Honestly, this going to sound so dumb and blatantly horrible but I honestly just had a brainfart. I also didn’t think it was enough of a big deal to try and correct and honestly thought it would go unnoticed. Sounds really bad but I believe I did those posts during work or right before and this week has been hectic so I honestly didn’t really care enough. Big mistake but the short sword confusing with the wiki argument and all that shit is 100% real and the correction Mharman made did happen

My item was listed as Short Sword, which is why I thought it was maybe a variation. I realized it wasn’t by looking at the item when I googled it and the wiki came up as one word which I why I said item. I was referencing my PM the whole time and literally had 0 clue it’s a category

I can’t do anything about it. It’s a matter of unconfirmability. I asked the mod and he gave me a direct response versus Mikal and according to Mikal he said they can give completely different responses. I don’t know how we even have a case at this point because it’s clear as day there is some form of miscommunication from a mod perspective that I literally have no control over. I’ve already accepted I’m going to be mislynches but going back and forth with the same point with Pie, someone who I all in honestly scum read does 0% for the town

I hate 532. I understand that bussing has gotten mafia a lot of wins recently but to have a hard bus on each other as scum buddies in DP1 is not only insanely risky, but no logical sense at all. Even if I am looking at it from Pie's lense. At most you have 1 is scum and a 1v1 trade. This just feels extremely gun hoe and eager to stir mislynches, and I kinda have an FoS on Pie

Don’t know how to read Skep. I think he has some valid analysis and deeply understanding things but I have 0 experience playing mafia with him so I don’t know his meta or if that’s normal so I still say bull but I’m probably gonna keep options open and be weary of him

The whole 200+ pages was about how Mikal got referenced a wiki article and how it was different from my role PM. It’s a 14 person game. I don’t necessarily think Savant is lying but a bit FoS. I do think the existence of 2 vanillas is absolutely feasible in this scenario with this amount of people, but no matter what it’s still a FoS. I also didn’t like that he lead with vanilla rather than claiming the full role. It’s one of the first things he sees when reads and then claims a vanilla. Interesting

Here is the breakdown of what happened

At first I stated that my item wasn’t a subset but could be because it was 2 words “Short Sword

Then I got mine clarified when I asked if it was just a shortsword, which the mod replied Yes it is and I made a mistake in the role. That’s when I saw it was an item with multiple subsets

So I guess it’s a category? I don’t even know tbh this fucking sucks cuz I really can’t defend myself from constant shifting at this point and it fucking sucks I can’t get clarification at all. Mine said you are an item so I don’t know what’s to tell you. My pm you said you are an item that comes in multiple sets. If that’s really the point of a mislynch idgaf cuz playing and constantly bickering for something out of control is useless and frankily fucking stupid

Normally I would 100% agree and back tracking would be 100% scummy. But please reference my original response where I claimed it did not have a category. I was clarifying simply that mine is a sole item rather than a category

Last game Casey thought I scum slipped because of how I stated my role a bit. I just see no correlation to what you are saying. I think you are just jumping the gun on something that is not a scum slip. I also can’t do anything about having a mod fuck up a PM wording and trying to get it clarified. Pouncing on these just seems exploitative as a whole and feels scummy

Also I feel like Casey’s reads and everything lean town. Even when they were busy with work there was substantive effort to contribute so I feel like they have a slight town read to them

You literally modded a game where I “scumslipped” and was town. This is genuinely pushing an agenda. I think you have gotten a bit more aggressive for something that seemingly everyone understood besides yourself. So I think you are trying to stir up a mislynch or draw attention so the focus can shift off you

Tbh call this omgus all you want but feel like Luna is trying to divert attention away from the pressure he’s facing from Mikal and trying to deflect it to someone else. He seemed extremely snappy to call that a “scum slip” and jump on it but I’ve seen in other games when that happened he didn’t jump as soon as possible. Slight fos kn that alone
