How can one be happy when they know that their loved ones are engulfed in burning agony in hell? If you were to be happy in heaven, you would have to not be you.

Christians like to say that the whole "burning in hell" stuff is all a metaphor, but if everything that gives Christians an issues is a metaphor, then that gives some credibility issues to everything else.

So I was just normally meditating and offering my blood to the Dark Gods, when suddenly I hear this message speaking in my head:

Muslims indeed would call that idolatry, myself included. But that's a theological incompatibility, not an incompatibility of values. Calling it a question of morality that goes on a personal and societal level does not make it so.

And Muslims reaching the conclusion that worshiping Jesus is idolatry is not one you can confidently say wasn't based on reason. You imply that Muslims lack reason in interpreting the Quran but I feel your explanation for this is lacking.

Despite Christianity's talk of religious prosecution against them, atheists are the most hated group of people in the U.S, acording to Pew research center. 

I recently came out as an atheist to some people in my social web. I was thinking that nothing would really change. These people knew that I cared about morality, that I donated to charities and spent afternoons volunteering. 

It turned out, I was wrong. Not only that, but these people, (who I am somehow vastly more biblically literate than) had nothing but the most stupid arguments to defend their beliefs. Things like "you're just angry at god," and "Well now you're going to go to hell." There were also a lot of insults to my intelligence.

I'm not opposed to Christianity. I'm just shocked how hateful this community built around love is. 

The Christians on this stie are quite open minded and well versed on your beliefs. Can y'all please talk some sense into your peers. 

As much as it pains me, I'm going to keep lying about my faith to my friends in family. The disrespect and I have received from Christians is unbearable.

Indians have a tendency to revere whiteness despite being brown (often dark brown); it's how the British killed 150 million of them in a genocide and India and Britain still get along pretty well.

I reside in a municipality where we have some Indian immigrants; they enjoy white people; but more specifically, they enjoy white charismatic people.  They tend to vote democrat because the teachers tend to lean democrat and teachers are very often white.  But I also have a lot of Indian friends (probably disproportionally so) because I am white and charismatic (not the most left or right wing).

Even if you're white and not charismatic, Indians tend to treat you well because their culture values whiteness (so they are white supremist basically; one big DR in that context).

Trump is white and charismatic (and the leader of the most powerful nation on the globe), and especially from somewhere as distant from the US as the Indian subcontinent, they see good things about Trump while not understanding why many people in America hate him.  Just like how you (as an American) can look at the leader of Pakistan against his opponent and your opinion on them both is roughly the same.  If you were a Pakistani residing in Pakistan, then that would not be nearly as accurate.

When you are a politician, if Trump is POTUS, you can believe he's a fool, but you don't articulate that message to his face because Trump possesses a very thin skin and he preaches about free speech, but he doesn't stay consistent with this stated principle; he doesn't internalize it.

Trump is a bigoted, anti 1st amendment, xenophobe who operates based on emotion instead of a fusion of logic and a consistent morality.  If he losses, then he argues the election was rigged; if he wins; he says it was fair and square.  He cares about himself and only himself.

If you really support POTUS Trump and genuinely believe he is the most intelligent man ever to exist, then do me a favor and liquidate all your stock and put it into DJT stock; all 100% of your portfolio.

Until that happens, you don't see Trump as the savior that this nation needed from the heavens.

I think everyone knows that Israel is technically commiting genocide on Palestinians. It doesnt matter how evil muslims are, there is no justification for that so I'm not going to discuss it here. 

What I want to put into discussion, though, is the way Christians approach to this topic. This is what you're going to see all over the Internet, Christians cheering the jews to keep up with this butchery instead of condemning such horrible attacks only because both religions share the same "God" and some beliefs, but when it comes to other religions all of a sudden they start to remember there are human rights.

These are failings of Christian churches to represent the values of the Christian faith. In fact, some movements (including the protestant movement) happened as a result of devout Christians rebelling against churches failing to represent Christian values.

Christian values does not mean blindly listening to what the church tells you. Nor does believing in Christian values have to be packaged with justifying slavery, genocide or the holocaust.

By that logic, if 9/11 was carried out by Imams (or Caliphs), then I would have to conclude that Islamic values include promoting terrorism due to the actions of high authorities representing the faith.
