I said in this thread that most rioters were black. Based on all video evidence I have seen, that is the conclusion I came to. Perhaps there is undocumented mass white rioting that I am unaware of.

When you have race riots like you have now, white people decide they don't want to be randomly lynched in the street or have their businesses destroyed. They leave and take their capital and jobs with them. This is "white flight".
Not an expert on gentrification, but it is essentially them coming back to cities and that raises property values and quality by demanding better real estate, then people complain things are too expensive.
No winning. Don't know where we are supposed to go.
I could also point out the examples of Rhodesia, the Ivory Coast, Detroit, among others.

If you are an American of European descent (by America, I mean North and South America), then you are here because your ancestors stole the land and killed most of the individuals on it.
We did what tribes were doing to each other for generations. We were just more successful at it.

There is substantial evidence that one's ability to learn new languages decreases with age. Thus, those who are forced to become fluent in English will inevitably be unable to learn it to nearly the same degree as those who speak English as their first language. This can result in those people facing many obstacles in a society where they are expected to only speak English, which greatly reduces their potential to contribute to society. This negatively impacts the economy, which then places a greater burden on the average taxpayer.
And your solution is to.... what? Force Americans to know five different languages to accommodate foreigners? Let them speak a language no one understands? I'd much rather have all of them learn one more so we can all understand each other. They, as people with the privilege of coming here, have that duty. :^)
America was, is, and will most likely always be a nation of immigrants. These immigrants bring with them their unique cultures, stories, and practical wisdom with their languages, which in turn makes America more diverse as a whole. Diversity is not a weakness, but instead a glorious strength. If everyone is forced to learn English, then these shared experiences get lost amongst children of immigrants (more so than it already is), especially if they are simultaneously discouraged from speaking their native tongue. This has a profound negative effect on the nation as a whole, as once they lose their cultural connections to their ancestors, we lose out on them too.
We were never really a nation of constant immigration until the 1965 Hart-Cellar Act.
We had an occasional big flow and then cut it off until they assimilated. You will see this before and after the Ellis Island immigration.
Diversity is a weakness. People with huge differences living together never works. Imagine having a wife with whom you have nothing in common. How do you expect that marriage to last? That is how you get Balkan states, which is honestly where we are headed. Look at these race riots as a preview of that.
And those Ellis Island immigrants? They enthusiastically learned English. We didn't have a social safety net to bail them out for not learning English like we do with today's immigrants.
Neither of those were good reasons not to force immigrants to be able to understand the people of the land they consciously chose to immigrate to. Being harder to learn the language isn't a reason to give them a pass- either they work harder or they aren't someone worth letting in the country. And as for them preserving their culture by not being forced to learn English, you are proving that they are disrupting our country by causing subcultures to pop up. Imagine going into an area of YOUR country and you go to Walmart and none of them speak English and you can't accomplish any type of exchange. Ridiculous.

Because being able to communicate with other Americans is the only way you can have a healthy society. How can you get along with people if you cannot understand them?
And on the economic side, people who can’t speak English are much less marketable, meaning they are much more likely to go on welfare. That then affects the general taxpayer.
Two pretty decent reasons to force fluency. Immigrants do currently have some language requirements, but they aren’t very strict at all.

You don’t necessarily have to remove the people to make a homogeneous society. Putting an emphasis on tradition and patriotism in schooling and naturalization to make sure people conform is a perfectly peaceful way of accomplishing it.
A melting pot assumes people conform by respecting and promotIng our traditional American ideals in the Bill of Rights, learn our language (English), and appreciate our heritage.
Multicultural lefties are trying to create a country in which people don’t conform. They don’t want a homogeneous society. Putting people with radically different ideals and cultures in close proximity is a recipe for disaster.

In terms of far-right and far-left, you are going to get political systems that in no way resemble our current political ideas of "left" and "right"
For instance, a far-right person generally doesn't care about low taxation and free trade like Republicans do. In fact, being the nationalists they are, they are very protectionist and would like some form of social safety net. They believe that putting the welfare of your people comes first. They believe that there are naturally occurring hierarchies and any radical attempt to close such a gap is a futile goal (referring to egalitarianism). They believe in having a culturally homogeneous population to prevent conflict and preserving their heritage (traditionalist). They believe in maintaining order.
These are just purely right-wing precepts, so to be "far-right" just take them to the extreme. That is why "fascism" is a far-right ideology: it maintains order, by strong force if necessary, super-nationalistic in terms of maintaining cultural heritage, mainly corporatist, etc.
Left-wing is more globalist. They believe in centrally-planned economies with huge social safety nets. They like multi-culturalism, egalitarianism. Going to find a lot more atheists and moral relativists in this camp. They aren't based on the idea of order.

To be fair, I liked Trump based on what he ran on in 2016. I figured he may have changed, as I know he used to be a Democrat not too long ago. So that would explain donating to those people.
There are two options: Trump is an opportunist who was good at reading the current political climate, or due to lack of political savvy, he has allowed himself to be surrounded by corrupt people who have no interest in his 2016 vision. We shall see moving forward which is more likely.

I'm not sure if he made the claims to be deceptive, but I agree that he didn't get many important things done that he said he would.
A lot of politicians on both sides of the aisle, as well as liberal judges, have blocked a lot of things, too.
But he is to blame for not getting things done through EOs when possible.
Seems to be too scared of losing reelection that he isn't acting like his 2016 self. Pandering for votes, trying not to upset the immigration lobby, etc.

We could argue whether or not Trump is indeed "establishment". That really is irrelevant, though. It was the fact that during the 2016 election, he was perceived as populist, which is against the establishment.
And "establishment" has a negative connotation in the country right now. It is synonymous with corruption. They believe the establishment over the past decades has abandoned them and hasn't fought for their interest.

I clearly didn't agree. Trump has gotten rid of trade agreements, which had previously hurt our manufacturing base. He is taking on China in a trade war, as they steal our IP and use slave wages and dumping to kill our factories.
He has done well, but has a lot more to do. Bill Clinton abandoned unions and signed NAFTA. Democrat entitlement programs have killed the family by replacing fathers with a government check.
Voting for literally any establishment politician is self-destructive for a poor person. That is why they chose Trump over Hitlery.

Well, the trailer parks voted for Trump because he promised to bring back manufacturing jobs and stop bringing in immigrant laborers that undercut their wages.

Most people shot are armed, so I don't know that a good portion of these deaths could even be prevented by training in grappling holds. And unarmed people can get shot because you think they are armed (reaching for the glove box, etc.). Any life saved would be good, but that sounds incredibly expensive and police will spend more time in training and less time on the streets making them safe, so more people could die from lack of policing too.

And the protests are ridiculous. If you account for the number of police shootings that occur per violent crime committed by each race, you will see that white people are shot more often per violent crime arrest than black people. (I can pull up the data if you want. Just lemme know)
And I don't see why it matters that the cops were white at this press event, either. There is no evidence as far as I know stating that black cops shoot black people less often than white cops do.

1. No. I think that the past relationship of mods and members can really affect the enforcement of this one. I am for restricting bans in general and think these rules should apply to everyone to be honest.
2. No. I think that moderators are very insightful into the feasibility of some rules and can explain their in the reasoning in their responses. Moderators are also some of the most experienced members of this site and eliminating their input would be a detriment.
3. Yes2. I would like to say that there should be a time limit on this feature, maybe two weeks, in order to hash out any obvious violations and complaints. If there is a case in which there is a last-second vote that isn't quite up to code and changes the results (a very rare occurrence, but still possible), then I think it is perfectly within the realm of reason to remove it.
4. Yes. Obviously might not be feasible due to financial constraints, but this could be a valuable addition to the site. It adds more variety to the list of site activities and it could even be used to help streamline future MEEPS with automatic vote counting.
5. Yes3. Financial constraints are brought up occasionally and I am currently unable to contribute to that cause. I think that this would help keep the site running and be able to fund improvements for the future with a more consistent stream of income. I think that video and pop-up ads would take away from the site aesthetic, while the others wouldn't.

I have seen dozens of videos, the majority of which had mostly black protesters/rioters. And the protests are orchestrated mainly by groups like BLM- a group that gets very hostile towards people that suggest "all lives matter". But all of the demographic things are just anecdotal. Being a "white majority" country doesn't instantly mean that your group is in the majority for everything (FBI statistics disprove that pretty quickly).
Videos of white people literally washing the feet of black people and kneeling to them and throwing around bigoted terms like "white privilege" are what I would consider self-hating. It is pitiful.
