Regarding material, earthly matters, I would say faith is synonymous with trust or confidence: “I still have faith in our institutions.”
Regarding immaterial matters, I would say faith is a belief in something which is unfalsifiable.

Are you willing to post in a way consistent with the intent of this thread?
Ah, I finally get it. It is *I* correct?

Is that an affirmative answer to the question “You say things for no good reason?”?

Keep it coming, the Shila songs.
As a reminder, here is the point of this thread:
Here’s a game idea: write a post in the style of another poster and see how many tries it takes to guess the correct poster.

For some people, questions are usually enough.
How do you know this?

It proves that your fantasy doesnt exist yet.
Asking questions constitutes proof in your view?
You know of fantasies which exist currently?

Since your definition is fantasy, it is not possible to achieve it.
Prove it.

Your AI doesnt seem to be superior to GP's AI, as it just repeated same.
See post #52, Yu-Gi-Oh! You could have employed “your” AI, but nooooo… you insisted on me finding a definition.

“National sovereignty refers to a country's independent power to govern itself within its own territory, meaning it has the authority to make its own laws, manage its internal affairs, and choose its own political system without undue interference from other nations; essentially, it's the principle of a nation's right to self-governance within its borders.
Key points about national sovereignty:
- Self-determination:A sovereign nation decides its own policies and actions without external control.
- International law principle:National sovereignty is a fundamental concept in international law, allowing countries to govern their own domestic affairs.
- Limitations:While sovereign, nations still need to adhere to international laws and treaties they have signed.”

Not sure how you achieve that by chasing around migrants.
That’s because you have selective reading comprehension. From my earlier post:
“The President’s deportation initiative is purported to focus on troublemakers.”
How DO you think national sovereignty is achieved (dare I even ask)? And please refrain from telling me how it is not achieved.

@IlDiavolo
do you agree with the change of the Gulf of Mexico's name to Gulf of America?
Meh, I don’t really care either way. Perhaps good for a chuckle. Technically, this entire hemisphere comprises the Americas (North, Central, and South).

Thats not an unwanted consequence. You want more migrants to replace your mostly sterilized population.
Tell it to Japan, Yu-Gi-Oh!
Well, if you want to copy other countries, go ahead.
It’s not a matter of merely copying other countries; it’s a matter of the universal desire to preserve national sovereignty.

Last I checked, Australia charges a non refundable fee of $4000 just to apply for residency. They even threatened to double that fee. It is very dehumanizing.

I was explaining why migrants are good, and why it is in US interest to turn most of illegal migrants into legal migrants instead of deporting them.
That is merely a feelgood policy proposal with unintended consequences. The unwanted consequence of blanket amnesty would be heavily incentivizing more incursions at the border. The President’s deportation initiative is purported to focus on troublemakers.
So if someone doesnt have record of a crime, he can enter USA.
Any non criminal should be freely able to reside in any country permanently then. Why does no country have that policy?

The takeaway is that migrants are people too just like Americans, migrants bring in their money, and US birth rates due to its sterilized population are not enough to replace workforce.
That takeaway does not contradict the President’s policies.
Those are not the only two options.
Sure. Care to expand?
Edit: By “closed borders” I actually mean secure, controlled borders with regulated immigration, not “no immigration at all.”

@Best.Korea
Still much more crime than in migrant population.
Again, what is the takeaway from the immigrant crime data?
Open borders are favorable to closed borders? Then why does every country have closed borders?
Illegal immigrants should be able to become police officers?
The threat of deportation is a more effective deterrent than the US prison system?
Childbirth inside US borders should be discouraged?
And what is the crime data for US born children of illegal immigrants?
Created:

@FLRW
undocumented immigrants have a 41% lower total criminal conviction rate than native-born Americans.
So, one can conclude that open immigration would be ideal?
Unless they commit 0 crimes (other than illegally entering), illegal immigrants actually do increase overall crime; they just reduce the overall crime rate when included as members of the US population. The problem is that these crimes are committed by people who shouldn’t even be here to commit them. And crime isn’t the only issue— costly social services and porous borders are incompatible with each other.
