This type of setup put me at a huge disadvantage. I'm terrible at reads in any game, so with no investigative roles, I just didn't know what to do.
I think it's kinda helpful so that you can build the intuition ya know?

Yeah, I definitely fucked that up. Shocked that there was absolutely no investigative role in town. The moment Badger claimed an investigative role, it gave him the perfect cover. Ballsy claim since you probably didn’t know there were no investigative roles on town.

Ok so, MC is not scum, how much better could his claim get? Same for SirAnon and Badger, I think lean for Wylted as well because he advocated for lynching himself (and note that we absolutely should not lynch him when we could just lynch the person he would shoot)
VTL GP like I said literally from day 1. Also for people confused why I went from gp to earth, no one wanted to lynch GP yesterday and I behaviorally scum read Earth more than GP (and Danielle acknowledged that)
This leaves That and WF as scum; I think it honestly could be Danielle instead of WF and she waived the kill to support the role that she has breadcrumbed since last DP, WF is just behaviorally much more towny given his reads have been more consistent

Two things
I don't have a role that could've caused this, so someone else likely does (given the only reason mafia would've waived the NK is to help SirAnon's claim but clearly that isn't the case), but that person doesn't need to give up their role
Secondly, I didn't lead the lynch on Earth...? WF was the first person to sus Earth and I think he even gave his reasoning for Earth's doctor claim being bad for I did; just because I was the first vote on him doesn't mean anything

They are null to me because none of them seem to be deviating from their usual scripts. I don't know if I can pick one that I would be most willing to lynch. A Danielle lynch is obviously not happening, so not her. I would be okay with GP, Speed, or Whiteflame.
I'm ok with GP, I'd need a lot more convincing for WF

I don't know how you lot see me say Earth is doc, then Earth claim doc, then he's FOS but nothing said about me. Basically.
Earth's ability to claim doc is completely independent of you (plus he can hint he's doc as scum...? it's unclear to me why you guessing his role means anything)
That said, I'm hard townreading this; scum has no reason to try to link themselves to someone who is on the chopping block

We have like 1.5 days left to do this (also I'm going to be traveling tomorrow so excuse my lack of activity then)
I was already town leaning SirAnon and I 100% buy this claim; particularly not immediately giving his character I find to be VERY town telling (the way mafia reveal their roles is in a kinda all-encompassing way since they spend such a long time thinking about it, so it doesn't make much sense that they wouldn't immediately reveal their character)
On Earth; I already mentioned that I think he's behaviorally scum, and doctor is an easily made fake claim for mafia; I think it could be the case that mafia doesn't have a strongman and then babysitter balances itself out, but two protective roles (especially one that could literally function as a bomb) seems quite overpowered to me, even if it has the potential downside of killing two town
I think this is a good enough reason to VTL Earth since behaviorally he is more scummy than GP and GP's role at least does check out with MC's

His claims are certainly plausible. But if he were scum, then he could avoid being called out by a possible tracker by just honestly saying that he visited Pie. Since mafia strongmen and roleblockers are so common, no one would think twice about it. Thus, this point doesn't provide much indication about his affiliation.

Ok so I see the contention that GP is town b/c his role is combines with MC's in a balancing way, my problem is there isn't enough on anyone else to lynch them. Particularly my #2 would be Earth but since he's doctor, it's probably not the smartest idea to lynch him (even though I share reserves with WF over the validity of his claim)
That2 and Siranon have been proposed but both have seemed to genuinely scumhunt to me. I'd lean siranon because he's been more inactive but that's the general gist of why I prefer GP

If MisterChris doesn't die what are next steps? Lynch Greyparrot, lynch someone else, vote NL or pressure for another claim? It's boring me to be the only one to move the game along today so I'll probs just wait to see what everyone says and check the thread once more later before I leave for the evening. Wylted, SirAnon and that2user should post more.
I see no reason not to continue with a GP lynch, nothing has changed besides the fact that we've basically town-confirmed one player (I know some people think it's "not town-confirming him" but I really can't see this going any other way with the exception of if he ends up being loved scum, which we will soon discover if so)

Based on the vote count, he clearly wasn't lynched by having 6 votes. That being said, I don't think we should end the test here. He could be Loved, which we could test with one more vote on him. At base, I think we should test that before we start peeling off.

No. That's a more insignificant part of it actually. The primary reason is the rationale I gave to Danielle:
I don't think theme analysis is a compelling reason to lynch someone, it's just too much of a shot in the dark and unless we can confirm the theme with a flip or two (which we haven't yet), it's too much of a risk
The fact that they have been so quick to push for a Barney lynch/OMGUS me, and the fact that their role as vanilla is suspect balance-wise doesn't help.
These are better reasons I think (I did notice what seemed to be a bit of an OMGUS), so I won't take them off the table but I still think they're town, for now I think GP is just a much better suspect

If I had to vote someone else for a claim it would either be Earth or MisterChris. @Speed you mentioned being a little sus of Earth as well. MC is kinda null but one thing he posted last DP did rub me the wrong way. Do you think it's worth pressuring Earth or MC instead of just lynching GP right now?
Ok so tbh it's been a while and GP is one of the few players I remember crystal clearly, I don't think he's generally this passive as town (hence me raging when he goes on the stupidest bandwagons months ago)
I still behaviorally read Earth as scum but I like the doc claim/justification, and for MC I only lightly sus him as scum based on the games I read up on him for; based on those I think GP is the correct choice; plus as we both mentioned, worst case scenario we lynch the hated townie, big deal
But I would like more thoughts from MC particularly sense with the Earth reveal I think I'll be pressuring you next DP
