I do think I have a talent for finding horny females though.

I'm completely worse in a relationship tbh. And the girls are as bad. I got some funny stories about my most recent ex actually, although maybe they're a bit explicit. Needless to say, bitch was constantly rocking the bed while I was trying to do my own thing next to her. She'd fucking show me too sometimes, if on her period, like a child happy with a finger painting. One day she blocked the sink after washing her hands, pushed down a broken stopper absentmindedly, and came crying to me about her housemates. Good enough for her. As if I was fixing that.

I guess the real big threat in AI is military application though. I dunno how that shapes out either.

This is one of the coolest lectures I've ever watched on AI, language, the mind, whatever. There are things about the human mind we could build for sure, and even language and just the stuff of thoughts is all such a mechanical thing once you really study it, but all the rest is nonsense talk. It's just mind boggling shit tbh. I'm after hurting my brain thinking about AI and consciousness and singularities, thank you.

Super cool and funny post.

I don't believe a word of this stuff either. Elon Musk is just weird and Stephen Hawking's fearmongering was the death rattle of a cyborg. AI is cool and I plan to make a career of it actually, but yeah I don't see it.

But pay for it.

Actually, mixed teams tag rugby is good fun and a great social game.

I as a fairly average male am about on par with the female world records in powerlifting for my weight class. Think about that. Men and women should not be playing sports together.

Not an excerpt, but an essay: https://drszellitessays.wordpress.com/2013/06/05/kafkas-metamorphosis/
Kafka's Metamorphosis is a very famous story and a very funny one. I always knew what it was about, but this is the first good write-up I've ever found on it. I read Nabokov's interpretation years ago and I'm sure it was complete nonsense. Or too secretive about it all perhaps, I'm not sure. Either way, I went years without. I hope you enjoy.
I couldn’t read it for its perversity. The human mind isn’t complicated enough.–Albert Einstein, after returning a Kafka novel loaned to him by Thomas Mann.

The lesson from Jimmy Carter is cool and deep no doubt. But a free woman will solve problems of an economics, women are not some untapped well of vital instinct or something lol.

but I think women are instinctively, collectively recognizing the immediate and global need to reduce human overpopulation.
I mean this is fun and interesting but hardly. It's surely just greater opportunity, greater freedom, less prejudice. Instagram, facebook, tinder etc. have also all changed the shape of human relations for sure.
What about global warming denial then? Where's the instinctive, collective recognition of immediate and global need there?

Your wife was the real breadwinner in your house, if I remember correctly. I'd been thinking you sounded a little extra angry these days, actually.

What business have you knowing how many men cut their penises off can you please tell me?

That's hardcore dude. Meth never made it to my country really.

@Reece101
My younger, wilder days I'd finish work on a Friday up the country and out into the car for the road home, 4 hour drive or so. I'd open down every window and play Ride of the Valkyries on repeat all the way, and wouldn't dip below 130 mph too often. Then a wild weekend too of course.
Not saying I wasn't a lunatic, but fond memories.
So are you a big fan of amphetamines too as well as all this electronic music?

Communists have the big penises btw. Capitalists are compensating obviously.

Can you imagine chopping off your penis? Maybe there's something of the difference between capitalists and communists in that.

@Theweakeredge
That is not any sort of meaningful answer. I want some deep heart and soul shit.
What makes a dude want to chop off his penis and use opposite sex bathrooms these days?

And wrong btw. Necessity was always a better word. It's an essentialism you have to get at, I think. Fear's there a little bit, sure.

What the fuck. Chicks dig communism must be.

I do not think it matters to god if I think he's some sort of transformer. Still, I'm probably half Christian, or thereabouts. I listened to Paradise Lost last summer on audiobook. I don't like to admit I believe in god actually, and I'll lie about it often. I'll tell any girl I'm an atheist in order to bed her, I'll humour the fuck out of astrology, too, anti-vax even a couple of times. I'm not sure if that matters, but it's like not believing in a buddy or something, there's a tingling guilt there only. Day or two in hell, tops. Raiders of the Lost Ark was a cool Indiana Jones movie. Nearly sent that as Indian. Indian Jones. That's a completely different movie.

Who says you have to drink excessively? There's fun in that too though, I might add. Stories to be made, I spent a night laughing at old stories tonight in fact. You'll never have that much fun with Jesus. Or maybe you might, I'll hold out hope he's a bit of a Jack the Lad, too. But not drinking at all sounds a bit daft, right. I love tipsy, to be honest. There's nothing as lovely as a few pints, few Guinnesses. I googled that word another ten times, I'll be honest. A few cream liqueurs, and I right-clicked that one. But nothing as nice. And to sit there warm and dozy and be thoroughly amused by yourself. Well, what's your problem, old man?
Created:
I have no argument at current for either of these, although I do fancy the individualism one. I am quite drunk, to be honest. I would like to offer instead the argument that men never actually fought lions in the Colosseum. (I should warn, I googled that word ten times and just couldn't figure it out, before finally deciding to just right click it.) But the reason is simple. If men fought lions then, how come there is not one single video on youtube of a man fighting a lion today? Not one. Surely there would be even one. Now I know my argument is flawed from the beginning, there's a hole or two I could poke in it for sure, even drunk as I am. I've not much researched this argument even; if you would like to provide a video of a man fighting a lion, I would only be too happy to be refuted. But how come there is not one video of a man fighting a lion? I've never seen one. You'd think I would have. I'm going to offer up now a topic of "a man should fight a lion" for the next round of this, if we do get another round of this. Even though I have not made an argument supporting anything in the OP, I will invite you to upvote this argument all the same, and encourage you to upvote this proposed topic. I might try tomorrow with the individualism one.

Seriously, first of all, you changed harm to pleasure there, and it's barely workable if we're deciding on who should get pleasure. Second, that's just not the reason at all utilitarianism is bullshit.
The whole debate in utilitarianism revolves around social worth, a greater good in individual people. The philosophy would absolutely having us weighing the worth of individual people.

Peter Singer is also like the world's leading crackpot and there's something of euthanasia or eugenics in effective altruism. It really is some barmy shit.

Did you know that Christopher Nolan's Batman movies are actually all a critique of utilitarianism? Ra's al Ghul trying to crash a train into Gotham City for a quick little proof, but even Heath Ledger's Joker and Harvey Two-Face are victims of trolley problem thinking. Utilitarianism is just bunk af tbh. There's something of the game of Russian roulette in it, even. Strange philosophy.

@Theweakeredge
One person being harmed does not always equal another singular person being harmed, in fact, in most instances it doesn't. Utilitarians seem to forget that
No they don't. In fact, the entire philosophy rests on it.

Topic: The film "Whiplash" had a happy ending
Funnily, I made the argument on DDO a long time ago that this movie was all one big analogy for masturbation. I never thought of the whole "happy ending" part, but I don't doubt it has one.
Found this. The editing kinda ruins it a bit, but man that was a sweaty movie.

Venezuela is a shit country. It could run a surplus tomorrow if it wanted. People would die, though.
Deficits mean very little except for how production, taxation, and spending are related relative to one another
I can agree to this.

@bmdrocks21
Any system can run a deficit, but I’d argue that more capitalist ones (ie less welfare) are more likely to run surpluses
What's the point of a surplus when your people are hungry?
