I take free will to be only a name or label for our faculty to make choices.
Free will is demonstrable, if we make a choice in a specific set of circumstances, realign our will, then make another choice in the same set of circumstances.

If rights are invaluable, having a basis in truth independent of value, they are certainly not a "value claim".

If "rights" are a value claim, the personal contention is not actually referring to a right in theory or practice

Rights are thought to have a basis in truth.  Whether you value the truth or not is irrelevant.

Rights don't need protection or enforcement.  People apparently do, in the current setting.

The government is the reason the constitution is relevant to this day. Not because of the constitution. This means without the government power like what the US has the constitution would hold nothing of value.
The rights mentioned in the constitution are not contingent upon it, or the government of the United States.  Assuming you are native born your education has been an utter disaster in the civics department, as this should practically be common knowledge among citizens of the United States.  Law is still practiced as such up till present time within the United States of America.

Abortion is a form of birth control. Contraception is thought by the catholic church to somehow cause a divine disruption, our something like that. People may use it as such but Contraception is not generally what I would consider birth control.

If you worship yourself, your pet rock or anything for that matter, and it grants one rights, then according to the definition it would seem applicable to respect them as a person.

what I find interesting and perhaps what should be discussing is the question with no answer, what is a human life, person etc  As you said it is subjective and on many levels.  Often the question of x when meet with why is easily changed to "because I feel" and if you can do that it's just feelings or some other arbitrary reason.

One thing I have noted from Omar is a tendency indicative of a conservative approach as it pertains to killing.  If something is a gray area, then it must be justified, or we best not do it, which is consistent with his approach towards sentient animals in addition to humans, assuming he hasn't justified taking life of animals before.  It makes sense if in case it is not yet ascertained what was right, that they could not ensure due process. I'm surprised this is done with an expressed world view where the truth is arbitrated by people, rather than respected by them.

That may be slander, but it is not a lie without intentional deceit. If they believe something to be the case, and say it how they see it, that is not a lie. If you slander a slanderer that wouldn't make sense in the context of a forum, so hopefully you have some basis behind such an assertion.

would the doctor get prison time or just loose is licence and ability to practice medicine in that state?  I'm not sure what the proposed punishment is, I haven't looked into it that deeply.
10 to 99.  I believe the law is designed as a statement piece to say "this is a human being".  It takes effect in 6 months according to my sources

It was pretty big year for fashion
A lousy year for rock and roll
The people gave their blessing to crimes of passion
It was a dark, dark night of the collective soul
And I was somewhere out on riverside by the El Royale hotel
When a stranger appeared in a cloud of smoke
I thought I knew him all too well
He said now that I have your attention
I got something I wanna say
You may not wanna hear it,
I'm gonna tell it to you anyway
You know I've always liked you boy
Cause you were not afraid of me
Things are gonna get mighty rough here in Gomorrah-by-the-sea
Ya said it's just like home
It's so damn hot I can't stand it
My fine seersucker suit is all soaking wet
And the hills are burning
And the wind is raging
And the clock strikes midnight in the garden of Allah
In the Garden of Allah

Nice car
Ah, I love those Bavarians, So meticulous
Y'know, I remember when things were a lot more fun around here
When good was good and evil was evil
Before things got so fuzzy
I was once a golden boy like you
And I was summoned to the halls of power in the heavenly courts
And I dined with the deities who looked upon me with favor
For my talents, my creativity
And we sat beneath the palms
In the warm afternoons and drank the wine
With Fitzgerald and Huxley
And they pawned the biting phrase from the tongues hot with blood
And drained their pins of bitter ink
Vainly reaching for the bottle full of empty edens
Branded especially for the ones who had come with great expectations
To the perfumed halls of Allah, for their time in the sun

And we were stoking the fires and oiling up the machinery
Until the gods found out we had ideas of our own
And war was coming and the earth was shaking
And there was no more ruin in the Garden of Allah
Today I made an appearance downtown
I am an expert witness because I say I am
And I said gentlemen, and I use that world loosely
I will testify for you, I'm a gun for hire, I'm a saint, I'm a liar
Because there are no facts, there is no truth
Just data to be manipulated
I can get you any result you like
What's it worth to you?
Because there is no wrong, there is no right
And I sleep very well at night
No shame, no solution, no remorse, no retribution
Just people selling t-shirts
Just opportunity to participate in the pathetic little circus
And winning, winning, winning
It was pretty big year for predators
The marketplace was on a roll
And the land of opportunity
Spawned a whole new breed of men without souls
This year notoriety got all confused with fame
And the devil is downhearted babe, cause
There's nothing left for him to claim
He said it's just like home
It's so low-down I can't stand it
I guess my work around here has all been done
And the fruit is rotten, the serpent's eyes shine
As he wraps around the vine,
In the Garden of Allah

Potatoes meet the definition of life, but are not of the homo sapien species

It's not that hard to comprehend at all.

Life: the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death

An appendix is not a life form, a living thing like a plant or an animal.

Not necessarily, for example if someone were robbing a bank and someone died, that would be upon them even if they were sincerely defending their life. If someone had intent to kill, that would probably not be right. If someone unreasonably escalated the situation, that could be morally problematic. If someone takes a stand on something which is morally obtuse. In certain situations there may be a duty to retreat, and there is question of proportionality.

If you are ok with beings that can communicate their personhood being killed, for any reason, it seems odd to quibble over a being whose personhood is under contention
Is this a sick joke?

You have a tax on needy children.

And you expect the housing market to shift to tents, shanties and apartment boxes

You expect the poor to work 15 hours a day.

I predict the cumulative effect is that an underclass of people become completely dependant on their employers, assuming they have employment. Probably no land, no time to think for themselves, no wheels, few skills.

Is maximizing GDP your singular goal?

A classic: From creator god ==> Specific God
If you want to argue against deportation, first you have to change the whole system to having open borders. You can't harbor and endorse illegal  immigration and seriously contend you are treating people equally. People are dishonestly advocating for the opposite by being complacent about it, and it puts strain on the legal avenues of migration as well.

It is advisable to define the term philosophically if you want to have a philosophical conversation on it, or someone may conflate the philosophy with skepticism, or things could be further removed by some sort of claim to personal identity.

Also, what we will in life is something that shouldn't be simply dismissed.

Maybe religious reasons, or because they don't want doctors to look at them like a bag of fresh meat

punishment for abortion shouldn't be the same as murder early in the pregnancy
I think murdering an old person is as bad as murdering a 25 year old.  Otherwise, the penalty for murdering an old person would be less then a 25 year old.  But all murder is callous.  All murder is evil and all murder must be stopped.
You had an issue with rape in which you didn't differentiate violent crime from statutory rape. Do you think that doctors who perform an abortion present a threat to society at large? If the problem could be solved by revoking their license, why would you treat them the same as a terrorist?

#44 If you are ok killing people with a gun for any reason don't blame a women who wants to terminate a pregnancy before the thing is even a person.

You did happen to imply that others are okay killing people with a gun, as they should be okay with killing subhumans for any reason.

Please pinpoint the transformative event that does make one human or you have done nothing to "unload" the question.
Since detachment from the placenta is not a transformative event,  it logically follows that if what you consider a "kid" is human, that also a "fetus" is human, assuming that what you consider a kid was once attached to a human placenta.
