Mikal claimed to see me typing in Discord due to some weird glitch, I denied it and said I hadn't been on Discord in like an hour or so, he thinks I was typing in scum chat, then he pastes in his role PM and Supa modkills him b/c he explicitly told him not to paste it, then people told me to claim because of the Discord stuff and because Mikal's PM said he was town, I refused to based on principle that using Discord stuff to scumread him isn't right, I continued to get pressured by Dani, whiteflame, That1, Pie and Chris, I character claim (Lucy Heartfilia) but don't role claim, everyone besides Dani gets off of me, two inactives get replaced by drafter and you, and yep that's pretty much it

Say Mikal insisted I was scum cuz I was on Facebook/Discord and a wagon built even though I know for a fact I wasn't online. I'd still claim (and I'd be pissed) and I'd probably pursue one of the people on that wagon depending if I thought they really believed Mikal or not. You can usually gauge depending on who it is.

Everyone is acting as if this will give me future precedence to not claim whenever I want, but as I've explained and as history has shown, I have no problem claiming for behavioral pressure or pretty much anything else, as long as it is in-game. This isn't like I'm gonna suddenly stop claiming forever in every game

You can argue that the Discord logic is stupid (and I'd 100% agree because Mikal apparently thinks I'm on Discord/Facebook all the time when I'm literally never on) but the fact that you think this is suddenly outrageous when it comes up time and again and we constantly defer to the Discord stuff is suspect.
We've never lynched or voted someone for Discord stuff

And yes a lot of the reasons we give for voting players DP1 is stupid depending on who's playing. Last game doesn't count cuz of GP's fuckery, but in MCU I just looked and GP started the day phase off by voting for because "you're always scum."

And besides that fact, no one has ever claimed for one of those stupid reasons. People vote for them, sure, but no one claims for those reasons

Re: Croc, I don't want to lynch him cuz he claimed Hated Townie. I actually forgot that it was him who claimed that. I just don't like that he knew Mikal was town. There was no way to know that and Croc isn't some magically gifted or present Mafia player to have known that.

Let me make this clear. I'm not "playing like a brat." In fact every time I've been pressured before, I've claimed. The one difference this time is because some idiot claims he saw me typing in Discord when I KNOW I was not typing in Discord. If I claim now, then in literally any game that some idiot wants to claim to see me typing in Discord, I'll have to claim. Not claiming here gives me precedence to refuse that kind of stupidity in the future. That is the only reason that I currently refuse to claim. I refuse to play on a site where any idiot can troll me and I have to play abnormally as a result.
So lynch me if you want, I really couldn't care less.
Also, for the Jester logic, you guys don't understand because you assume I am mafia. If I am town, and someone accuses me of typing in Discord when I know I am not and offers a 1 for 1, what conclusion am I supposed to come to? Sure, Mikal throws all the time, but I've never seen him purposefully try to kill another townie just because (besides Max but that's different). So saying he's a jester is perfectly reasonable. I literally don't see what's so hard to understand about this

I'm not super caught up; I assume where talking about the same thing we've been talking about all day, and that's still about getting speed to claim. Speed's behavior seems incredibly townie to me right now, his reaction to the pressure, to mikal, etc. I feel like pressuring him for a claim will end up being a mistake, and that if he was a low risk role he probably would have claimed at this point.

It did not make any sense beyond the assertion itself. He wasn't mafia, he just got modkilled for outing himself, but if he was trying to do that, he wouldn't have claimed a character that prominent who clearly does not fit the Jester role. I don't care whether you think it works behaviorally or not (personally, I think if Mikal wanted to be lynched, it wouldn't have been at all difficult), it didn't make any logical sense based on the information we had.
