The american soldiers were directed to do things like ignore afghan boys being raped by afghan soldiers. I wonder why the taliban didn't respect the afghan government.

I can't help but to notice that CNN and fox are both starting with the presuppositions. One side claims the fallout was inevitable regardless of whether Trump or biden pulled out, while the other side blaming biden because he pulled out during "fighting season" instead of doing it in May.

If they reject authoritarianism and the government, why do most want government run healthcare and free college? That sounds pretty authoritarian right?Uh... not really, no
It would be. The implementation of it would cause authoritarian measures to be taken.

Libertarians: Want the government out of everything, whether it is social or economic.
That isn't even remotely true. Most libertarians still believe in having a standing police force, army and legislators.

Thinking you've reasoned correctly is not the same as reasoning correctly. Take the christians as an example. Just because someone thinks they have a good reason doesn't mean they do. An act is only truly morally praiseworthy if it's the right thing and properly motivated

On April 14, 1865, John Wilkes Booth became the first person to assassinate an American president when he shot and killed Abraham Lincoln in his box at Ford's Theater in Washington. ... A supporter of slavery, Booth believed that Lincoln was determined to overthrow the Constitution and to destroy his beloved South. Now that is a White Supremacist.
Why would supporting slavery make you a racist? Do you not understand the economic benefits of having slaves?

Odd caucasians are almost never the target of ethnic cleansing so I don't know who is saying this.
Their really isn't a typical type of victim, but usually these genocides start with things like
"Kill all whites"
"Kill all jews"
"Kill everyone in the hutu tribe"
"Eat the rich"
Etc.
The people saying these things are on twitter. Just log on and friend the first ten random accounts you see and scroll through their feeds. These are your typical democrats you are seeing.

So stop insulting my intelligence by even suggesting there's a valid point in the agenda of the ku klux klan and age of consent abolitionists. Neither of your causes should see the light of day.
You are an idiot, I have never said the age of consent should be lowered.
You are an idiot for thinking that nobody you disagrees with has any valid points.
I welcome criticism of me, but if you keep saying shit like I sympathize with pedophiles, I am going to ask the mods to intervene. Several people read the thread I was banned for which merely involves.me claiming to be chris Hanson, and the only controversial debates about anything pedophilia related was one about making the FBI's database openly viewable, which I argued would protect children by solving cold cases as well as destroying the monetary incentive to create CP.
I think I might have also argued before that pedophiles are mentally ill, and should be treated, and not feel threatened by seeking help, which protects children as well.
I want you to stop spreading these false rumors. If you are going to make a claim about me, link something to back up the claim.

You're assuming the consequences constitute the morality, but you can't justify that.
It's literally the only thing that matters or can be measured. We don't have telepathy.
You're just imposing that motive. I never said that she enjoyed doing it, only that she did it because she thought it was the right thing to do. She could be inclined to not give, but feel compelled by her respect for her moral principles. So you're attacking a straw man.
I'm sure it feels good in some way to give into that altruistic compulsion. Even if it is just a relief from the feeling of needing to do what is compelled. Just examine whether you feel good giving or not? Others likely are not too different from yourself.
I didn't say that any motive is good. Just that the morality, good or bad, lies in the motive. In order for something to be morally praiseworthy, it must be the right thing and done for the right reason. Hitler did the wrong thing for the wrong reason.
The key words here are the ones bolded, basically conceding to the point I made. Right reason is something we all think we have. All politicians want to make the world a better place. All evil dictators do what they do, because their motive is to make the world a better place. The Mongolian killing fields happened because people thought they were making the world a better place. Motives don't matter. Having good motives is why we have so much tragedy.
If your enemy puts sugar in your coffee by accident intending to poison you...Then they have committed a morally wrong act....your friend putting poison in your coffee because she tried to help you have sweet coffee.Your friend has not committed a morally wrong action, because they did not intend kill you. This would be an amoral action.
Your are just proselytizing about your philosophy being right at this point. The world is a better place when people do things like, think through the consequences of their actions they feel compelled by altruism to do. I would certainly find an enemy sweetening my coffee, preferable to a reckless friend who wants to feel good about herself, by recklessly just doing whatever she feels is good.

@Sum1hugme
The morality lies in the motivation for action. Suppose dick and Jane are walking from opposite ends of the sidewalk, and Im between them is a beggar. They both give $1 as they pass by, so assume the consequences are equal. Jane gives because she thinks it's the right thing to do. Dick gives because he wants Jane to notice him. Are their actions equally morally praiseworthy?
It's morally equal. Let's assume that giving to a pan handler does not contribute to him maintaining his addiction, and the act does actually help him.
Both have caused the same result. Both individuals acted selfishly here as well. Jane feels good doing what she considers the right thing, so she gave to feel good about herself, and dick gave for the selfish reason of thinking it would somehow get him laid.
If we go by your definition of good, than people like Hitler could be called good, because he thought his actions were making the world a better place. Ted Kazynsky mailed people bombs, but his motives to stop the negative effects of industrialization were pure.
Motive doesn't matter. I think this is why liberals will create social welfare programs. They think their motive is good enough and ignore the fact those policies cause more people to suffer in poverty.
Put it this way. If your enemy puts sugar in your coffee by accident intending to poison you, it is better than your friend putting poison in your coffee because she tried to help you have sweet coffee.
I just listened to a 911 call of a woman who slipped a monkey a sedative thinking she was calming him down, the effect from the sedative was different in monkeys, so it literally ripped her friends face off. The world is being destroyed by good intentions, because people want to feel like they are good people, instead of actually doing good things.

when I used to perform well, I would spend every waking minute on podcasts, when at working, reading articles at every possible moment of downtime and responses to any arguments I have thought of, so I could anticipate responses. Also I did not start researching arguments until I came up with an interesting title to a debate.
If you Don't want to spend a lot of time researching, start specializing in one subject that you enjoy. Start with a birds eye view generality of the subject. Then go into premises you struggle with.
Your strategy on debates should be to take subjects you feel like you will struggle hard to win, so that way you can focus on constant improvement. You can't control wins or losses, but you can control how well you debate.

maybe Newt Gingrich made it a thing when conservatives were losing office, but it isn't right wingers pushing for it now. They are merely responding.
You'd have to be blind to not see companies coming out and pushing for feminism, pro homosexuality and black nationalist positions disguised as calls for racial harmony.
Created:
You fight racism by proving racist ideology is wrong. For example if I say that blacks are 13% if the population but commit 50% of the violent crime i. The United States, than the correct response is not to run these arguments into hiding, so they are whispered about and go unopposed, making them stronger.
The correct response is to address them. For example in the above statement if stated by a racist, and not just somebody with an uncomfortable question, you can perhaps point out the history of racism in the United States, which has shock waves that we see the impact of until today.
Maybe you could point out that poverty is a huge contributor to crime and more predictive of criminal behavior than race (if true).
These are rebuttals that won't be seen though, if somebody is only being racist in PMs, because we have banned people from talking about controversial subjects, or have banned people for expressing the wrong opinion.

Not at all. Let's recall that your subject (as always) was Jews: "why are the jews afraid to answer for themselves and have to arrest people who criticize them?"
Why are Jews afraid? Why do Jews arrest their critics (you ask that twice)?
Correct. They arrest by proxy in this case.
Now you change the subject to the "systemic pro-Semitism in French Law" but your predicate no longer matches. Are you accusing the legal system of being afraid?
Are you trolling me or are you actually this dense? The jews who advocated for laws against criticizing them or interpretation of laws in that regard fear criticism, otherwise they wouldn't push to outlaw it.
You can't really fault the Jews for encouraging police protection, everybody wants to be protected by the police and panders accordingly. Cops around here, for example, get free coffee pretty much anywhere they go.
Not protection from criticism. I would have a major issue if "pro white" groups were pushing to use police to stop any criticism.
