Thank Jesus that Pope Joseph RATzinger is burning in Hell!
-->
@BrotherD.Thomas
No Bro.

He will either be consumed by the fires of the crematoria or slowly decompose in a tomb somewhere.

And as the Earth begins  another journey around its GOD STAR SUN.

Will you be donning your budgie smugglers and pay homage to the Great Fiery King of Heaven Bro.

Welcome along for the ride and a Happy New Year.

Regards

Zed.

I don't think that people were so big on ethics back in the day.

A bit of inter-tribal destruction was par for the course.

Though people do like to apply ethics post-event. Which is more than a tad futile, but perhaps mentally rewarding.

So, whilst we're discussing fictional ethics and achieving mental rewards.

How ethical was the destruction of the Oliphaunts in the battle for Middle Earth.

Ignorance wins.

Ignorance is non-argument, argument.

Ignoring ignorance,

Onomatopoeic.

Or does it become so.

Trump wasn't a dictator.

He was just a tad not clever or sophisticated enough to represent the U.S. on the World Stage.

OK for simple gun toting backwoods American folk in their red caps. (Only jesting)

But a laugh at the G20.

And a tad too overtly corrupt perhaps.

Yep, exercise promotes positivity. Good brain chemistry.

ProPro, short for Protein Protein, and sounds like a little fluffy dog.

Here ProPro, good boy. (Or girl, gender neutral, non-binary or whatever.)

Where should we set up our ProPro processing plant?

Somewhere third world and highly overpopulated.

Locally sourced protein.

Well I'm an age related non-gamer.

And I am already into fitness and healthy eating. Have been for years.

No resolutions as yet.

I'm also at that age where mortality can no longer be disregarded. Just a thought relative to the very recent death and imminent cremation of my Brother in Law, who suffered an agonising demise from a genetically inherited bone/blood cancer.

In the end, I'm not sure how much difference 30 minutes a day will make. Maybe a year or two if we're lucky. Maybe a fitter and healthier year or two.

Though luck and fate are seemingly major factors.

Murdering and Children are concepts relative to electro-chemical reactions in the brain. Thinking.

With variable output relative to electro-chemical reactions in the brain. Thoughts.

Etc. Etc.

Amazing but true. Just a thought.

Or Just the way things are. Just another thought

You only think that abortion is wrong.

I only think that abortion is OK.

Whereas wrong and OK are just thoughts relative to thinking, relative to the transfer of data from currently existent and previous data sources.

All of which are internal simulations of an assumed external reality. Existence and reality are internal concepts. Externality is also an internal concept relative to acquired data. Though it would be fair to say, that acquirable data does give some credibility to the concept of an external reality.

Hence.....Universally speaking, I doubt that anything else gives a shit about the human concept of abortion. Just a though. Internally projected and then transferred and displayed as an appreciable narrative.

Whether or not you appreciate this appreciable narrative will be relative to any subsequent internal reactions which might occur in association with data previously acquired and stored in your own databases.

And into day 2 of our annual journey around the SUN STAR GOD, who knows what might be encountered on the other side.

Maybe the souls of pre-existent zygotes/embryos etc.

Or maybe not.

You choose.

No.

Things occurred previously.

And we seem to be in general agreement

Though the specifics of that agreement are a tad different.

BIG BOOM maybe,

Then more of a WHOOSH and a ROAR.

Though without ears

There was actually no noise at all

Just potential

As ever.

Waving not booming.

Humans could easily be rendered into an appetising protein.

Revulsion is all in the mind. Just acquired, stored and transferable data.

Data and data analysis, are simply, on board electro-chemical, computing functions and processes..

And protein is an essential nutrient.

Human protein could be formed into tasty chicken flavoured chunks. Just add emulsifiers etc.

And requires a nice appetising, consumer friendly name.

What could we call it?

Happy new Year.

Eternally existent, side steps the impossible beginning.

Of course, a beginning cannot have a cause because the cause requires a cause.

Notions such as finite occupied space and externally existent are simple.

And ego is as ego does.

Nonetheless, a happy new year.

There are no facts. Either for or against a GODDO.

Middle Eastern Folk Myths do not prove a super-natural being.

Just places and people and a naive universal creation theory.

@Stephen
A. As we all know Stephen, the GOD of the bible is an internal electro-chemical response to a sensory stimulus.

    Same as every other thought process and consequent output or physical action.

Though it does seem that at times, certain physical output or self destruction can be involuntary. That is to say, not preceded by, or necessitating a thought.

I digress.

Nonetheless, God of the bible is undoubtedly always an internal electro-chemical action/reaction.

Which is not to say, that externally there isn't a GODDO type thing.

But because we are always reliant upon A. It's impossible to know exactly what's going on out there.

As everything is an internally projected simulation.

How much has Christianity fucked people up psychologically?
-->
@n8nrgim
Are you a Christian a Catholic or what?

Nonetheless, data conditioning establishes a database, and people function accordingly.

So GOD data is significant to you and irrelevant for me.

We may modify our points of view over time, but not greatly.

A tendency to feel anxious relative to how we process data, is just another example of a conditioned response. (With possibly a touch of genetically inherited behaviour thrown in too. Though a separate issue).

But I think that it's fair to say that religion based angst is acquired postnatally. Considering that Christianity is basically a 2000 year old  folk tale that people teach to their kids.

Let's face it, people get hung up over all sorts of stupid stuff.

why slavery is good
-->
@BigBuffMan
The perpetrators are long since dead, so not forgiving them is more than a tad futile.

And similarly, British is as British does, an amalgamation of various Europeans and beyond, established in the 1700's.

And for centuries, previous inhabitants of the Islands of Britain were enslaved and massacred by various invaders/settlers.

Stuff happened/happens, as I said.

And you choose to focus on one point of North American history, where "The British" and various other European amalgamations, such as the French and the Spanish invaded/settled and supressed previous settlers.

And so the United States of America was established, and therefore the current plight of these previous settlers is no longer the remit of the latter day amalgamated British.

And if you've visited Britain recently you would have noticed that the latter day British are an eclectic mix, far removed from the 1700's.
