First thing is first, quick lynching is stupid as shit and this meta needs to be stopped of quickly hopping on lynches. It takes time away for town to discuss such events.

Second, to answers Pie's question, no I do not.

Third, I have no results from any of the NP's that is significance

Wouldn't want Trump just because of the reputation he's built and the GOP sorta abandoning him over the capital storming. I think DeSantis would be bettter to unite the party. I also think DeSantis has proven himself as Florida's governor

I like Rubio's immigration stance because it reflects some of my believes

Why do I get so angry?
Anger is a dangerous and lethal emotion that can destroy your relationships with other people. Anger is an outburst of emotions due to annoyance, hostility due to past actions, etc. If anger is revealed, it causes people to judge you based on A) why you got angry and B) how angry you got as a whole. Anger is an emotion that needs to be controlled and not let out. There are many ways you can release anger into positive forms, such as meditation. I usually get angry when I am studying and don't understand something or when I get in an argument with someone. I take that angry energy and put it into meditation and calmness. I value lots of the Buddhist traditions of meditation and releasing emotions from materialistic things and focus on myself. I'm not a Buddhist, but I do believe Buddhist values have lowered my anger and made me calmer.

I'm not gonna sit here and lecture about controlling anger when I have failed to do so countless times. During COVID, my Asian friend was being harassed by a group of kids who would berate him continuously. I gave them a fair warning to knock it off. When they did it again, I then proceeded to charge at the kids with my friends. I'm a bigger framed person, 6 foot 3 and 250lbs, so getting a punch from someone who countlessly trains for sports and has martial art experience (I was an orange belt before I dropped). Needless to say after the incident I felt awful despite me not technically being wrong (the kid was constantly screaming racial slurs)

Anger leads to hate and when you realize you brew hate, you are flooded with guilt. I believe controlling anger is key to living a successful life because if you are able to be a calm and reasonable person 99% of the time, you will come off as more likeable than people who are always angry and picking fights. I had to drop a friend because he was so adamant about fighting the entire friend group that became a malignant toxin.

My advice is to ignore people. If you truly feel angry, regulate your breathing and keep at a steady pace. When you get home, partake in meditation and think about achieving goals for yourself and focusing on your mental wellness. I believe Buddhism is great for improving mental issues to clear ones mind

How about the differences between the Greek, Russian and Coptic Orthodox churches?  What would you say makes them distinct, within the Orthodox penumbra?
I don't have many Orthodox friends outside of the Greek Orthodox church beside a few, but I do have some who are Serbian. The key difference for them is that they technically celebrate Christmas on January 6th, but they adapted the Georgian calendars XMAS. Some minors differences with them are the saints they celebrate and how they read scriptures. That's the extent of my knowledge though

As an aside, I don't know many Greek Orthodox people who regularly practice.  I know a lot of Greeks that claim to be orthodox, but they're really more of a "go to church on Easter and Christmas" type
Tbh that seems to be how it's trending especially with COVID. I used to go much more than I used to go to but with COVID and the process of going to church being so dumb, I don't go as much as I would like to.

I know a lot of Greeks who don't follow this trend, but it could also be my sampling size overall being larger than yours

From a theological perspective as well, it seems to me that Catholics place a perverse level of emphasis on Mary.  Which the Orthodox church rejects, with a wholly different theory of original sin more properly mirroring the Protestant denominations.

This was another point I remembered. They place a huge significance on Mary and I believe in their cross they say Mary when they do the cross. I know Orthodoxians use the holy spirit

============================

I agree with a lot of your assessments. The Orthodox Church is how the church was originally practiced at the time and I think that's the beauty of it as a whole

What would you say are the major distinguishing factors between the Greek Orthodox church and the Catholic church?
The biggest I would say is the view of the Pope. In the Catholic church, the Pope is said to be the interpreter of the bible and has final say on what it means. Orthodox Christians have a leader, but he is a figure-head with no true power besides approving other bishops. Most of the power of the Orthodox Church comes from local Archdioceses who see over the church's function and general stuff. The true word of God comes from the bible itself, and not the Pope. It leaves a lot of room for interpretations with how you view the bible versus Catholicism. I believe that is what the ultimately the main difference is.

Orthodoxy also is the ORIGINAL practice of the church, meaning how it was originally supposed to be practiced before the different branches. They pride themselves a lot more on keeping a tradition that continues and with services that stick to how they were done back them versus condensing them

Why should a Holocaust survivor believe in God?
-->
@Sum1hugme
This is a great question to ask and I was actually curious about this myself. I had the honor to talk and interview a Holocaust survivor and this question was answered for me.

He stated, (not in exact quotes)

"I kept to my practice of religion because it gave me a sense of sanity in times where I felt nothing. If I were to abandon what I believe in, I would reassure the negative feelings of emptiness and loneliness. But with my faith and knowing that there could be something waiting for me at the end is what kept me from killing myself, knowing that one day I could see eternal heaven. Sure, I could blame god all I want for this event, and I even questioned why. But my faith kept me sane in a terrible times and I believe I would be in a worse position if it weren't for God."

To sum it up, he believed that religion and eternal life at the end gave him a sense of sanity in insane times. I can't speak for all victim, but I got to ask a victim themselves this question

Is Kamala Harris the best vice president in history?
Kamala Harris the definition of a hypocritical liar. I had no problem with a Biden presidency, be it I preferred Trump, but her wrap was egregiously hypocritical.

She incarcerated nearly 250k people due to marijuana charges but admitted herself to smoking weed. She covered up evidence for an innocent man looking to be sentenced. She may change the political landscape as she is the first female and POC to ever be a Vice President, but her reputation and hypocrisy does not make her the best

For those who do not know, Orthodox Easter is celebrated at a different day from American Easter, as Orthodoxians celebrate Easer using the Juliute Calendar while Americans use the Georgian calendar.

It is stupid to microanalyze a picture. We are not going to get any hints from it and we need to analyze things solely on behavior. If we waste a DP studying picture it will get us no where

Can't see Lunatic not being town. Could be that I don't know the mechanics of this role, but a role that only role confirms someone but no affiliation would be town most likely. Ik the argument is "yea it isn't affiliation indictive," but I think that would be too town sided to have such a role for scum.

I loved Naruto, but I wouldn't consider it starter because of the amount of episodes there is. I would recommend watching Naruto as a starter. No one (besides me) would watch Naruto for their first anime because it's pretty long

I argue that S1 was the weakest. It wasn't as bad, but I think S3 PT2 was peak AoT

I was gonna put Demon Slayer on there, but the animation is beautiful in Demon Slayer, I think it sets a high bar for animation. I definitely think it's a starter show Demon Slayer. but later on.

I agree with your MHA analysis. The only reason I added it is because it's baseline shonen that doesn't add anything unique. It's sort of a baseline representation of shonen, and I feel like that can help people appreciate other shonen more.

I also think MHA is so baseline and at time repetitive (the war arc was unique). Like every Shonen has that big war arc. I ultimately just found it predictable at time from watching other Shonen since it's so baseline. It does Shonen right, but doesn't add anything unique to it. That's why I have it as a great starter

The war is very well done overall and the time skip is handled well, but I still think AoT has better characters overall, a more interesting world, and I think in general, better storytelling. MHA is good, but I don't think it takes an extra step to be great versus AoT

I accept that the verdict that's been reached, is the verdict that's been reached.
Doesn't mean I 'agree with it, but you won't find me rioting.

I think the verdict is fair. I could see how people could say second degree murder but I didn't see it.

I think you might be more mad at the events leading up to such events. The riots, the whole charity to the family raising that much money for no reason, the rise of more aggressive demeanors toward cops. I fully understand that and agree with you.

I think the case itself needs to be based on the case itself, not other factors. I think the cop should've been charged looking at things straightly from the case

A large man, career criminal, robber , drug addict on illegal drugs at time of arrest, with heart problems, who once threatened a pregnant woman, get's caught counterfeiting a bill, resists the police, has a panic attack and dies.
I am still baffled that this man got a flag draped over his coffin when some soldiers don't even get that. I understand he shouldn't have died and he was trying to reform his life, but the fact he is being treated as a saint to me is abhorring

Supa's Anime Guidebook
As an anime fan, I'd like to share some of my guidebooks on anime and what I would recommend. I will be giving lists of best starter for shonen and romance (starter meaning shows that are quality, but also don't set the bar too high) and then will be giving my must watch and should watch, while also stating which shows to avoid. The difference between a should watch is that the series itself is a series that isn't great IMO, but you should definitely form your own opinions about.

Starter Shonen
A starter show is a show that sets a bar for what to expect in a certain category. It isn't amazing so the bar is too high, but it is not a bad show

My Hero Academia
Verdict: 7.3/10

My Hero Academia is one of the best Shonen starters. For one, it has a lot of the tropes that you typical see in Shonen series that get you interested in the show without a doubt. There are definitely arcs that executed well and there are some great moments in MHA, and I think while it is cardboard, I think it is the best for new people

Starter Romance

Toradora!
Verdict: 7.6/10

Toradora sets up the basis of some of the romance aspect well. It isn't the best by any means, but there are some great moments in Toradora. I'm still watching it, but it is definitely a great start romance.

Must Watch

Steins;Gate
Verdict: 9.8/10

Steins;Gate is a masterpiece without a doubt. It's tackling of time travel and it's intriguing, likeable, and fun characters make this show entertaining. I also think the plot is amazingly executed and overall does really well at creating twists, moving the plot forward, and being an interesting story

Attack on Titan
Verdict: 9.3/10

Attack on Titan is a must watch. It is the most popular series right now and for a great reason. It's dramatic fight scenes, it's plot twists, it's epic fights, it's concept that is unique, and the dialogue of each character, make this one of the best series' out right now. While I do think S1 was slower paced, I think it picks up quickly for a thrilling show with great characters

Bunny Girl Senpai
Verdict: 8.6/10

BGS is a great romcom that tackles many of the issues that plague us in an unique way. There are likeable characters, interesting plots, and very great interactions of characters that really move you

Should Watch (anime's that I may/may not have liked but you should watch to formulate your own opinion)

ReZero
Verdict: 8.5/10

ReZero is Isekai done right. While I found this show annoying for some parts, the show picks up later on and becomes an interesting character dive exploring characters in interesting ways and lights, also leaving behind a hint of mystery. I think it's great series to watch, but the criticism's I hear are valid as well

Fairy Tail
Verdict: 5.8/10

I thought Fairy Tail was stale at times with repetitive plots and very little character development and a poorly executed plot. However, I enjoyed the bond each character had, the extreme likeability of each characters, some of the arc, and the feeling of brotherhood. I thought this anime was ehhh, but the points for it's favor are valid.

Quintessential Quintuplets
Verdict: 7.3/10

Quints take some time to develop the characters. The plot itself is pretty cardboard harem, but the character develop of the girls and the quirks of each are funny and really enjoyable. I do think the animation is worse in S2, but this show I think is good at what it does. However, this is a harem genre and is somewhat of an acquired taste and also the criticisms of this show are valid

AVOID THESE

Highschool DxD
Verdict: 7.4/10

Make no mistake, I think this series is great and unique for the harem genre, but this show has nudity and lots of sexual references. It is a 17+ show. This really does not appeal to newer anime fans who have a fresh taste and may not enjoy that type of stuff in their shows. It is perfectly OK and I WOULD recommend this once you grow older and more diverse in anime, but this series is not for starters

Sword Art Online
Verdict: 3/10

Make no mistake. This show is popular, but it isn't good. The main characters are dull, the plot is poorly executed, arcs are repetitive, no power system. There are better isekai's to watch

Gintama
Verdict: Haven't Watched

Veteran anime watchers should watch this. It has a lot of anime references and jokes only seasoned vets can understand and won't cater to newer audiences such as yourselves. I haven't even watched it yet, and I was told to wait to watch it

With this guide, I hope this can help you on your anime journey.
