Strawman argument, and no surprise IWRA started this thread.
I mean FFS, no one needs to open a new thread to [know] who it is when it comes to IWRA.
How about an actual stated position, in context, with one or two cut-n-pasted quotes from the article, or any article, you cherry pick them from that “might” substantiate said position when made…rather than this childishly fallacious strawman garbage you keep spamming DART’s Forum with.

Your analogy of the Muslim school board is a false equivalency fallacy.Greatest hits! Don’t forget straw man fallacy and banalAlso, the governor does NOT pass laws. He or she only agrees (signs) or disagrees (vetos) what the Legislature does in drafting and passing state law(s).The governor doesn’t pass laws, he signs laws into effect. He doesn’t approve laws, he simply agrees (passes) or doesn’t agree (doesn’t pass) laws sent to him. Lol
This contributes absolutely ZERO to this discussion.
STOP derailing threads with your trolling, IWRA.

Dr. Allen spoke with Jesse Waters very eloquently about what this education is intended to teach, historical truth, and NOT the agenda the left has to keep blacks in denialism about that truth.

This isn’t a document spelling out the specific material to be taught, all of its instructions are just as vague as that above.
The entirety of the cited document isn’t vague at all. As you said, it’s all in plain English and eloquently written with examples given for each instruction.
Your analogy of the Muslim school board is a false equivalency fallacy.
The historical fact remains that over the course of slavery in N. America, slaves did (and their offspring), in some instances, benefit from slavery that aided them in slavery and whence they became freemen (or born post slavery). It’s precisely why we got outstanding black people like Booker T Washington, Madam CJ Walker, WEB Du Bois, Frederick Douglas, Harriet Tubman, Soujornor Truth, so on and so forth.
The left’s (and your) denialism of historical truth is what is truly racist here.
Also, the governor does NOT pass laws. He or she only agrees (signs) or disagrees (vetos) what the Legislature does in drafting and passing state law(s).
You’re so way off on this subject, DR. Way off.

That’s one helluva strawman argument there. Total FUBAR misinterpretation of the historical facts surrounding that case.
It’s not that Anthony Johnson was the “first legal slave owner,” but rather he was the first to file a legal lawsuit against another for return of his slave. As such, he was the first slave owner to have a court of law affirm his status as a slave owner, as the master of the slave who ran off from His charge, and demanded his return in addition to fees paid to him by the one harboring the escaped slave. The court agreed with Mr. Johnson and the slave was returned to him.

A group of African Americans were on the Florida Department of Education that put this curriculum together.
One of the professors who was on that board made a response to Kamala Harris’ fallacious rant. (Scroll to 2:10 to listen to the professor’’s response correcting the nonsense twisting the reality of what the education sets out to establish)

Political paranoia nonsense. That right there is exactly what a white guilt liberal progressive would say. Or just a liberal progressive propagating the victimhood mentality. Absolutely pathetic. And racist too. Just another excuse in a litany of excuses to encourage the continued proliferation of the culture of victimhood. So… you don’t believe there are racists out there. Is that right?
Strawman fallacy. Never said or implied any such nonsense as your asserting via a loaded question.
What I said stands uncontested.
No one is trying to co-opt “merit” for any reason. It has meant exactly what it means since the word was created. No one race owns it.
In fact, if anyone has tried to twist the meaning of the term ‘merit,’ it’s been black people. Merit was and still is presently associated with “acting white.” A well known accusation derived from black culture in their revulsion for anything white people do. An accusation you just put forth in your quoted statements I used (well, actually the entirety of your ridiculous comment).
“Sure, white kids get made fun of for being nerds, too. But as Kimberly Norwood has deftly gotten across in her study of the “acting white” charge, it’s one thing to be called a nerd, another to be told you are disqualifying yourself from your race. That lends a particular sting.”

@Double_R
but when you have a faction of the country fighting to maintain white dominance over our society it is quite predictable that they would latch onto a term like merit as a sort of code to say white people are better and their accomplishments are the proof, despite how those accomplishments were attained.

This discussion is about the history of blacks in America, not the history of Jews in Nazi Germany. Stick to the topic you introduced.

There’s more, but that’s enough.
It’s just the woke white guilt liberals who see racism where it doesn’t exist, gets triggered for black people who aren’t even complaining about it. Malcolm X called it decades ago…white guilt liberals are the tried and true racists of this country.

Through the progressive PC crap, 6 dwarf actors and their stunt doubles are shut out of the SW remake. Why? Just to hire a “diverse” group of normal actors to check the SJW/PC boxes!?! Pure insanity. And no Prince Charming per the Hispanic actress playing SNOW WHITE! Gal Gadot is regretting her decision to be in this movie, that’s for sure. It’s all about feminism and making a girl boss out of the lead character. It will flop as all the other movies have that cost Disney $900M.
Hugh Grant is playing a dwarf role in the prequel Wonka. That’s just bonkers!!!

Disney can do whatever it wants with its properties. The fact that you overly concern yourself with these changes speaks more to your issues, than it does with Disney's.
Wrong. It’s about money and making it, not burning it via piss poor business decisions. That’s why many people are talking about it. Not just me.
Your asinine appeal to ridicule was duly noted, btw. Speaks more to your personal issues than it does with your ability to handle the truth.

You have heard of the DEI quotas for films if one wants any award nods, right?
Transformers checked a lot of those boxes with both it’s human character cast AND the voiceover cast. Not that I care a lick about the voiceover cast, as I’m not invested in either the Autobots, deceptions, terrorcons, or any other robot’s voice. I’m invested in the robot characters in and of themselves and how their role plays out.
This movie is set in 1994, and there just were not a lot of black female archaeologists/historians the. The first one to get a doctorate in it and African studies was Singleton in 1980.
But hey, I don’t see you commenting on the black and brown stereotypes of criminality and grand theft auto portrayed in the movie. 🤔 Even that annoyed me.

According to box office analyst Valliant Renegade, The Walt Disney Co. has faced significant losses, nearing $900 million, on its last eight studio releases. Titles like "The Little Mermaid" and "Guardians of the Galaxy" haven't been able to deliver the expected results, adding to Disney's economic woes. In fact, two of their recent films, "Strange World" and "Lightyear," were outright flops.
Valliant Renegade then provides a hypothetical that each of the films could have received a $125 million of pay one window value if they had been licensed to another streaming platform. Multiply that by eight and the economic opportunity loss is $1 billion.
Diversity & Inclusion” for its own sake isn’t enough.

Classic liberal retort when they know they are either wrong or up a very steep hill trying to defend their indefensible position(s).
You confuse passion for anger, rabidness, or whatever nonsensical banal bullshit you want to call it.
Men are well known to either fake putting a condom on or just flat out refusing to do it while coercing the woman to capitulate to their demands to sex. If he is that adamant for condomless sex, then he accepts the responsibility of the pregnancy, not the girl/woman. Period. That's why I suggest vasectomy, to avoid undesirable situations like this.
You didn't mention that in your initial retort. Not until now. Notwithstanding, I agree. Don't want to be saddled with a baby, cut the tubes. More men should do this, and the courts should force it upon the homeless and drug addicted.
To me, and by experience, domestic violence arises most of the time because of the money,
Money clearly causes corruption and most of all, violent personal crimes.
If you cannot handle a particular financial situation, don't put yourself in it.
