on 'What the traits that are on a spectrum (of sexual identity)' are. At this point I am convinced that you don't actually know how to argue for a bimodal model without creating the issues that you claim are a strawman of the position.
You were using size and development as your strawman weren’t you? Well how about obese people?
Created:
-->
@TheMorningsStar
Can we get back to biological female and male, instead of woman and man. We’re meant to be talking about biological sex.
This is a natural consequence of the bimodal model, the fact that you are taking issue with this and trying to call it a strawman (when it isn't) should be enough to see why putting sex itself (rather than just traits associated with sex) on a spectrum, even if it is a spectrum with bimodal distribution.
I’ll strawman your strawman to see if you’re actually principled. Wouldn’t obese people be the most man and woman?

Instinct is innate typical behaviour in response to certain situation, etc.
Yes, animals can have ‘personalities’.
Created:

@Polytheist-Witch
A cat saving a human infant from falling off an edge, you would say is fully instinct, while a human feeding a starving kitten, you would say is fully moral, correct?
I say there’s an instinctual basis, and we evaluate how we feel.
What if the cat chose not to save the infant, would you also call that instinct?
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@Polytheist-Witch
Okay let’s go step by step.
Does morality have a basis in instinct? Yes nor no.
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@Polytheist-Witch
In everyday life we don’t call each other immoral or moral. We say that’s good or bad. We apply the same sentiment to animals. Anyway, just because we don’t apply a word to something, doesn’t mean it isn’t applicable. Regardless, this has little to do with whether a high functioning animal understands that it feels good to share, or that it would feel bad to hurt another member.
Created:
-->
@TheMorningsStar
Man this is Freudian. You’re placing pre-existing insecurities people have onto a system that you’re making a strawman out of.
What’s considered more man or more woman is often in part culturally driven.
Created:
-->
@TheMorningsStar
By you stating there are primary, secondary, etc traits. But how does that fit into a binary system better than a bimodal?
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@Polytheist-Witch
What does that have to do with morals?
It’s a basis for decision making regardless of being human, morals included.
Created:
-->
@TheMorningsStar
That is a very uncharitable interpretation of what I am saying.
Tell me about it.
The same issues you bring up to ague against bimodal, effect the binary system more.
Or are you saying they don’t count when it comes to your arguments? I could say the exact same thing.
Created:

@TheMorningsStar
@CoolApe
Morality seen in most animals might be instincts, not morals.An argument can be made that chimpanzees and monkeys do make conscious moral decisions.
You could say that about humans. Let’s move away from primates because it will just get boring.
An example could be when a cat saves a human infant from falling off an edge, or when a human feeds a starving kitten.
It’s “instincts” either way. Morals are you just being aware of your feelings, regardless of how limited your capacity is to fully understand underlying mechanics.
I think morals are based on feelings, but you must be consciously aware that your making moral value judgments to be a moral agent.As "MorningStar" pointed out dinosaurs don't have concepts of good and evil. Therefore, they are not moral agents.
Saying dinosaurs don’t have the concept of good and bad is preposterous to me. You guys are making too wide a brush to make that claim.
Want to limit it to birds, or to specific birds?
I think the science for determining if animals have morals is shaky at best because we're applying a human concept to animals and expecting them to base decisions along those lines.
You don’t think animals have positive and negative experiences? If not, there is no footing to start from.

Created:

@CoolApe
I think language, connecting signs and symbols with meaning, is a good indicator that sentient things might be able conceptualize morality. However, I think it is probably limited to humans.
Morality is the distinction between right and wrong, good and bad. Humans learn largely from positive and negative interactions with the world, like many other relatively high functioning animals. If a human gets raised by wild animals like monkeys, would you say they don’t have morality?
I consider morality inter-subjective.

Basic premise, is generic fantasy world, magic, that is to say energy directed existing,Exception being that it came about by genetic engineer race, who're all dead now, revolution being achieved,Followed by a fall to the stone age,And a rebuilding,Somehow, the idea of including 'Gods, doesn't appeal to me much,For one, perhaps some of the longer living races, having a better history/memory of the geneticists existing,
Reminds me of kryptonians from DC or Asgardians from Marvel. They’re both genetically and technologically advanced to the point that it’s essentially magic and godlike.

I would go further and say it isn’t just correlation. Though when it comes to modernity there are cultural drivers other than close relatives passing down stories.
