No way of grading so I did a full sweep of votes
My system of grading makes it the round closer than it is. If I was grading round by round, RM would have gotten completely swept and would have been destroyed. It was not even close.
----
RM #1 Just Got Paid: 2.7/10. Ewww, wtf is this. The annoying repetitive pop like tone that sounds like Dua Lipa is not what I like. This is very icky and it's repetitive, not hard beat drop is an annoyance to my ear. It is too vocal heavy and no base drop and nothing to wait for
PyschoBrain #1, My Heart: 5/10: This is OK. This isn't great, but it's not bad either. I think it is overall a pretty good beat but I wish there was more out of the song. Nothing standed out, and songs that usually label themselve as "style," tend to have a less quality
-----
RM #2 Vanic x Zella: 7.1/10. This song had a beautiful verse/pre chorus and would had received a 10/10, but the wait is dragged on and the beat drop is not satisfying at all for the drop. It was a good balance of musical harmony, but it just did not sit well with my ears.
PyschoBrain #2 Stranger Things Remix: 8/10. I overall think this song is good. I like the mellow beat and the beat drops are overall very satisfying and sounded good. Alan Walker doesn't usually give hard beat drops, so I am not a fan of him in that sense, but the song is mellow and does a quality job to my ears. The synth is smoothing
-----
RM #3: Trap Kuoga: 10/10: I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH HOLY SHIT! This is such a killer beat drop and a killer base. This is a beautiful tone of sound and vocals with great beat and flow. This is literally a great song and is one of the best trap songs. RM makes a huge comeback and jumping into to the spot.
PyschoBrain #3 NEEFEX-Chance: 2.5/10 Ugh what the fuck is that synth. It sounds like the track litteraly fucking broke while DJing and such so annoying and repetitive. And the vocals are so good here too, but it is outperformed by the dog shit synth, that sounds ass
---
RM #4: Vincent: I No Magician: 6.3/10: I think the beat is underwhelming and like, what? This is really just like a what song. It doesn't really flow great and the beat is decent until the beat drop, which is very good. It isn't bad, and definitely could see people liking it, but it really underwhelms and is confusing
PyschoBrain #4 Bad and Boujee Edit: 9.3/10. This song has a great buildup and one of the best beat drops I have ever seen in a remake. I infidelity did like it, but my problem is that usually, these trap to hard edm is usually garbo, but this song pulls it off, but their is still issues
-------
RM #5: Halogeon: 7.2/10 Bah, that was a weak ending. I thought it would be a great middle song, but it ends up being a really weak finish and in general ends up being weak
PyschoBrain #5: This is How We Ride: 8.6/10. This is a great anthem song. i really do like it's anthem feel and it's overall vibe to it

I disagree with this debate and even a little evidence would have pursuaded me to vote against
I judge this without bias at all to any side. I think RM wins this by a good amount. I don't think it was RM just destroying him. I think Ramshutu dug himself a big hole to start, even though his disses were better than RM's
ROUND 1
Ramshutu: The rhymes are very good and the disses are well critiqued. For example
"It’s hard to be original against the guy that everyone’s dissed.
He’s gunna trying to make this into a dick waving contest.
Sorry bro, waving? you’ll just be jiggling at best."
I think it is a great diss and there are many others. But the flow is so choppy and have breaks of fast to short, it makes it read like poetry than a rap. This isn't bad, but RM is good, so he will write in poetry and rap verses.
RM: His disses were actually decent in this, I think his flow is superb, so I will give him the win here
RM 1-0
ROUND 2
This is one of the best round from an overall view of things. I think Ram and RM both have expectional flow and wordplay here and I think it is a tie for here. I do think that the disses come down to a marrow coin flip in this scenario. I do like RM analogies a bit more in this debate, so my vote has to go to RM here. This was RM's best round overall
RM 2-0
ROUND 3
Ramshutu digs a hole for himself in here. Long to short, short short, long, the flow is literally all over the place for him. His disses are pretty good. But RM just shits himself here. The wordplay is hard to flow, it is going all over the place, and is structured pretty, ehh. It isn't great and his disses never really stand out at all. It is, average. But RM wins this
RM 3-0
ROUND 4
RM sweeps. The flow is pretty good here and the disses are very well thought out. Ramshutu doesn't come close
RM 4-0
FEEDBACK
Ram: Fix your flow. I thought it was choppy and didn't make a whole lot of sense. It was very hard to rap too, but if you improved that, you would've beaten RM by a mile
RM: There were many times you would have lost this debate if Ram did not save you. If that was your effort vs an improve Ram or even me, it would lose. Improve your wordplay
I vote CON for framing of the debate and the impacts of the debate.
It was a fairly good case debate overall and executed fairly well. I don't have ground to prefer any team here in this scenario. I will break down all of the advantages
Death and Moral: I don't vote on a moral right. FMPOV, 224K+ is not substantial enough to allow the judge to prefer the interp of the PRO to be favored in this debate. This is a paradigm of mine. I don't care about the moral right when it effects little. CON extends it well enough, but could be done better. It is a sufficent enough argument here
We LOST: Pro has a point here. I value his evidence over the CONs saying how the troops have died more than any other war and as of now, currently are drawing back. I believe we have lost more troops and more lifes, a costly toll on the military, which outweigh his argument saying soldiers still fight no matter what. This is a term very broad and unclear and the PRO does a sufficent enough job here to prefer args here.
I don't get a clear ballot for the rest.
My issue starts with the PRO and the Framework.
PRO assumes he implied the framework. However, I need more than "application." Tell me it straight up and tell it to my face what it is. CON says, they condeded framework, which I am more inclined to believe. Why should I fish through your impacts to find your framework? I shouldn't as a judge. The framework turns some of the case stuff, but not enough to allow me to vote CON yet.
The impact is the nail in the coffin. I weigh the economy impact over anything the PRO says in this debate. The oil prices will clearly spike and that is clearly a huge ripple effect on the economy because everyone knows about US and oil here. I need strong cards saying why this doesn't impact, and I am not persuaded by the PRO to vote.
This is a good statement by CON: "Also, weaning off nearly 1/5 of our oil supply will take time. If AQAP were able to shut down the strait, the economic impact would be felt almost immediately. "
There is no virtual answer here and no real args that make prefer it. Therefore I am inclined to prefer CON. Good debate
Forfeit in the debate results in all arguments going extended and no answer/rebuttals. I prefer PRO
Conduct outweighs all of CONs arguments due to conceding round 1 and clear rudeness throughout the rounds

FF is bad conduct
idek.
now this is a story all about how
my life got flipped turned upside down
and I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
I'll tell you how I become the prince of a town called Bel Air
in west Philadelphia born and raised
on the playground is where I spent most of my days
chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
and all shootin' some b ball outside of the school
when a couple of guys who were up to no good
started makin' trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mon scared
and said you're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air
I begged and pleaded with her day after day
but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way
she give me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket
put my walkman on and said I might as well kick it
first class yo this is bad
drinkin' orange juice out of a champagne glass
is this what the people of Bel-Air live like
hmmm this might be all right
but wait I hear they're prissy? and all that
is this the type of place that they should send this cool cat
I don't think so I'll see when I get there
I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air
well uh the plane landed and when I came out
there was a dude looked like a cop standin' there with my name out
I ain't tryin' to get arrested yet I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightening disapeared
I whistled for a cab and when it came near
the licensce plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror
if anything I could say that this cab was rare
but I thought man forget it yo homes to Bel-Air
I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
and I yelled to the cabbie yo homes smell ya later
looked at my kingdom I was finally there
to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air
FF w/ consent and notification so conduct will not go to CON

ROUND 1: Mharman takes the win here. I personally did not like the instrumental in RMs as it seemed to retro choppy while Ms seemed more dancable and can catch a groove at a club fmpov. The keyboards and the low drum and base drop by RM draws me away
1-0 Mharman
ROUND 2: Very tough one here. The best round fmpov and ears. I give to RM here. I like the vocals and the drum plus keys here. The vocals are key part to and I think Mharmans is very good beat wise, just needs more
1-1 Tie
ROUND 3: RM by a landslide. I did not like the sound and the synth of Mharmans and even dropped a dislike on the vid for it. RMs was average as it was vocal based too much, but it was nothing compared to Mharmans
2-1 RM
ROUND 4: RM takes it here. One of my favorites overall. It has a funky synth and overall is better in the beat drops and funkiness. This gives RM the win 3-1 so RM wins fmpov. So last one ill just say fuck it
3-1 RM(RM Wins)
ROUND 5: Mharman wins. RM is too lyrical base and the synth and base doesn't sound right. Too deep voice by the artist singing and doesn't rest easy
By a 3-2 vote, RM wins
PRO made arguments, but they were refuted better by CON in an organized manner. I believe his arguments are more stronger and have relevancy to them
S&G to CON. Various errors and missed periods cause me to vote CON. Run on sentences that drag on too much
Conduct to CON. Summoning the Duck God and being at peace with them is just bad logic
Full Forefeit
I like PROs taste in the rap style better than CONs, the song had a beat and where better than CONs by a minute. Conceding all args by CON leads me PRO. PROs categories outweigh
CON doesn't respond to rebuttals, PRO gets that win as his rebuttals vs his points are left refuted
PRO wins sources. Fmpov you clearly see PRO sources stating that the minimum wage barely pays now a days and is barely enough to afford a house. He uses specific, reliable, and key evidence for the topic while CON uses two sources that don't necessarily cover the full extensiveness of the topic and cover sources. I give args to PRO. PRO wins that 16-24 are not the majority minimum wage workers and these struggling adults need the money to work for. All CON says is that economy goes down because of minimum wage. PRO sources win the arguments, because I am more persuaded to vote for the struggling workers than help the economy, as PRO states to a certain extent.
PRO forfeits two rounds, missing and not answering responses, default CON victory royale
FF(Full forefeit)
Pro decided to barely respond to Con args near the end, causing me to outweigh any of the Pro advantages and contentions left unresponded
Pro surrenders all arguments and basically CON wins bye extending all of dropped case

RM does not follow the alliteration format where every word must be alliteration. He switches off causing to subjectively vote for Type as his alliteration was more straight forward and followed the rule. This is not a rap battle, and RM sets it up as a rap battle where barely anything alliterates, so PRO wins
3 POINTS for TypeOne not doing Rounds 1 and 2. TBH, I think Rational cleans sweeps on Round 3 too, causing me to put +1 vote on Rational. Types bars were really choppy and you could tell he was trying to get something out of two concessions. Not saying it was bad, in fact, some it did flow better than Rationals, but the choppy parts are WAY TOO choppy. The nail on the coffin for me is Round 3. He comes back with new hard hitting lines like, "Need to split your bars just so it seems you're better,
But every woman with taste knows my flow's that much wetter,
I don't need ty-
pe like I - got a fuckin' stut...stam-eye."
with a more consistent flow, I vote Rational
Conceded args, con wins
