I think you asked what denomination in some other thread but I was busy.

I am seeking to convert to Catholicism. If Christianity is true than so is Catholicism and if Catholicism is false so is Christianity. It's also maybe the only denomination that doesn't force you to shut off your brain. 

It's rough though. I got a son and a LTR that I would have to drag into it or with the LTR I would have to get rid of her if she didn't come on board. 

I wouldn't half ass anything so I couldn't live in sin while becoming Catholic  if something is a part of Catholicism  than I am not going to cherry pick things not that there isn't room for different opinions but if there is not room than I will adopt that opinion so no conversion until I can make sure I don't screw it up.

So yeah obviously America is far from perfect but it seems to have dodged some of these attacks on freedom that are rampant in other parts of the world. 

Now I do wonder if the woke shit is really an American thing and then it just gets watered down and spread to other parts of the globe where world leaders are intuitively kind of going "well Americans are literally worshipping Muslims right now we should import too many for them to melt into our society and though their values clash with ours we definitely want to encourage them to take over our politics"

So to be fair there is the argument that America has spread its shit elsewhere while being able to dodge its own shit better than others.

Which is basically true. No body else who is electable would be able to. While yes we could put a different centrist populist in there, they likely wouldn't be able to appeal to one side of the aisle so much so both sides of the establishment would throttle them.

Maybe you can suggest a better system. The founders had a classical education, enlightenment values and were leading people descended from those escaping religious persecution. 

I'd suggest studying their works too figure out what they were aiming for before dismantling the most free and prosperous country on the planet's institutions or trying to create something superior

I also have criticized Israel for a tech ology they use that allows them to spy on virtually any cellphone and the technology is sold to other governments. For example they sold the technology o the Mexican government who has allowed the cartels to use it on occasion to track their enemies. So Israel can be very sloppy with intelligence. 

We also developed a technology that could take down nuclear facilities and Israel turned the technology into a worm which allowed it to be discovered sooner than it would have. If the technology was hidden longer it had the potential to end every nuclear site on the planet and make a safer globe but Israel created a worm. 

So they need to actually step up their game as allies but they are worthy allies. 

I don't think the Jews are like a single cohesive unit either. Ayn Rand is a Jew for example and she is cool but Karl Marx is a Jew and he is evil. 

I support the Jewish people and the state of Israel and anyone saying any different is just misinformed.

The 7 Noahide laws are considerably easier to follow than the laws Jews accept

It's kind of designed this way.  Both parties were kind of scared of power for a while so the judges took it and now the executive branch is the most motivated. Maybe in a few years the the Senate will be the most motivated. I know libertarians typically think the branches exist to stop each other and make no movement but it's got this in built flexibility and personally I think the executive branch should weild all the power it can, while it can and that since the leader of that branch is populist he really is the first of the people

If wealthy people betray America by advocating for things that violate the bill of rights meaning my right to say what I want, have a gun and a right to absolute privacy it if those billionaires are pro things that destroy the country such as a near open border policy or diluting the work pool for high paying tech jobs then I would oppose those actions
