The meaning of death
-->
@Tradesecret
I think physical death is neccessary because we start to remember our past lives as we get older. And who wants to deal with that? There is a reason we forget between lives.

ARE HUMANS UNDECIPHERABLE ENIGMAS OR PROGRAMMABLE BLACK BOXES?
  >>>> Both

do you believe that people tend to adopt general strategies to deal with challenges they encounter ??
>>>>>I think people adAPT to just about anything. General, not really

do you believe these strategies are identifiable ??

(1) do you think a person should get their sense of self-worth from within themselves or from what other people think of them?
>>> of course within, but who ever manages THAT really?

(2) do you prefer to be spontaneous and go out and travel and do things "IRL" or do you prefer to think about doing things and lose yourself in movies and television shows and books ?

>>> books. Now that I'm older anyway.

(3) do you think people should generally trust their gut or do you think people should generally think things through ??
>>>> gut first, think later.

(4) do you think people should follow a strict core code of laws or principles no matter what, or do you think that people should follow different rules in different situations ??
>>>>situations are always different, so number 2

Evolution, Neanderthal
Is it really a mystery why the Neanderthal "died out" 26,000 years ago? At the beginning of the Great year cycle. Where we are now. "Humans" have died out, and no one even knows it. There is a new breed of humans. Different skeleton, way different skull, internal organ placement.

This is the real "evolution".

There are some things I forgot to add. The halfway point on the time line is at 6500 years. I think this is a reflection of the 6 to 5 phenomenan which is found all throughout esoterica. I think it means several things, one being the relationship of the pentagon to the hexagon, life (5) to structure(6).

Also, in the timeline, the zero degree point of aries is right where the heart chakra would be on the man.

Thats all for now, there is more to come.

I have a new theory that I started working on last night after a huge psychic download of information. It involves everything in the title and more. This is just a rough sketch of the idea that was given to me.

I am using rounded numbers for simplicity at this time.

My theory in a nutshell: the precession of the equinoxes encodes/reflects (as above so below) the ideal male human body, ala vitruvian man, including chakra points. The three polestars vega, thuban and Polaris mark three important times/spots on the timeline of the half Precession, from cusp pf Virgo/Leo to cusp of Pisces/Aquarius (now). Vega at the cusp of Virgo/Leo is the feet. Thuban is near the Taurus/Aries cusp, on the Taurus side. It represents the Navel. This is also the dividing line for the Golden ratio. (Not exact in my timeline, but i think when I do more accurate numbers, it will be closer to the golden ratio. Polaris represents the head at the Pisces/Aquarius cusp (Now).

There are other important points, which I will get to later. I will stick with these three pole star points  for now.

My timeline starts at 11,000 bc and extends 13,000 years to 2000 AD. This is half the Precession. I plotted a point for vega at year 0 or 11,000 bc. I plotted thuban at year 2800 bc, year 8200. I plotted polaris at year 2000 AD or 13,000 years.

Mythology/etymology etc of the feet, Vega, or the beginning of the precessional timeline (it is also the ending of the other half of the presession)

Vega- fertile and grassy plain. Also, "to fall" and "the falling eagle". What I see this to mean is a new beginning with the fertile plain, and I believe it is also "the fall" of man, or into physical incarnation. The falling eagle must represent Aquila (more recently named as scorpio) which is the previous cardinal sign of an eagle. Vega is also in the constellation Lyra, which is the harp. The harp could signify "the word" which God brings his creation to life (sound). David had a harp, and David figures in other parts of this theoy as well, and is a forefather of Jesus. Vega is a single star, thus denoting the number ONE. There are also themes of Lion, Sun and Fire, which I will deal with as time permits.

Thuban- A double star system, denoting the number TWO. Name meaning/s- snake or dragon, in the Draco constellation. Also means "pivot". These points are all cardinal points, which means pivot as well. Other similar meanings of cardinal are chief, principle, hinge, essential, pole of the sky, that on which something depends, and door hinge. Earth sign, Venus, Bull.

Polaris- A triple star system, denoting the number THREE. Name derived from phoenix, representing the obvious phoenix, as well of the date palm. Phoenix is the same as the bennu bird, which rose at creation on a hill of dirt in the primordial waters. The bennu bird or phoenix burns itself and resurrects from it's own ashes. Phonics or phonetics also comes from the root word, with meanings of sound and speaking (the word). It also means date palm, or place of the date palm. A date palm represents victory, especially of victory of the spirit over flesh. Synbols of sun's eternal resurection. Renewal after long and difficult period. Tree of life or axis mundi. In islam the palm represents the oasis, rest, hospitality. This obviously has meanings of both beginning/endings. Aquarius is an air sign, which is linked to the "spirit". Aquarius is a cup bearer, and the cup bearer in Roman mythology brought the nectar of immortality to the Gods on mount olympus, or the axis mundi.

So, my take on this is that we begin our incarnation during the time of Leo, until we reach Aquarius, where we incarnate into spirit. This is a cycle that repeats. There is no pole star in the other half of the cycle, which must mean that that is the time we are in spirit.

The sign that is in the sky right before sunrise on the vernal equinox. That shows what age we are in.  (although we don't know exactly where the begiing is, the postition of zero degrees aries. We can tell within a few degrees though. I am working on a theory that regulus is Leo can be an indicator of this, but that is still just a theory for me.

Some societies used the fall equinox, which is valid as well.

I have not been able to confirm this visually, either through videos, pictures or my own eyes. I am also not very smart, I should be able to tell on any given sun rise, and extrapolate from that. I also have hills blocking my view of the east. I have been studying both astronomy and astrology to help me figure this out, and studying the sky on uncloudy nights (which are rare where I live, on the pacific coast) Astrology doesn't help much though, most of it is tropical astrology, which is one to two ages outdated.

Zero degrees Aries is basically the dividing line between Pisces and Aries. This is the start of the zodiac cycle. Although it isn't precisely determined, anyone can come close just by looking at the sky. Anyone's guess would be within a degree or so. Degrees are pretty wide, the sun or moon each take up half a degree. I could be off by probably no more than a degree, which is 72 years.

I'm not sure completely though, I have to go off of other's research. I am learning astronomy and astrology, including just looking at the sky at night of ten, so I can figure out where everything really is, and eventually determine for myself visually where in the precessional cycle we are by checking right before the sun rises on one of the equinoxes.

The precession, Muhammed and Jesus, and my proposed new timeline based on zero aries
I have created and propose a new timeline based on the precession of the equinoxes. I learned from a source(which I am actually unsure of, so I could be way off base here) that we are 36 degrees past zero aries, which is the cusp of aries/pisces, and the beginning of the Precession of the equinoxes, or world ages. I am going by the Great Year of 25,920 years, or 2160 years per Age.

If this is true, then we are about 432 years into Aquarius (30 degrees per Age, so 36 degrees would be 2160 years plus 432 years or 1/5 of an age.). Precession started 2592 years ago at zero aries. (start of pisces). 2592 years is 10 percent of the precession, also an interesting resonance with 25920 years.

SO year 1, and the beginning of Pisces and zero aries, is "our" year 576 bc. Pythagoras and the Buddha were born around this time. Main themes of this century are: beginning of republics and democracies. Also beginning s of new philosphies: Confutionism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism(dualism), Jainism.

Next in the timeline is "our" supposed year 1 AD, and "our" beginning of Pisces. According to my timeline, this is the year 571 Ad. The most interesting thing I found was this is the birth year of Muhammed. In our history, this is supposedly the birth year of Jesus (because Jesus was supposed to be born around year 1 AD.

Next in my timeline is the beginning of the Age of Aquarius. This is the year 1584 AD. The most interesting thing I found for this year was that it was the adoption of a new calendar, the Gregorian calendar. The themes of this century are mostly: Rennesances, materialism, the beginning of science. One very interesting tidbit is a prophecy made earlier by Jacopo Brocardo that the year 1584 would begin "a major new cycle".

The last point of my time line is the present. This is the year 2592 if counting from the beginning of Precession, the Age of Pisces.

The meaning of death
-->
@Tradesecret
Some seem confused about the meaning of death preferring it to mean other than the ordinary meanings associated with the term.

Physical death- when the body no longer has breath and decays.

Spiritual death - when the spiritual relationship between God and man is severed.

Covenantal death - when the breach of the covenant brings the sanction of covenantal death within the limitations of the specific institution.

Some try and introduce another kind of death associated with ritual with higher orders with a secret society.

Please explain the different types of death you understand and the basis of this understanding.

There is physical death, when your life force leaves your body. This is a part of life and guaranteed.

Spiritual death is not a severence of a connection with God, because there can be no severance. But it can be hidden or just not understood.

And there is ego death, which is the realization you are a part of the larger life force. This can come and go. Most people will not experience this in any give generation. The ego is necessary to keep the illusion of separation while on this lower earth. The whole reason for this plane is to experience duality.

@Lemming
Oh yes I've love sci fi since I discovered it at the beginning of high school. I've always been drawn to strange ideas, different types of living and worlds.

I always wished there was a sequel to the Armor book, there were several hints that planets in the galaxy were made to fit "human" type life, and that the main character was somehow a different type of human. They didn't go into this aspect of the book enough. And another aspect of the book I admire of course is that he's a hero, not only out to save himself (and despite his obvious weaknesses and personality flaws) and this is proved in the end when he decides to get back in the suit to save the other people. When he really really didn't want to.

What is love?
-->
@badger
There are different kinds of love. There is romantic, friendship, love for parents, love for children. They feel different. In my experience the love for children is the strongest. But it really isn't a good feeling most of the time. It is a very strong type of anxiety, of potential loss. The reason infanticide is possible though is because people don't fall in love with babies immediately, it takes time to bond. Romantic love comes in second as the strongest. Especially a first love, which often makes people a bit crazy (or a lot) where they do really stupid things to keep the honeymoon feeling going.

Thank you for your response.

Interesting. Interesting view of me, plus interesting to see what other people think of me, because it is often hard for me to tell. People tend to avoid me. I know it's because I am percieved as strange. Even to my family, and they love me.

About my low energy. That is certainly true. I think this stems from my poor diet and lack of exersize and decent sleep. I am working on these things. I have learned a lot about bad health lately, especially where it involves eating. I eat a lot of junk food, fried food, useless carbs. I've learned that gut bacteria is vitally important to health, and I have some vitamin deficiencies. I am working on a new diet, and hope to be able to afford all organic once I quit smoking (then I will be able to afford it, it is rediculously expensive. My sister also suggested I start a garden, I have a good yard for it, and time to work on it. I am looking into that also. I am also quitting caffeine, which really affects my sleep. I am also prediabetic, which prompted me to make drastic changes recently. I have been getting much more exersize over the last three months, and have been feeling a big change in my energy level. I also reduced my antipsychotic usage, and hope to quit that as well in the coming months. Time to face my demons I suppose, instead of suppressing them. According to my astrology, my big thing in this life is to force myself to mature, build self confidence by facing my fears and learn how to become independant. Even if astrology isn't real, I still think that I need to mature.

Through intuition mostly. The "collective unconscious". People recieve or intuit, or both, pieces of reality. Then they make interpretaions through their filter of preconcieved notions and experience. It comes out a jumbled mess most of the time, but there are always elements of truth.

Man I don't get my hair cut more often than every five years or so. And they are always bad and way too short. I HATE hair cuts. Last month I wasted 55 dollars on a hair cut and it was aweful. I showed her a picture of a really cute style and asked for layers. She took out random chunks. I have very thick and long hair, so it was salvageable but it's gonna be another couple of months before it grows past my shoulders again. Super unhappy.  She literally cut off 3/4 of my hair. I knew I was doomed after the first cut. Should have walked out then.
