For someone who accused another member of not being all that intelligent, ridiculing him in fact, damn dude!!! You really need to look in the fucking mirror. The Dunning Kruger Effect is strong with you, as is the obvious intellectual cowardice. 👏🏻 Bravo!! You win the 🥇 tonight with that superfluous whiny retort. 👏🏻 Bravo!!!

My reply wasn't “just read the book.”
This was my reply:
You can Google it and find the answers yourself. Also, Dinesh D’Souza wrote “End of Racism” in 1995, I think, that spells it all out. It’s a good read. Check it out.
Appears the failure in reading comprehension here is all on you, pal.
And what you claim to know of/about the man and citing it as The reason to have no desire to even look into the book (or any blips, feedback, cliff notes, etc) based on his current standing, politically or otherwise (as if politics have anything to do with race and black culture), is nothing short of a genetic fallacy. You said argue the ideas and not the man, yet you have done the latter.
And don’t even try to condescend me on reading comprehension whereas you have and continue to do with Rational_Madman. I won’t tolerate it. On that note, it appears it’s to YOU who is in a bad mood or off state of mind. Best check yourself before attempting to check others.
Yes, it would be best if you checked out of this thread. You clearly got off on the wrong foot and continued to stumble. Best try another day when you’re walking with the right foot and of sound mind.
Good night. Sir.

The book I referenced was published in 1995.
1995.
What year was all that nonsense you’re whining about?
You asked about the subject matter and I referenced a well researched book on point that is a great read.
Trying to discredit his book from 1995 with an act some two decades later is an inherent logical fallacy.
And if you have no interest in subjects other than drugs and drug policies…why did you even comment herein in the first place???

@<<<TWS1405_2>>>oh, shit. Who triggered wet Archie Bunker this time?
oh look, the hypocrite just did a “fanchick” move here. Go figure.
Also, you’re making a mountain out of an ant hill. I’ve lumped no one into nothing. Nowhere did I say “all” alphabet soup members believe in X Y and Z. That’s your assumption.
And I never said the Moroccan kid was a drug dealer, blah blah blah. That’s another asinine assumption on your part.
Stating the same facts that I cite other black people saying at the table of discussion no more makes me a racist than it does those blacks being white supremacists.
You fucking intellectual cowards are just too goddamn immature and impotent to handle truthful discussions on race and sexuality. You’re basically prudes where both subject matters are concerned.
You’re nothing but a wannabe intellectual, but you’re too emotionally immature to handle the responsibility.
PS. What the fuck does the 2020 election rambling bullshit you posted about have to do with the price of tea in China (ie - the OP)!?! 🤦♂️🙄🤦♂️
PSS. Your vitriolic banal retort proves my point. Thanks.

Fraudster? Oh please. Give me a break. So he spent some money outside the box that got him into hot water. None of which detracts from the research and fact-based truthfulness of a book written long before that spurious allegation.
As for the rest of your life, that’s all on you and you alone. None of which debunks the fact based truths well-researched and written of in the book referenced.
Need another reading suggestion? John McWhorter, Woke Racism. His previous works include Losing the Race and Winning the Race. How about Larry Elder, Stupid Black Men: How to play the race card and lose.

- "R/transguns users widely believe that transgender people are at a heightened risk of violent persecution and must be armed to defend themselves, according to the subreddit’s top posts. Their beliefs echo the rhetoric of trans activists, who frequently suggest transgender people are the victims of widespread violent persecution and are assaulted and killed because of their gender identity."

Its adherents preach a false gospel of salvation to vulnerable people who lack the reasoning or emotional capacity to resist. As part of their conversion, these converts are drawn away from their communities and brainwashed to hate their former selves—making them even more vulnerable to manipulation. By the end, they are so thoroughly deluded that they distrust everything and everyone and ultimately give up their lives to the cult."

It is readily apparent how a teenager struggling with severe or even common adolescent angst could be lured into such a group."
- "Perhaps transgenderism is better described as a form of “social contagion.” This term refers to “the spread of ideas, feelings and, some think, neuroses through a community or group by suggestion, gossip, imitation, etc.” The explosion of cases of gender dysphoria, previously an exceedingly rare condition, over the last few years has coincided with a meteoric increase in sympathetic attention to the topic in regular and social media—thus suggesting social contagion. Parents whose children “come out” as transgender when their friends do certainly agree with this explanation.""
- "Knowles pretends to claim transgenderism and transgender people are two different things, and he was careful to use the “ism.” He said, “There can be no middle way in dealing with transgenderism. It is all or nothing.”"
Michael Knowles is not wrong:
"The problem with transgenderism is that it isn't true. The problem with transgenderism is that it puts forward a delusional vision of human nature that denies the reality and importance of sexual difference and complementarity. The problem with transgenderism is that its acceptance at any level necessarily entails the complete destruction of women's bathrooms, women's sports, all of the specific rights and spaces that women currently enjoy. There can be no middle way in dealing with transgenderism. It is all or nothing. If transgenderism is true, if men really can become women, then it's true for everybody of all ages. If transgenderism is false as it is, if men really can't become women as they cannot, then it's false for everybody too. And if it's false, then we should not indulge it. Especially since that indulgence requires taking away the rights and customs of so many people. If it is false, then for the good of society and especially for the good of the poor people who have fallen prey to this confusion, transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely. The whole preposterous ideology at every level."

Shouldn't this type of topic be banned?
Why?
What part of the terms of DART did it violate?
Or is this yet again triggering you because it involves race? The black race, to be specific.
Even black people hate the so-called artwork and agreed it looks like a phallus.
Even some kin of Coretta Scott King hate the new $10 million sculpture just dedicated to her and her iconic civil-rights-leader husband in Boston — with a cousin claiming it “looks like a penis”.
If blacks don't like it, and they speak out against it, then why, according to YOU, should this topic be banned????????

- The peak of any debate performance is knowing enough about the subject to be able to argue both sides competently.
Do you believe that’s accurate?
Yes. That’s accurate.
Any good debater should know the opposing view and have rebuttals ready to fire off in anticipation of the other side putting forth the usual talking points.

Garbage.
Not all ad hominems are fallacious when demonstrably proven true.
Truth is an affirmative defense.
RM boasted and given his past behaviors and how he has handled himself in certain debates and forum discussions disproves his assertions made herein. That is factually accurate; therefore, what MPS said was NOT an insult.
You all need to be clearer and more consistent when dealing with your so-called enforcement of the CoC.
I know reading comprehension can be difficult for some, most even; but those in charge of making decisions that involve enforcment of the CoC need to do and be better at said reading comprehension (i.e., linguistics) than the average user. If you cannot, then you have no business being in charge of enforcement of anything here. Truth. Not an insult. Just an observable truth.
PS. You do not need to announce publicly you've sent a PM to someone giving them the Indiana Jones whip. It's unnecessary and unethical. Any enforcement exercised should remain private, not public.

You said thisbut someone who has not been proven guilty beyond a reasonable guilt cannot be deprived of rights.
Once again you fail to grasp the context in which IDOL provided that statement. It was clearly referring to a court hearing*, not what police do during the course of their duties.
*Rights are not things you have to take time out of your day to go to a courthouse to recover.
Helps if you include the entirety of the statement vs cherry picking the parts you think you can rebut, but always fail in that regard.

There have been new members since you left and returned, and there will continue to be more despite your subjective opinion.
If you don’t want to be the object of scorn, then do and be better.
It was rather naive of you to think you would not get any blowback from divulging personal details about yourself and your life that could be easily criticized given your past behavior at DART from which to put it into context with.
ADOL is right. This is a debate website where everyone begins with anonymity. However that anonymity can weaken when too much personal detail is willingly provided that can be used as cannon fodder against you (much of which in childish trolling ways like IWRA has done since he got here).
Just stick to the topics without the personal details, at least the more sensitive ones because clearly you open a can of worms (as you did here) if you do so.

Sir.Lancelot @Mps1213Debate doesn't change minds at any appreciable rate because the number of people committed to rationality as a core value is small and most of those have already come to the correct conclusions already.I let go of that delusion a long time ago.
Um, debate is t about changing anyone’s mind. It’s about who can provide the better, more well-grounded argument with more convincing fact based evidence to support the assertion. If minds are changed in the process, that’s just a bonus.

What your problem here is you are failing to put your past behavior that everyone here is well aware of into context with the feedback that you’ve been getting in this forum thread.
I too could have called you out for your very first sentence declaring yourself “born to debate,” which is patently false.
