• I have already pointed out that because homosexuality is commonplace  in nature, it is natural.  SInce species become more homosexual as they become more intelligent, homosexuality facilitates social interaction.  Gay genes are strongly associated with very fertile matrilineal lines across primate species- meaning that mothers that have a lot of babies also produce extra, non-parental individuals to help raise those babies.

That assumes gun control is the answer. It's also an emotional argument when you consider how rare those events actually are. They are horrible, but to look at those events and say we need such sweeping policy changes is absurd. If you want a solution to these problems, we should examine the data rather than having the fearful response of "see gun, ban gun."

It is the answer. What, are these kids going to start building explosives? Growing anthrax? The problem is the easily accessible easy-bake death machines.

And that is why gun bans is actually what to push for but it seems enough Americans will let their children be slaughtered, literally not metaphorically and not hyperbole, before daring to push for that... So, America is fucked.

Once again, today we confront the depths of evil and moral depravity.  A school shooter murdered six people in a school.  More may succumb to their injuries, yet.   It is too early to say at this time.  The fatalities include three adults and three children.  The school was a private Christian religious school.  The shooter was a 28-year old former student of the same school.  

There are some differences between this instance, and other prior instances.  For example, this shooter was a transitioning "male" (born female, in some state of "transition" to being male).   It is unclear whether that is relevant to the shooter's motive or intentions.  It might be.  It might not be.  I don't have enough information to know at this time.  

Immediate, reflexive calls for gun control are unhelpful.  As they always are.  Demands for broad, sweeping policy reform in the face of a highly publicized crisis  also do not add value.  This person would have passed any pre-purchase background check without difficulty.  

you say guns dont kill people.... well, some of them do. that's a fact.

This country has millions of people collecting disability, many of whom aren’t really disabled in any real way.

They simply have issues that allowed them to claim they can’t do what they used to do.

I once had a neighbor who was “disabled” from the county fire department. He was in his early 50s. He could paint his house. He could get on top of his RV to clean it. He could do just about everything except be a firefighter. He got a free ride after he fell down one day.
