@Discipulus_Didicit
Grey and I came up with a good idea, it was club and you hammering that was the stupid idea.
This is interesting wording, because it makes it sound like you came up with the idea together, as a team. In DP1, you just seconded Grey's idea, you didn't come up with it with him. This reads to me like you've been coordinating in a scum PM.
Also, you idea was stupid, because you should have foreseen the early hammer. If Mhar could notice the flaw in your plan, than you certainly should've been able to.

@Wylted
I find that it's harder for scum to bs their way out of a lynch when they are under pressure for longer. They tend to crack. Rushed lynches on easy targets, however, play right into mafia's hands.

I think speed was activity prompted given what he posted, which makes me think he is scum, because me and bsh1 were clearly not activity prompted

So the justification is fine, but it is not reassuring to me that you didn't breadcrumb your claim somewhere.

@Greyparrot
Why does the lack of an NK have anything to do with it? Why does town not stepping up lead you to conclude that the poisoner is scum?

@Wylted
Longer DPs do not benefit town, though they should not be rushed
I don't recall FT ever saying that, and I wouldn't put it past you to have just made all that up. But your remark here seems a bit contradictory and to miss the point. Ultimately, we agree that DPs should never be rushed, and when they aren't rushed, they're longer. My lynch last game is a case-in-point for why rushing is a bad idea.

Oro, Pie, and Speed haven't posted much of substance as yet. Can we get activity prompts for less-than-engaged players? And yes, I know that's somewhat hypocritical, but I am here now.

Did you soft-claim anywhere? What is your CC and PM justification (paraphrased)?

Right now, my mind is bouncing between two potential scum possibilities. There is, of course, the possibility that Mhar is scum--a possibility which has been articulated here previously.
But there is also the possibility, I think, that Disc and/or Grey are scum. Both argued for VTNLing on DP1 with logic that was obviously flawed, and neither made any real effort to put pressure on the noobs not to bring the vote count to L1 (which risked the hammer). Indeed, Disc seemed to embrace this strategy when it was clearly anti-town. Then this DP, they seem to be rushing the lynch on Mhar, taking advantage of noob votes to build a wagon. Longer DPs always benefit town because they increase the probability that players will scumslip and because they maximize the opportunities for town to scumhunt and coordinate.
So, the bottom line for me right now is that I am willing to lynch Mhar for POE. But if Mhar flips town, then the focus of our suspicion should be Disc and Grey. The DP should not be rushed.

@Mharman
I think Disc is scum because he and Grey came up with the VTNL idea, a stupid idea which I fell for. Being as experienced as he is, he should’ve known his idea was stupid but he tricked me into helping it along. Second, he still interrogated Club after he claimed Chancey the poison doc.
Gah, this post is driving me crazy. I agree with the topline analysis that Disc and Grey are skating by too easily here, but the notion that they "tricked" Mhar is utter nonsense. It reads as a lame attempt to shift the lynch focus, which is scummy (it's motivated more out of self-preservation than genuine scum-hunting).

@Mharman
If you're referring to this, then I don't see how you can really say that Disc did anything to "calm your fears."Disc had convinced me to VTNL. He calmed my fears about a scum hammer. But then Club hammered and my fears had come true.
I liked your push back on the complete nonsense about VTNLing coming from Grey and Disc in DP1, but then you seemed to go along with their logic too easily. It's like the push back was superficial.

This.

Why do you say that?

Eh...Seemed like Mhar. He can be overenthusiastic...That's maybe not the right word, but hopefully you get my meaning.Seemed a bit overdramatic, almost staged, didn't it?

@Mharman
The quote in post 93 is clearly not exculpatory. Any mafioso cognizant of their responsibilities in that role and who had not, themselves, read the DP OP would have said that. For instance, imagine I am mafia, but I don't know that warren has said there are 3 mafiosos because I didn't read the initial posts carefully. So, even though that I know there are 3 mafiosos, I don't know that town knows this, and so I might still phrase my post as you did. Hopefully that's not worded to confusingly...

Wylted was poisoned, which to me indicates the presence of a poisoner. Killing roles, like vigilantes, tend to be town. But any town poisoner should not be targeting people willy-nilly. They should be targeting people that the town scumreads, and they should probably be allowing some POE to take place to increase the probability that they will make more accurate hits.

There was an 8 min gap between mharm and club voting. Clubs post was not that long so I doubt it took him 8 kind to make it.
On the one hand, I agree. On the other, not everyone is refreshing the page constantly. It's not like people were piling on him not to VTNL. So, a simply lack of situational awareness could explain his hammer. I don't really see it as suspicious.

Willing to bet there are 3 scum... but some town PRs to compensate for the high scum-town ratio.
I don't think that's a super high scum-town ratio. That's the ratio it should be with 12 players.

From DP1, Greyparrot
since the rules state it is not default...all town should start the day with a VTNL statement and then change it later when you want to vote.If you don't do this, you are not helping town.
This strikes me as obviously illogical, and I don't know why we're buying into it. This risks an earlier VTNL hammer, which happened. We shouldn't be VTNLing unless it gets close to the deadline and we've decided to no-lynch.

Well, I would definitely marry Batman. Do you know how rich he is? Then, it was really a toss up based on looks, so I chose Danny because I find silver hair hot (when it's not obviously dyed).

Hate speech is treated as an aggravating factor when other violations of the COC are present. Hate speech is not itself a violation of the COC unless it is being used to personally attack a specific user or users.

F - Danny
M - Batman
K - Beast

I actually had to stop the round because I started laughing so hard. I did ask them to repeat what they said, and it was definitely matricidal. I ended up voting for the matricidal queers anyhow, because their opponents dropped topicality. It was a wierd round.

In your entire debating career, what was the dumbest argument you ever heard?
It was in policy debate, and went something like this: "That unusual and unique identities deserve affirmation, and that when given the choice between affirming minority identities over majority identities, one should affirm the former. Therefore, because the opposing team identify as white, male, cisgendered, human, heterosexuals, while we identify as black, matricidal, genderless, feline, queers, you have to vote for us." I was following up until they said the word "matricidal."
What is your opinion on Congressional debate?
It's only loosely "debate." The primary object is not clash, which means that it is more like a speech event than policy, LD, or PF. That said, when done well, it is an excellent event.

Any proprietary information for medicines on the WHO list of essential medicines, so that they could be sold cheaply.If you had a choice to make one property open source which one could it be?
That nature is fundamentally an object of spiritual inquiry and, also, the importance of caring.What was the most important realization you have come to?
Do you think braindeath is death?
Probably, but I'd have to give it some more thought.
Being able to teleport effectively or run effectively?
I'd rather teleport. I'd never be late again...

@TheRealNihilist
Whose death impacted you the most?
There haven't been many people I have known who have died. Probably the most honest answer is my grandparents, all four of them, since they all died before I was three. I still wonder what they were like.
What do you think is the worst thing going on right now?
The Syrian civil war.
What do you think is the best thing going on right now?
Increasing efforts to fight climate change and environmental degradation.
Would you rather be financially stable or be in love?
If I could only have one, I would choose the latter, provided that the feeling was reciprocated.
Do you think equality is an impossible task?
Yes, but that doesn't mean it's not worth pursuing.
Spider-Man or Batman?
I was never a big superhero guy. I guess I'd go with Batman, because Bale was super hot in that role...

Are you a social democrat or democratic socialist?
I lean strongly to the left. I am not sure if that makes me a democratic socialist, though I certainly agree with many of Bernie Sanders' positions.
What is the thing that triggers or annoys you the most?
If by "triggers" you mean "annoys," then I would say Trump Republicans citing demonstrable falsehoods as a basis for their political beliefs.
What is your favorite game of all time?
Honestly, I don't play a lot of games. My family rarely did card or boardgames growing up, and they didn't allow me to have videogames. I could play Pokemon on GB and DS, though, and at summer camp, I played Mario Kart when I could. I guess, if we're talking card/boardgames, I would say Monopoly. If we're talking about something more modern, I would have to say Pokemon, basically by default.
What is worse living a mundane 80 year life or living happily for 20 years of your life?
The former, though 20 years is really short, so it's a close call. Maybe if it were like 30 years or something...
If you had a child and were forced into a situation where you had to either die or the child dies, which one would you pick?
I would die. But it's easy to say that...I don't think anyone really knows what they would do in that kind of scenario until they're actually in it.
