I still don't find your overall case of hardcore skepticism and sky-high bar setting to be reasonable. There are certainly limitations to the poll, of which you've covered, but they're not debilitating enough to render the poll results as merely an expression of perceptions. The poll needs a few reasonable assumptions and a unique interpretation of the results in order to be made valid.

I think I could defend this poll against you in this debate, and thereby show it has more value than merely collecting "perceptions".

Gender affirming therapists are analytically a contradictory position- therapists, as Peterson as opined,  are supposed to question and ascertain whether your beliefs are valid, they are not supposed to affirm predisposed beliefs. There is no other branch of psychology which affirms beliefs as opposed to challenge outside of the pseudoscientific gender affirming therapists.

And these days survival is an expensive commitment.

It's theoretically possible and desirable that the human brain could be redesigned to remove its tribal elements. Perhaps something as simple as removing the more ancient part of the human brain would suffice, maybe by manually recoding human DNA to make the RNA not produce it (or to have it non-functional). Although, it's likely (if possible) going to be rewiring many parts of the brain to ignore or circumvent the tribalistic parts (I'm not sure how integrated tribalism is in the human brain).

This should have drastic implications for politics, given that tribalism basically drives the voting decisions for most people. Ideas should become the leading way that politics is conducted, instead of group self-interest. This would allow for rapid, unified development in technology and critical thought as no time would be lost on race-based politics (and other tribal battles).

I do worry about the free-loader problem (i.e. people not contributing their part to group activity). Tribalism does seem to protect against it. I doubt making humans non-tribal would also make them selfless.

I'm interested to hear other people's thoughts on this. I'm not a neuro-scientist so I'm not sure how grounded in reality all of this is.

TWS1405: Transgenders are less than 0.5-0.8% of the population, and LGBQ are less than 5-8% of the population. Most wouldn’t pass initial medical and psych screenings. So no, there wouldn’t be enough to “fill the ranks.”

Yet to this very day, no one the world over ever hears about racism against blacks except against those blacks in America.  Sure, there is some racism in other places, but it pales in comparison to the racism claimed in America against blacks.
