The federal reserve's only responsibility is to control the amount of currency in circulation to control inflation based on wealth created. It is the federal reserve that tells the treasury it can print more money. The federal reserve is 100% responsible for all worthless dollars printed. The federal reserve is 100% responsible for inflation. And spare me the supply and demand argument for some isolated commodity. Also the question I asked is not answered. How many more trillions of worthless dollars can be added to the already 31 trillion before the whole house of cards comes falling down? You must have an approximate figure because you don't think it is an issue right now. Also why should I pay taxes if the govt can just spend money it doesn't have? It just creates money out of thin air. I cant do that. I dont recall allowing the govt to sell unrepayable debt.

Why should I pay taxes if the govt can just print worthless money out of thin air? The current total to date is 31 trillion worthless dollars printed and not one penny is being allocated to reduce it. How many more trillions can the govt print before the entire house of cards comes falling down? Everyone at the federal reserve should be executed.

Looking to govt to solve this issue would be the first step into abject failure and even more poverty. But then again isn't that the plan, equal suffering.

After having heard every BS story imaginable about Tucker Carlson being fired/leaving on his own/mutually agreeing to cut ties with Fox news, who the fuck knows.
There is one thing that stands out to me. A so called news show hires an anchor under contract. That being said they cant just fire Tucker Carlson willy nilly. Promoting a narrative is not grounds for breach of contract. If that were true every news anchor in the world would be fired. There is a way for Fox News to silence "uncontrollable opposition" like Tucker Carlson. They can cancel his show and still honor their contract by continuing to pay him. You may ask how does that silence him? Well if there is a non compete clause in his contract he cant be employed by any other news media outlet until his contract ends. This pretty much shuts him up until after the 2024 elections. He may be able to do some podcasts or cameo appearances on small time BS outlets with tiny audiences but that's about it. Given all available BS misinformation, lies and garbage available at the moment this is my take on it. The fact that Tucker Carlson appears that he could care less about his show getting canceled. It kind of indicates he's laughing all the way to the bank to get paid to do nothing for who knows how many years to come. I should would like to read his employment contract. If this whole thing doesn't prove to you that all the news networks take their political narrative marching orders from the same people nothing will. Who in their right mind fires the most watched biggest cash cow in all of the news media. Who does that? That defies all logic on every possible level.

In other political news. I don't know if this is true or not because I don't believe anything the news media reports. But time will most certainly prove its authenticity.
"A Washington Post report claims that the DNC has resolved not to hold primary debates — a move that has drawn the ire of leftists such as former Ohio state senator Nina Turner, who decries the decision as “undemocratic.” By denying Kennedy and Williamson the opportunity to articulate their ideas in a public forum, the Democratic Party risks appearing overtly self-serving and dismissive of democratic norms. Furthermore, engaging in open debates could afford Biden the opportunity to address substantive criticisms and demonstrate his policy accomplishments.
By deciding against holding primary debates, the DNC is effectively silencing dissenting voices and perpetuating the status quo. This move hampers the exchange of ideas and stifles the democratic process, which is fundamental to the American political system. The absence of debates also prevents voters from making informed decisions, as they are denied the opportunity to hear alternative perspectives and evaluate candidates based on their performance in a public forum. This decision is eerily reminiscent of the 2016 Democratic primaries, where the DNC was accused of favoring Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders, limiting the number of debates, and scheduling them during less-viewed time slots.
The decision not to hold primary debates can be seen as an act of voter suppression and censorship, as it effectively denies voters the chance to hear from candidates other than the incumbent. By excluding challengers like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson from the public discourse, the DNC is attempting to control the narrative and maintain its grip on power. This move also serves to protect the party establishment and prevent any potential disruptions to their preferred candidate’s path to the nomination. In doing so, the DNC is undermining the democratic process and disempowering voters, as they are left with little choice but to accept the party’s anointed candidate."

We live in a time where personal accountability doesn't exist. Everyone is a victim. Look on the bright side though, nothing will ever be your own damn fault. But on the down side, your life will be an endless disappointment because you will rely on everyone else to bail you out of everything. Which of course they wont.

I should believe what you say? Why would I ? All you do is insult people and call them morons. Just like politicians and govt does. Your words, just like theirs are worthless and will lead to nothing but waste, fraud and corruption. Always has always will. In my 60 years of living, my critical thinking has taught me that political ideologs, politicians and govts words are empty BS lies. Nothing ever gets solved, not ever. Same shit different day. I would say the US govt is the greatest threat to the world. Not the people of the country, the Govt. I would go as far to say all govts are the greatest threat to the world. People just generally want to be left the fuck alone and live their lives in all countries. All bad things come from govts not everyday run of the mill people ruled by them. Power over people breeds evil.

The constitution says who ever in power says it says. The constitution is a subjective list of suggestions, the words really have no meaning.

@IwantRooseveltagain
"2A doesn’t say the government can’t ban certain kinds of guns." Where does it say it can. The constitution was written to limit the govts power not the rights of the people. "The Tenth Amendment reminds the national government that the people and the states retain every authority that is not otherwise mentioned in the Constitution." No where is it mentioned in the constitution that the federal govt can arbitrary ban any gun it thinks is scary. Never mind, the constitution is a collection of subjective suggestions that can be followed or ignored. The words don't really mean what they say.
Created:
2nd amendment, all arguments are moot. Don't buy a gun if you don't want one . You are more likely to be killed by your own govt or a anti gun protester than a law abiding citizen with a gun.

"Scientists have come up with an alternative for us." I stand by my statement that science is almost always wrong about the future. I do not believe EV's are a viable alternative. The alternative is to use every energy source available and I mean every energy source where it is reliable practical and cost effective. Your myopic one size fits all is a fools destination. You still don't acknowledge a world without crude oil. You stick your head in the sand and think everything will just magically be able to be made out of something else. EV's and ICE's are a tiny problem compared to a life without crude oil. You wont have either of them.

What makes you think crude oil is not a renewable resource or that we have even scratched the surface of available crude oil that already exists on the planet? Govt actively prevents looking for more. When I was in my 20's I was told ,in no uncertain terms by the greatest scientific minds to ever exist that the world would be out of oil in 40 years. Well here I am 60 years old and no shortage of oil. Where is all this oil coming from? Every non organic thing on this earth that is not made of wood or steel is made of crude oil. Quite frankly, if we run out of oil, your worries about the climate, ICE's and EV's are trivial compared to a future without crude oil.

Eh, I am not required to have a smart phone. I do have one though. It is practical and useful and serves my needs. An EV will never be affordable or practical let alone serve my needs. But I will be forced to have one in the future and will have to mortgage my house to buy the type of EV that would even come close to serving my needs.

"Do you ever consider the future, in respect of those who will exist in the future."
Ya, sure I do. But I also consider the practicality and plausibility of changes that are going to be shoved down peoples throats that will have no say in the matter.

That doesn't really answer the question of whether or not EV's can exist without being subsidized by govt. Internal combustion engines can be scaled to any size also.
