Well, if you want to call the Protestant faith a “different culture”, it would not be untrue. Catholics, although some get divorced, are less likely to get divorced. I come from a Jewish background, but have since turned to Christianity. I do not mean the lukewarm Protestant faith and its sects. Your country, even when it became Protestant, remained religious for some time. What happened? By the 19th century, the Age of Enlightenment had cemented secular, liberal thought across Europe. You and I are culturally different. When people talk about western values, they really mean to say secular values. Neither a real Christian nor a Muslim nor a Jew who remained true to their roots has anything in common with secularism.

Trump may tell lies and have the wrong policies to you, but this has nothing to do with his fitness. Trump seemingly does not have cancer, and Trump was able to engage in the campaign and become president. He was able to beat Harris. I watched the votes come in on election night in November last year; it was apparent very early on that he had won.
All politicians lie. Why are Biden's lies any better than Trump's lies? A lie is a lie. How are Kamala's awkwardness, superficial demeanor, and terrible cackling a desirable thing? Americans were tired of it. Trump has something the other politicians don't.

No. I think intellect is poorly understood, which renders it rather unimportant. A good heart, kind soul, and reverence for God are important. Intellectuals have no more good ideas about morality than tramps in the street. The Bible contains everything we need to know about God, the human, and the way we ought to be.

God blessed the planet with animals. Animals are all related to the human, His second-highest creation. Humans appear different because they possess an earthly dominion. The human has conceit and arrogance, and often less regard for the fellow human than animals have for their species.
As for other peoples marriages and divorce, they are trivia that do not interest me much.
I do not see the pain inflicted on children by adults as “trivia.” Every child deserves to be raised in a loving home, where the parents remain together. Divorce is an assault on marriage, and a torture to the children. This is, if they have children, which many divorced couples do. Divorce would also suggest that the husband or wife has betrayed their spouse (infidelity is the most common reason for divorce), and have therefore left the union in body and soul. Another common reason is “drifting apart”, which would tell us they were not committed to their spouse and never saw the marriage as a union that would last until death. Do you think society is helped by this?
Though it is just as feasible to reside contentedly with a partner and family, without all the fuss and bother of a marriage contract.
The only people who believe this are those who do not want the hassle of divorce.

A professional is anyone who does something for a living. So if you are criticizing "professionals" you are talking about literally every human being that has ever had a job, at that point everything you are criticizing becomes utterly meaningles in any practical sense.

Not only does it hurt a person spiritually, it hurts their physical body. Other excesses have the same effect. Animals exhibit a morality, a fundamental morality. The problem with we humans is that we believe we are something we are not.

Morality is manner, character, proper behavior. We are all immoral, but the sexual immorality and lack of regard for life infesting the planet are the worst sins of all. A moral person should be able to treat others well, yet not show weakness and cowardice when confronted with immorality. Prostitution is profoundly immoral, and we should not be afraid to say it. Once we stop saying it, people begin to think they are correct in their actions, despite the vile things they are faced with upon being immoral. Society becomes confused and it begins to infect the brains of our children. There is nothing good about sin.

God himself is a very complex character. What is for certain is that he wants us to pick the right path, but that not everyone is destined for the right path. The others are on the path, or they are lukewarm.
Slavery is an issue among men. When Adam and Eve were created, did God grant them a slave? He did not. They were supposed to do their own work. The idea of sexual slavery was foreign, as Adam was only given one woman, and she was to be his wife. What happened? Satan, who too had been given free will as an angel, tempted Eve who tempted Adam. God told them to not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, alas, they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Our descent into hell begins here.
What kind of God would He be if he did not give us a choice? We would be slaves.

A professional is a person who gets paid to do whatever it is they are credited the term for. Professionalism is a set of behavioral traits that mirror what we expect from someone in that position - integrity, knowledge, maturity, etc. If you are claiming you do not care about professionalism then you are saying you don't care about any of those traits.Is that what you are saying, and if so, please explain why you don't think any of that stuff matters.
I have seen and heard about too many professionals who disappoint. Some are atrocious. The traits matter, but being a so-called professional doesn't mean you have them. The humanity tends to be knocked out of these people. Open a newspaper and read about the professionals who get themselves into trouble. It is not uncommon. Sin follows us all, and what really makes one become a professional is ambition. You don't need integrity and a good heart to hold these positions.

I did not know him personally, so cannot speak to his negative qualities. The fire and passion is exhibited in his speeches and unrelenting desire to put his party in power and get on with business, some of which wasn't all bad. Saving Germany was a good idea at the time.

My point had nothing to do with a tie between obesity and leadership, I am talking about the extent to which the political right has in real life gone far beyond that which they are acusing the left of. I use the weight example not because it is critical, but because it's objective and cartoonishly ridiculous. The point there is to highlight the fact that they lie openly and without abandon when it comes to the dear leader's state.
What about his state? Being fat does not make a man incapable. They aren't sending him to lead men in battle. He is serving America from the Oval Office and has to catch planes sometimes. He also plays golf. A man who is close to expiring would probably not be playing golf.
I don't see the problem. You may dislike Trump, but to say the Republicans are “hypocrites” when Trump appears to be in moderately good shape for a man of his age, is rather absurd.

Don't you pay attention to lib talking points or the news? The cost of living is way out of whack. The average house now is 400k, whereas in the 70s it was way less even after inflation. Education costs tens of thousands when before it's a few hundred or thousand, cause they privatized colleges. Healthcare was was less now it's 18% of our gdp, which also isn't competitive with other countries who spend half as much and cover everyone with less wait times and better in general. The minimum wage in the 70s was 15 bucks after inflation and is only 7 and change now. Wages just tread water and have barely gone up after inflation over decades.

Not sure how you write this and think it makes any sense at all. People - that being every young person - should just not want homes? That's the solution? Housing prices, cost of schooling, medical debt in the case of the US - has all skyrocketed. We live in an economy that caters to the super rich. It's crazy debt and scraping by for everyone else. No financial security. Few lucky enough to have a house before middle age. Something is very wrong.
Savant is correct. Owning a home will increase demand for more homes, and this means the house prices increase.
Do you own a home? You may be adding to the problem.
