It is because atheists like to pretend they are more intelligent than theists, when in reality, they are simply insecure, and know they are not.

So PISS OFF and get therapy for your insecurity, you all need it.

Split Brain, and the third stage of alchemy
-->
@keithprosser
The science of chakras has been around for thousands of years. Associating the mind with the brain(as in, psysically arising from the brain) is modern speculation. It has no base in reality. That the brain is a container for, or a reciever of consciousness is more likely accurate.

Either way, what does this have to do with the topic at hand? If you have nothing to add, even speculation on my theory, then why bother even responding?

I think you are saying consciousness is a physical aspect of the brain.

That is just an outdated theory, though, that doesn't hold water. It is pure speculation.

There is no proof of black holes. It is a complete fabrication, like dark matter and dark energy.

There are no black holes. That is mythology.

I think a lot of these things tie in together, such as the Kabalistic tree of life. I think it is all about spiritual transformation.

Split Brain, and the third stage of alchemy
The Bicameral Mind, or Split Brain

When the corpus collosum is split surgically in epileptics, there becomes "two minds", with the right and left hemispheres acting and thinking separately. In normal people, the right and left hemispheres must act in an integrated, or at least semi-integrated manner, with the right hemisphere in charge of planning and organization, and the left in charge of speech and analyzing.

There are studies that show that we make some decisions before we consciously think about them. Is this the right hemisphere making these decisions, before the left(which we think of as "I" has a chance to analyze and come to a decision? Is the right hemisphere the "subconscious"? Does this subconscious have it's own sense of "I"? Does everyone really consist of two minds in one, that are so integrated, you can't tell the difference?

The Third Chakra and the Third Stage of Alchemy

I consider the seven chakras and the seven stages of alchemy to correspond. I think it is all the same thing, described in different ways. The third, or solar plexus chakra, deals with personal willpower, or choice. The third stage of alchemy deals with the separation of solar and lunar sides of the mind. I think this is the separation of the right and left hemispheres, or the two minds described above. (which is of course a psychic phenomena, and not a biological one). At this stage of alchemy, you "separate the wheat from the chaff", discarding the crap in your mind, bad behaviors, deciding what is morally good, and choosing to keep what is the good over the bad. Reintegration occurs at the fourth stage, conjunction. If you choose the crap at this stage, you do not reach conjunction, and do not evolve spiritually.

Jesus is a mythology, as was Gilgamesh.

They are true mythology,as in they are archetypes of the human soul in transmutation.

grace
Lately ive had three experiences which felt like grace from God. Two times i felt a sense of peace, and once was a powerful energy experience after i asked God a question. I'm not sure what to make of these experiences. Not sure how to proceed. Whether I should take up some type of meditation to get closer to God. I am somewhat reluctant to pray, as i don't want to annoy God. Even as I write this, i have a bit of the energy feeling. I want to get closer to God and understand what is going on, but I don't know how to proceed. I feel like I need to do something, but I am reluctant to meditate or pray. i was shocked when i had the energy experience after asking the question.

i have had experience of God in the past, but that was after severe sleep deprivation, and once was during a meditation experience, with an altered state of consciousness. Never during normal consciousness. I am having no symptoms of psychosis. i am on meds. i did ask God a couple of further questions, and got no response. That is why i am reluctant to go that route as well. maybe i should just wait asnd see what happens. I don't know.

Quitting
47 hours, almost two days.

Right now I'm feeling some mild to moderate feelings of unpleasant energy stuck at my third chakra, the solar plexus. It's not even nearly as bad as other quits though, this one has been easy (comparitively) so far. I might make it this time.

It's been ok I guess. I can't sleep at all. But it just feels like normal insomnia, there is no energy that is waking me up, as far as i can tell. i sleep for only a few minutes at a time. i wake up about 20 times a night. i had a nap for an hour on the couch. felt really good.

strangely enough, i had about four to five hours of feeling of relaxation and peace. it felt like it came from God. I had this same feeling the first night too, for about a half an hour. the first night it was stronger, and definitely felt like a spiritual experience. I'm not sure what to make of it.

I have had almost no cravings

I've watched a lot of Kent Hovind. I personally like the guy, I like his personality. I don't believe half of what he says though.

edit: he is genuine though. HE definitely believes what he is saying.

Biology. Survival skills. Women traded protection and food for mating rights during pregnancy and while having to raise small children. Some societies turned this natural inclination into women being "property" of the male. That is not as it "should" be. There is no cosmic law saying women are inferior to men and thus must be subservient.

It's about survival and continuation of the species.

Quitting
Nine hours. The crap has already started. When i try to rest or sleep, the negative, almost painful energy courses through my body from my abdomin to my chest. I get stuck in the theta state between dreaming and wakefulness. Bad memories and thoughts plague my mind, cycling through from one to the next very quickly. i can't sleep or rest. In two hours i will try again.

This is not normal problems of quitting smoking, but it happens every time. ive only made it to five days at the longest.

I've been feeling very irritable for the past couple of hours. It's very much not something i feel often, not even in a quit attempt. So I will just concentrate on dealing with irritation, which is relatively foreign to me. At least it isn't normal to feel this way for Hours, that's for sure. I will try to be nice to people, even ef i don't feel like it.

I apologize for the atrocious spelling etc, i seem to not even be trying lately.

irritation levels should peak around the end of day 2, so i have a ways to go. i havent had a lot of cravings, luckily. but i dont feel normal, i feel like i am missing something, and i am.

Do you agree with Christian values, such as women should be submissive to their husbands? I think that's a pretty big one.
