I am just curious as to what convinced you that God exists or if you are atheist, that he doesnt exist.

I know for atheists, there is problem of evil, and the problem of who created God.

While for religious, there is uncaused cause and the need for the creator of laws of the universe.

So, other than these, what exactly convinced you that there is God? Or if atheist, what convinced you that there is no God?

I would suggest that when modern man evaluates the past, especially religion, their explanation only demonstrates their arrogance and ignorance.

i presented evidence that out of body experiences are almost always accurate or consistent with reality. there's more than one scientific experiment that shows that this is true. either there are people who can verify what happened outside the dead person's body when they were dead, or the description is at least consistent with reality. the AWARE study had someone describe the operating room with specific details that no one who was being operated on could have known, and they also had auditory ability in a dead person when they were dead. this is a good example of 'accurate or consistent with reality'. then there's lots of stories like pam rynolds and other common stories that the dead person coudln't have known the details. this is more than just one or two anecdotes, this is a trend that is almost always accurate. 

then there's the blind people coming to grips with seeing for the first time while dead. 

these things are objectively evidence of the afterlife. it's good evidence. the most i see anyone here do with this stuff, is ignore it. the few times they respond to it, it's irrational ramblings. incoherent. 

so yes, i maintain that there's ample evidence and other common sense things that point to humans being more than elaborate flesh robots. yet, you irrationally ignore or respond to it... then have the complete lack of awareness to say we can't even know if humans are more than elaborate flesh robots.

Unfortunately the appearance of design must involve the appearance of non design as a counterpoint or it is meaningless.

The claim of a designer of everything is a claim that nothing can appear designed.

In that paradigm design can only mean exist and that makes the word design meaningless.

1. The Bible creator God would no longer be God if everyone stopped worshipping him.

2. If everyone stopped worshipping all gods there would be no more gods because that is the only requirement for being God or gods. Worship, i.e. veneration.

A Response To The Skeptic's Annotated Bible (SAB): What The Bible Says About The End Of The World

The SAB indicates that, according to the Bible, the end would come within the lifetime of Jesus' listeners. I will demonstrate why this is not the case by explaining the verses they use to conclude this. They mistake the transfiguration, the destruction of Jerusalem, Jesus being at the right hand of power, and John's Revelation at Patmos as referring to the end of the world.

Matthew 16:28 - Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. (Also see Mark 9:1; Luke 9:27)

The Interpreter's Bible says: "The prediction was not fulfilled, and later Christians found it necessary to explain that it was metaphorical."

What believers and skeptics alike seem to have glossed over is the fact that in the very next verse Matthew reveals that just 6 days later this prophecy was fulfilled. Peter, James and John witnessed the transfiguration. (Matthew 17:1-2; Luke 9:27-36; 2 Peter 1:16-18)

Matthew 23:36 - Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. (Also see Matthew 24:34; Mark 13:30; Luke 21:32)

All of the above verses differ from the verses given in consideration of Matthew 16:28. British scholar G. R. Beasley-Murray: "The phrase 'this generation' should cause no difficulty for interpreters. While admittedly genea in earlier Greek meant birth, progeny, and so race, . . . in the [Greek Septuagint] it most frequently translated the Hebrew term dor, meaning age, age of humankind, or generation in the sense of contemporaries. . . . In sayings attributed to Jesus the term appears to have a twofold connotation: on the one hand it always signifies his contemporaries, and on the other hand it always carries an implicit criticism."

So Jesus could have been directing that statement to the Jewish opposition there around him at that time, who, within a generation would see the destruction of Jerusalem in 66 - 70 CE by Titus, the son of Emperor Vespasian where 1,100,000 Jews died and 97,000 were taken captive, most of whom died horrible deaths and the Christians who knew it would come were saved. (Matthew 24:16, 22) And Jesus may have been applying the same to those in opposition in the future as well.

Matthew 26:64 and Mark 14:62 are parallel accounts to one another and you won't have to wait or look far to see them fulfilled. Acts 7:55-56: "But he, being full of holy spirit gazed into heaven and caught sight of God's glory and of Jesus standing at God's right hand, and he said: "Look! I behold the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God's right hand." Also see Psalm 110:1; Luke 22:69; Ephesians 1:20; Colossians 3:1.

John 21:20-23 is somewhat interesting. Jesus may have been telling Peter that John would live longer than him, and in fact John would live 70 years, but also he might have been referring to the prophetic vision that John was given at the end of his life while in exile on the island of Patmos. As recorded in the book of Revelation John was transported to "the Lords day." (Revelation 1:1, 10; Revelation 22:20)

1 John 2:18 refers to the end of the apostolic period. The work mentioned as important in the scriptures at the beginning of this article were near completion and would conclude upon the death of John shortly after he completed the writing of Revelation.

When you teach people to be good for personal gain, you are also teaching them to be bad for personal gain.

Because your religion, Christianity, is not based on being good for the sake of being good. No. It is based on being good for personal gain. 

When you teach people that personal gain is the true goal, then you get the true society of greed.

So Christianity has achieved opposite of what it "intended".

It did not create peaceful society of humble people who never have immoral sex.

No. It created society of greed, murder, wars, corruption and violence.

Naturally, human can only be at peace when he has his needs met.

Christianity, by banning people from meeting their needs, can only produce a greedy violent society.

And really, when you look at history before Christianity and history during Christianity, you dont see any benefits for society.

No. Christianity replaced all the ancient philosophy with endless conversations about imaginary places and endless interpretations of the boring Bible.

It has essentially killed all curiosity of the ancient world. It banned the study and practice of different religions and replaced it with endless study of one.

It is the first religion to declare war on all other religions.

The fall of Christianity didnt come because Lucifer casted some magic on people, otherwise he would have done so at the start.

No. The fall of Christianity came because Christianity is a religion that was destined to fall.

It was poisoned with goal to oppress human nature and replace human nature with some unrealistic goal of some super humans who do not eat a lot, do not drink a lot, do not have sex, tolerate all kinds of bullying, and do not do anything except sit and wait until they die to go to heaven.

When such goals failed miserably and never gained any popularity, Christianity became spread by going for half of values it once had.

Apparently, instead of tolerating bullying, you tolerate just some of bullying until it becomes too much 

Instead of not having sex at all, you try to limit sex to one person.

Instead of not eating too much all the time, you spend some days of not eating too much.

Instead of not doing anything but waiting, you go and live your life while sometimes returning to actual teachings of Christianity, only to abandon them again.

They created the teaching that everyone is a sinner, and made it unclear how much sin is too much.

Thus, they created half-Christianity, society where all people think that they are more good than bad. 

So doing some bad things is okay if you also do some good things.

Christianity completely destroyed the old values of trying to be trully good, and replaced it with nonsense where everyone thinks that he is good because he does few good things from time to time.

The end result is that most people do more bad things than good things.

But because Christianity doesnt even have some wide spread concept of bad things outside of 10 commandments, all kinds of violence, force and bad things are done by Christians without those Christians realizing that they are doing something bad.

This is because Christianity ends the debate before it can begin.

Christianity limits itself to 10 bad things, with no reasoning being used at all.

So naturally, Christians have no actual motivation to think why something is good or bad.

No. All what they do is ask Bible, or just ignore the problem.

A religion which discourages thinking is indeed a religion set up for failure, thus it is no wonder that Christianity cannot be maintained, it is no wonder that Christianity didnt result in any prosperity for society.

It is no wonder that people are abandoning Christian teachings more and more, and it’s not just because they were never popular to begin with.

The placebo effect --belief in this or that or the other--- occurs as much as 10% of the time in some lab experiments. First read this some 20 years ago.

Religions ban people from having gay sex, so I say "gay sex is good here", and all gays will turn to satanism. Then if there are some atheists passing by, I tell them "there are no actually really real Gods here, so you guys can join too". Then if I see some women, I tell them how satanism promotes sexual liberation. And if some pervert men come, I say that satanism doesnt really condemn sexual perversions and rules about sex arent really strict, so they join too. If I see some obese people, I tell them that having extra weight is considered beneficial in satanism, as opposed to starving yourself like those religious people do. At the same time, I would talk bad about all other religious tents. I would even make things up. I would even go to muslim religious tent and tell them that Christian tent was talking bad of them, so the two tents would fight. So I would sell Satanism to everyone except really religious folks, they cant be converted.

It's really interesting to realize that this kind of communication is present in many stories of the bible, where an "angel" says something important into someone's dreams. Jacob and Joseph received "angelical" messages in dreams. "The angel of God said to me in the dream, ‘Jacob.’ I answered, ‘Here I am.’", Genesis 31:11. "Now after Herod had died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt'", Matthew 2:19. What we have to understand is that the aliens are millions of years ahead, so it’s not far-fetched to think they have full control of their minds. In fact, the ufologist Sixto Paz had contact with the aliens using telepathy several times. As well as him, there are other people that were contacted the same way. If nowadays we can communicate instantly with other people that are on the other side of the world using invisible electromagnetic waves, why couldn’t we think that our minds can do the same? It’s totally possible and could explain many stories of the bible related to extraterrestrial beings doing telepathy and even prophecies.

Atheism is nonsensical because: 

a) It is practically non-existent. Everyone has gods, they just don't know it.

b) By definition falsifiable by the evidence. There are myriads of gods.

c) Specifically unscientific. God (supernatural) can't be tested.

d) Atheism is really either just apathetic irreligion or sociopolitical frustration of a militant minority.

Theistic  =    a foolish or gullible person..   

Simpletons  =   belife in the existence of a god or gods.
