--> @ShilaNo, more I just find it fun to imagine what I might build on various land, or life I would live in various houses, locations.Even if I bought one location, other locations and different lives would still be there,So it's more about the daydream, than making actionable plans in life.
People with just a high school education daydream more than college graduates who are too busy in their careers.

--> @ShilaHow bad is California’s housing shortage? A 2015 study by the state’s Legislative Analyst found that the state has been building about 110,000 fewer units than the amount needed to keep up with demand. And California has been doing this for more than 30 years! That adds up to a shortage of around 3.5 million housing units and counting. And that translates to higher prices. A 2,400 square foot home in San Francisco will cost around $1.4 million if you’re lucky. The same house in Phoenix, a metro area about the same size, might go for around $400,000. And don’t get us started on the gas prices, the highest in the nation.2022 Cost of Living Score: 3 out of 50 points (Top States Grade: F)Consumer Price Index (May, West Region): UP 8.3%Average Home Price (San Francisco): $1,396,782Half Gallon of Milk: $2.55Monthly Energy Bill: $266.44
California is a sanctuary state. The Refugees have high standards so these sanctuary states should be prepared before they accept them.

--> @RationalMadmanSure, buddyJust telling you the Google results.Putting the term "RationalMoron" in quotations causes it to look for pages with that specific term, using site:debateart.com limits the results to urls that include 'debateart.com'.Combining the two and it has Google look for any instances of the term "RationalMoron" on a website with 'debateart.com' in the url.Always possibly that Google missed something, but it makes it easy to cut down on a long search if you know the term you are looking for. Even checked for "Rational Moron" and got nothing. So, maybe Google is missing it, maybe you are misremembering the term, or maybe something else entirely

He is talking about Red replacement theory. Lots of POC conservatives live in Red States. Most of them are against an open border. Especially when they have to pay for an open border.JoJo , an “open border” by definition means people are not being processed by the relevant agencies. That obviously is not what is happening or they wouldn’t be getting transferred by authorities in Texas and Florida.
The cleared refugees were in Texas. What business did DeSantis Florida have to relocate them elsewhere?
Shouldn’t Texas Greg Abbot also be implicated in this illegal human trafficking?

There are many people I would just let die where they stand for numerous different reasons. For instance I would not lift one finger to help a pedophile. They need to die the most slow agonizing death imaginable.

New cars should be direct-to-consumer. And used cars, just use a private seller. The two main flaws of dealerships:
- Significantly higher markup compared to private sellers. Expect to pay 30% more, which doesn't sound like a lot. But essentially, if you spend $15k on a car at a dealership, you get a car you could've gotten for $5k at a dealership.
- Dishonesty and ethical concerns. Pedophiles, murderers and rapists are the only thing preventing car salesmen from being on the lowest-rung of the moral totem pole.
Also, the benefits of car dealerships aren't actually benefits:
- "They provide customer service". They waste hours of your time: chatting with you, making you wait in the waiting room while they talk to their manager, negotiating prices that they set artificially high, knowing they'll waste your time. You're paying money to waste 3-5 hours of your time. They don't help you get a product; they're just a barrier in the way of getting a product
- "They can provide knowledge and help you compare cars". You can find this information online, and get more detailed information (stats, features, reviews, etc). And there's less potential conflict of interest when learning from an independent party compared to learning from people who are trying to sell you their product.
- "They inspect their cars, unlike private sellers". But there's a chance their inspection wasn't thorough enough. You always assume that risk. Either way, you get an independent mechanic to look at the car. Them inspecting it doesn't change your decision whatsoever.
The fact there are so many dealerships and consumers rely on them should be proof they serve consumers well.
Private sales are a risk both to the seller and buyer. They are both open to scams, threats and violence.

--> @Shilathe BMI overestimates fatness and health risks for Black people. Meanwhile, according to the World Health Organization, the BMI underestimates health risks for Asian communities,This is true. But it doesn't necessarily negate the fact that most people are fat. This may apply in borderline cases, but even if you subtract 2 BMI from someone who is obese, they're still obese or overweight.
What good are these studies when they put both Blacks and Asians at high risk by over and under estimating their condition?

-> @AthiasMy cousin recommended the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series to me in the 90's and I wanted nothing to do with it because I wasn't much of a fantasy reader.Very rare for me to read fiction. But I was bought the books as a present by the grandchildren for Christmas, ( I felt obligated to read them) but was quite surprised to find that there is quite a lot of British and other history woven through the books/ series of the G of T. The red wedding was inspired by the black wedding that happened in Scotland. War of the Roses is another. The tv series fell off for me after Season 4 and didn't compare to the books in any way. I have read that the two producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, aka Dumb & Dumber ran out of material? hard to believe considering the books runs into what seem like a billion of pages. It didn't help that the author pissed off to write masses of other stuff before completing Song of Ice and Fire.... which still hasn't been completed. The dedicated ardent fans must feel cheated.Won't bother with this new woke shite called House of The Dragon. FKN woke brigade just can't leave fk all alone, can they.
Is that how you keep your grandchildren stupid so you can read their books?

--> @ShilaI hate slavery so I am anti-white. Slave owners were white, so I must hate white people.Slavery was practiced all around the world by various other races, not just White people. You have unfairly targeted Whites. That makes whites as low as other races. You originally said: "slave owners were white". You've now implicitly conceded that other races also enslaved: "as low as other races".
That was your claim. See #143.
“Slavery was practiced all around the world by various other races, not just White people. You have unfairly targeted Whites. ”
Hence, you've demonstrated that you unfairly targeted Whites.
Whites even tried to colonize the world. But two world wars among white nations but an end to this ambition.
Also, White people were the first race to push for the end of slavery.Whites ended slavery after sleeping with slaves became fashionable. If you "hate slavery so I am anti-white", why would you hate Whites when they instigated the abolition of the thing you hate? Shouldn't you be pro-White because it's Whites attempting to end the thing you hate?
Whites ended slavery after sleeping with slaves became fashionable.
Slaves were exploited for several hundred years. Ending slavery by trafficking slaves as sex pawns is still slavery.

None of the views you listed are covered by your education.Formally studying some topics does not mean you cannot informally study other topics. Look at Bill Nye as an example. Bill Nye hosted a science education program, continued to work in various ways to educate the public in science, etc., but what he formally studied was engineering. Does this mean Bill Nye is uneducated in science? Not at all. He studied science beyond just his formal education in it because he was passionate, the same can be said of many people with many fields of interest. You do not need to have a formal education in something to be knowledgeable in it (hence why many academic journals do accept papers written by people without a formal education in the field, so long as the paper meets the standard for publication).
You listed your interest as: My interests include religion, philosophy, science, history, politics, and more.

I am a Financial Manager and manage peoples money.
Now you can see why Trump’s CFO Allen Weisselberg was charged with fraud. He was a crook working for a crook.
Really? It’s interesting that you don’t know the basics of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy. 6 Chapter 11 bankruptcies out of more than 500 separate businesses. I’d call that a massive success.
Here is a quick breakdown of the six Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings by companies owned by Donald Trump. All six of Donald Trump’s bankruptcy filings were prior to him becoming our current U.S. President.
1991: Trump’s Taj Mahal
1992: First of two Atlantic City casinos owned by Donald Trump.
1992: Second of two Atlantic City casinos owned by Donald Trump.
1992: Trump’s Plaza Hotel in New York City
2004: Trump’s Hotels and Casinos Resorts
2009: Trump’s Entertainment Resorts
Trump has not paid any taxes for 10 years claiming over a billion in losses.
Created:
The Republican conspiracy is Trump. They believe Trump can single-handedly destroy the institutions Americans rely on and even the Constitution.
What is even more sinister is Trump will not be around after the damage is done considering his advanced age.

--> @TejreticsLike I just did in the Politics forum, here are some of my controversial philosophical views. Would love to chat about any of them! Also check out my AMA.
- Epistemic nihilism is false. I’m not sure its truth can actually be evaluated, but at minimum, it’s useless and unproductive.
- God almost certainly doesn’t exist.
- Highly uncertain about this, but free will probably exists.
- Moral realism is probably true, though highly uncertain.
- Common sense morality is, all things considered, a pretty good metric.
- The best approximation of a good moral theory that I can think of is preference utilitarianism, albeit somewhat skittish, accounting for moral uncertainty with either expected choice-worthiness or a parliamentary model, and incorporating some unusually strong common sense intuitions.
- Creating new happy lives is a good thing, though not as good as making existing people happy. Creating new bad lives is a bad thing (though not as bad, other things equal, as inflicting suffering on existing people).
- Countries don’t have very large special obligations to their own citizens. They should prioritize their citizens a bit more than non-citizens, for pragmatic reasons, but policy should, in general, focus a lot more on the rest of the world.
- Individuals have a moral obligation to assist those in need.
- We should care, morally, as much about future generations as the current one. Of course, for practical reasons, it often makes sense to prioritize the interests of people alive today, but the moral worth of someone 300 or 3000 years from now is no different than the moral worth of someone alive today.
Your profile says you studied math and economics. None of the views you listed are covered by your education.
In essence you are arguing about your nonexistent knowledge on subjects that are not covered by your education. But that does not exclude others from acquiring this knowledge.

Genderqueer is a movement that goes beyond gender binary (Male or female) or even transgender or homosexuality. They are explicitly queer and cannot be defined by gender or sex.
For example genderqueer would include queers with multiple vaginas or multiple penises. These queers would not belong to or be limited to LGBT labels.

--> @ShilaIf the Bible says good and evil come directly from the mind of God, then by definition, wouldn't they be subjective truths?Truth cannot be subjective; there is no such thing as your truth or my truth. Truth is forever fixed. Authentic Christianity has always held that Scripture is absolute, objective truth. The Bible is God’s truth regardless of whether a person believes, understands, or likes it. It is permanent and universal truth, and therefore is the same for everyone. Deuteronomy 4:2 and Revelation 22:18–19 warn against adding to or taking away from Scripture, lest one suffer the plagues recorded therein. Proverbs 30:5–6 states: “Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.” The Bible is God’s Word to man—inspired, objective, and absolute truth. The very nature and use of the word “truth implies that it is referential to a dynamic, it isn’t self-referential, it refers to a relationship between things in constant change and flux because that dynamic is subject to time and progress.
Truth is not relative.
Truth is forever fixed. Authentic Christianity has always held that Scripture is absolute, objective truth. The Bible is God’s truth regardless of whether a person believes, understands, or likes it. It is permanent and universal truth, and therefore is the same for everyone.
The Truth is not true because Jesus said it; Jesus said it because it is true. There is a huge difference and the difference is this; the Truth is also true when Muhammad says it, and it is just as true when an atheist says it. The Truth is simply true, no matter what the metaphysical presuppositions of the person who speaks the Truth are, and no matter in what time or place, language or culture, or in what form that truth is expressed. Absolute Truth is absolutely, universally, and eternally true.Absolute truth is not consistent with literal truth.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
1 Peter 1:25 but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away
Jesus spoke the absolute truth.
Mohammad claimed the truth was revealed to him by Gabriel.
Atheists have yet to discover the truth.
Absolute Truth is absolutely, universally, and eternally true and should be taken literally.
