Up to you how to treat non submission. Generally it's treated as a forfeit of action unless you want to poll for replacements. Supa is temp banned so he needs to be replaced anyway.

I have requested that Pie replace Supa. If he declines or does not respond I will post for replacements. If I do not receive a response from either by the end of the day phase I will simply eject the character and proceed with the game.
The show must go on.

where did the big bang come from? any answer an atheist would give relies on faith and isn't based on the preponderance of the evidence. the preponderance of the evidence is that the universe came from something else. cause and effect.
We don't know where the Big Bang "came from" or that it "came from" anything. Current scientific theory is silent on the matter.
if there is evidence that there was once no life, then that's all the more reason to say it takes faith to think life came from non life. at least if there was a continual chain of life back to the big bang that we observed, we could say life was something that is part of existence. as it is now, there was non life then there was life. faith required to say how that happened without god.
You said faith is belief without evidence. If the evidence says that there, at one point, wasn't life, then there was, then that is evidence life came from non-life. Since there is evidence, it isn't belief without evidence and therefore isn't faith.
also you say it's just my opinion that consciousness is apart from the material world. it's possible i'm wrong. but you have to admit that that's what it looks like, don't you?
That's not what it looks like to me..
it's similar to those 'are humans just advanced robots' threads. obivously, it looks like we're more than just advanced biological robots. to say otherwise is just stupid.
We are, essentially, advanced biological robots.

- Getting Something from Nothing. There has never been an observed example where something was created from nothing. No person would attempt to build something without materials, and there is no theory outside Big Bang cosmology which reaches this conclusion without ridicule from the scientific community
Big bang theory doesn’t posit something from nothing. No issue.
- Getting Life from Non-Life. Even if naturalistic causes could have created the universe, it would still be necessary for non-living material to become living. This is also an unproven (and impossible) feat which must be accepted when denying the existence of God.
We have evidence that there once wasn’t life and evidence that there was life. No faith required.
- Getting Order from Chaos. Personal observation tells us that all things tend towards disorder, not order. Left to themselves buildings crumble, gardens are taken over by weeds, and living material decays. If unguided natural causes produced the universe (from nothing) and produced life (from non-life) these processes would necessarily go against observed scientific principles in order to produce the complexity, beauty, and order that we observe in the world around us.
We also observe order from chaos as well. Crystals form intricate and regular structures, random rules can create order geometric shapes. There is no violation of scientific principle.
<br>
- Getting the Immaterial from Physical Matter. If nothing was able to produce everything, non-life was able to produce life, and chaos was able to produce order the atheistic worldview would still encounter an insurmountable obstacle. No matter how organized, it is impossible for physical material to produce the immaterial realities of human consciousness. Our morality, beliefs, desires and preferences all exist outside of mere physical matter.
Well, that’s just like, your opinion, man.

Good catch. You clearly said "Vanilla town" and even Grey said he was "Vanilla Towny."
This "Town Vanilla" nonsense is contrived.

Because Grey knew the "voice and vote" thing was from the PM? I thought that too at first, but it's common verbiage that would be easy for him to catch.

Second quickfire game using my Semi-Open Setup for 6 players. Semi-Open TL;DR:
- Semi-Open: the ratios of town to third party to mafia is known. The pool that roles are selected from is known, but not the subset that is selected for the game. Within each affiliation, roles are unique. Roles with identical functions are named differently between Town and Mafia (e.g. Tracker. vs Scout)
- The game is Night Start. Instead of starting at DP1 leading into NP1, it will be NP1 leading into DP1.
- Third-Parties may joint depending on the specifics of the role. (Note: Joint simply means that more than one faction/party wins. There are no places. A joint win isn't any less a win than a solo win. There is no advantage to winning alone versus winning along side another party)
- With 6 players, the ratio will be 4 town, 1 third party, and 1 mafia.
Also, here are my generic Mafia Rules. TL;DR:
- Day Phases are 36 hours or when all players have voted and a wagon has a majority vote.
- Players not voting if the time limit has been reached are removed from game. (This is the only requirement for activity)
- If a role calls for a Twilight Phase, it will begin at the end of the Day Phase and last 12 hours or until all actions have been submitted.
- If a game uses Twilight Phases, the results of the lynch won't be revealed until after the Twilight Phase has ended.
- Night phases last 24 hours or when all actions have been submitted.
- Players not submitting actions when their respective Twilight or Night Phase ends will be removed from game.
- Actions may only be waived explicitly.
- Use of encryption or external sites to convey information is forbidden (no deciphering schemes or use of Google Documents for arguments)
Modifications from last game: I removed the mechanic that ends the game when everyone has voted but there wasn't a majority vote on a wagon. Instead, if all players are voting, but there isn't a majority vote on a wagon, then players may only unvote in order to place their vote on an existing wagon: you cannot simply unvote or start a new wagon.
I also eliminated the Mafia Captain mechanic.

They could, that’s basically, option A. I just think it’s the less likely of the options.

So, based on the kills either:
A) mafia believed speed was real vig but vig believed speed was non-vig town
B) vig believed speed was mafia but mafia believed speed was non-vig town
Of those, I think B is the most likely option. Even if mafia believed Speed was real vig, they might think it's still better to leave him alive, as random killing is more likely to kill town, thus helping them.

I'm trying to understand this notion of how the real vig was supposed to know that Speed was Town rather than Mafia.

That is the idea I had in mind. My first one was basically a beta test of that idea. Been thinking about running another with slight tweaks based on feedback.

Without the lynch power, I don't see how we win. Both Rbers are still alive and have at least one shot left. They RB us tonight. I don't know if Rb cancels out the BP but if it does, one of us dies tonight and the other tomorrow, nothing we can do about it.
If it doesn't, then both us BP tonight and they RB us tonight and we go into tomorrow with no kills and repeat the process, but they'll have used both RBs and we can Vig and doc with impunity.
Basically, if RB blocks BP, it's autolose for town, if RB doesn't block BP it's autowin for town.

Special Rules1) [REVOKED]2) No vote by any mafia member shall count unless there is at least one townie on the wagon.3) All players votes will appear on vote counts as normal regardless of whether their votes actually count.
So, we can't force a lynch anymore.

@Vader
Everything points to you being town.
Even from your POV, the other Townie has to be me or oro and we're both on Virt.
1. We know Virt is mafia because he wasn't on the grey lynch.
2. We know Virt is mafia because there are only two townies left and it's you + me/oro.
3. We know Virt is mafia because the mod literally flipped him.
Vote Virt and we'll figure the rest out tomorrow.

Of course, this implies that Supa is town, which only raises the question as to why he is lying.

Well ain't that a kick in the pants. This tells us a lot.
Let's recap the rules:
Special Rules1) The number of votes needed to end a DP is equal to half the remaining players rounded down. However, if all surviving members of the town are on the same wagon or VTNL then that lynch or VTNL will go through.2) Players on the mafia team will not have their vote counted unless there is a townie on that wagon, in which case for each townie on the wagon one mafia players vote will count.3) All players votes will appear on vote counts as normal regardless of whether their votes actually count.
This means that a lynch is only possible if both townies are on the lynch.
Virtuoso (2/3) - drafter, oro
This would be a lynch if both me and oro were town, but it isn't, ergo either me or oro isn't town.
Drafterman (3/3) - supa, virtuoso, pie
This would be a lynch if both town were on it, but it isn't, ergo both town aren't on this lynch.
From last DP:
Grey (4/5) - oro, supa, drafter, F4
This was only a lynch because all three townies were on the lynch (that's the only way you could lynch with less than the required number of votes).
Logic
3 from (oro, supa, drafter, F4) were town.
Press flipped Town (died NP1)
2 from (oro, supa, drafter) are town
(Consequentially, everyone not on that lynch is Mafia)
So the Town team is either:
oro + supa
oro + drafter
supa + drafter
If it was me and Supa, then Virt should have been lynched as of post #6.
If it was me and oro, then Virt should have been lynched as of post #40
From a 3rd party perspective, this should imply that the town team is oro + Supa, but this is a mod mistake.
This is easily demonstrable by having oro vote me. It won't do anything because without my vote, only one other Mafioso can have their vote count (as per rule #2).

@Discipulus_Didicit
My understanding is that if all Town is on the same lynch, then that's a lynch without needing any additional votes:
1) The number of votes needed to end a DP is equal to half the remaining players rounded down. However, if all surviving members of the town are on the same wagon or VTNL then that lynch or VTNL will go through.
So if me + oro isn't enough to vote Virt then me + Supa (posts #4 and #6) should have.
