They make an effort then.
Must have a lot of time on their hands.
One must always be cautious these days, when attributing gender.

Aliens are renowned for their grilling, their inability to hold their alcohol, and a penchant for young females.
And if he is fully human he sure is an odd looking guy.
His wife is slightly more humanesque, though also has a curious upper mandible and tooth configuration.
Of course, he is half Quertermous.....An alien name if ever I heard one......Which sort of sprung into existence in the mid 1800's.
And Victoria has the same curious features as Ginger.
Don is reasonably humanesque in appearance?
So could be a selective breeding programme.
What do you think?
And then there is Nicole.....A shady character if ever there was one......I've got her face on a t-shirt I purchased in Roswell.
Defo something going on.

Not that I consider myself to be a serious debater.
But I was just curious as to why someone who had only completed 2 debates and lost 2 debates, would have a higher rating than me.
I only noticed this because I fancied a debate on free speech....Only to find that my freedom had been curtailed....LOL.

See the difference
Assess the difference
Behave relative to the difference
Behave like an asshole
Or behave respectfully.
Same applies to the person you are looking at.
Only takes a nanosecond.
Everyone is racist
But not everyone behaves like an asshole.

It takes a comic genius to stand hilariously.
And if they did it with two people, that makes it a threesome.
Left, right or centre?

The Garden of Eden according to Mrs Zed, is out the back.
Which also includes out the front.
She now want's me to build a folly, and a second water feature in the back yard.
And then there's the side bit.
Mrs Zed watches too much Gardeners World.
Just thought that I would interject with a bit of levity.
Now of you go boys and/or girls.

So now you're a LEGALIST?
Oh dear, poor response.....Sort of floundering really.
The grumpy old git got you there.
Sorry....I'm just flicking about making observations.

Me, I'm an enlightened old Brit git.

All depends upon ones definition of work.
Despite media gloss.....The more that one has, the harder such a lifestyle is to maintain.
And material wealth doesn't necessarily breed contentment.
Though a lack of material wealth will breed jealousy if one allows it to.

The system is racist because the system is racist.
What more should we expect from a multi-racial system, where we base all our judgements upon what we perceive.
(The inevitability of sensory perception and internal data management.)
The best that we can offer in terms of output, is understanding and tolerance......Which we must firstly acquire.
Therefore, systems must evolve, and systems evolve very very slowly.
Quick fixes just harbour resentment.

Youngsters full of attitude and sexual angst.

I enjoyed the Men in Black movies though.
Chris Rock....Never heard of him before this thread.

The appeasement of human nature is not really work, is it?
The way that the Church is structured relative to social doctrine, is inevitably self destructive because it seeks to suppress human nature.
Fine for the Sunday morning hat brigade, because they can go home, do what the hell they like, secure in the knowledge that the have been temporarily absolved of their sins.....Until next Sunday.....Unless they have been extremely naughty and require a bit of midweek absolution of course.
Not quite so easy for Father Ted.

A very balanced response.
Though, I think that all tattooing is unnecessary, the odd concealed badge of honour or bowing to trend is OK.
I was particularly referring to extensive, unconcealable and deliberate body tattooing, which clearly and perceivably disfigures. (See RM's extreme examples)
Look at me, do I look amazing?
No, look at you, you look a f****** mess.
And you will continue to look a mess until the day you die.....So why would you do that?

It's the system.
We're all slaves to our own existence anyway.
And if you think about it realistically, life is actually a curse with an inevitable end.
I would suggest that the enslaving of the organic computer, is the will of creation, material evolution and the universe.....(GOD principle.....But not to be confused with a floaty about bloke of Middle Eastern origin).

For most blokes between the ages of approximately 16 and 60, life is a "dick measuring contest".....It's the inevitability of male existence
From there on in, it's fingers crossed that it's going to continue functioning reasonably well as a waste outlet.....This is also the inevitability of male existence.

With awe then.
Elements of Christian based Muslim type fanaticism
Sort of based upon Clint Eastwood and all those previous movie gunslingers.

I agree.
And I was generalising.
Mental health covers all aspects of internal data management and associated problems, or what we might perceive to be problematic irrational behaviour.
And for sure, "normal" is only an assumption relative to an imprecise and variable standard. Well exemplified by the social acceptance of extensive body disfigurement as something of a norm.

@RationalMadman
I'm not mocking anyone.
I expressed my opinion regarding extensive and permanently disfiguring tattoos. Well exemplified by the images you provided.
And I also question the state of mind of people who decide to do such a thing.
And as I stated, the odd hidden whimsical tattoo, is ok, but still unnecessary.....In my opinion.
And I work in the Pharmacy business, and experience tells me that there is a definite link between extensive tattooing/piercing and mental health issues.

For sure, family is one of those words that lacks precise definition. Though the more detached from the nuclear family one gets, the more the family becomes just a group of individuals. Often only bound by oppression and fear, which do not necessarily guarantee loyalty.
And military organisations and mafia only exist because of lack of consensus in society.
And I'm not sure if right and wrong or agreement are the issues as far as the individual is concerned, I would suggest that it's more a case of survival instinct. Therefore consensus isn't necessary.

I suppose it depends upon how one chooses to define disfigurement.

When you only have two real choices, you either vote for someone or you don't bother.
And if politics and politicians boils down to nothing more than a media circus, you either switch off or pick your favourite clown.
Unfortunately the moderate majority of Americans is always left without any real choice.
And the nature of existence relative to time and material evolution, dictates that society must progress, irrespective of political persuasion.
And demands of a progressive society have increased the cost of living, so standards of living for the less competitive will inevitably stagnate or decrease....Doesn't matter if you're a hillbilly redcap, or a flag waving LGBTQ etc activist.
So the conservative/liberal dichotomy, is an assumption largely relative to inherited misinformation.

Well, very noble thoughts indeed.
But:
Protect yourself, only requires the consensus of one....So not a consensus really.
Protect your family, depends upon the integrity of the family.
Protect your property.....In the face of extreme adversity, you either fight or flea.

Why do you rely largely upon Fuller for your inspiration and ideas?

No Viking blood here.
Interestingly the differentiation between Germanic and Viking is one step across the border, which was who knows where in the tenth century.
Though the homogenisation of all Northern and Western European tribes was well underway by the tenth century
To make any definitive judgements about ones inherency, I would suggest that DNA analysis would be the best course of action.
Especially when taking into considering the migration of people prior to this period, particularly with regard to the Roman Empire.
N.B. I just use the 10th century as a general reference point.

The trouble is Stephen.
For those who wish to perpetuate this bit of recent history, the issue isn't really about slavery.
The issue is a black and white thing.....Commonly referred to as racism....And a two way transaction.
The inevitability of perceivable difference, that will never go away until we have achieved total homogenisation.
But try telling that to the Ruskies and the Chinese.

The mental plane is the physical plane, in so much as all that you have decided to promote now, is a varied outcome of a modified thought processes.
The self is all one system....So the idea that one can transcend the system, is simply the idea that one can transcend the system.
It's just the same old data, but put together differently.
Nonetheless, I'm not convinced of your sincerity anyway.

Enlightenment.
Is a hairy fairy notion of specialness, achieved by going ommmmmmmmm....Together with a group of similarly special people also going ommmmmmmmmmmm.
Usually with a typical wardrobe style.....In a special location suitably adorned with suitable trinkets and whiffy things.
All comes with it's own inherent levels of stress and anxiety though.....
Relative to everyone else, who is not deemed to have achieved an enlightened level of specialness. Easily identified by their wardrobe style and inability to sit in the lotus position for hours and go ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Lotus position.....Yep Yoga too.

What can be regarded as X is not necessarily X.
Exactly my point.
Just depends upon which side of a line we view things from.
Ascend to the realm of formality and precision.
Fabulously informal and imprecise.
Just depends...............
But are they both authoritarian?
It they deem it so.
True or false, right and wrong.
For sure......Concepts all.

#11
An ambiguity of contradictions.
The term Oligarch is one that is typically applied to wealthy Russian business-people with political influence.
A term that can be applied anywhere though.....Think of some wealthy American business-people with political influence who you might actually respect.
Progressive is a very loose term, meaning social reform.
Though reforming What to what?
An Oligarch will more than likely always be progressive....Even if we don't agree with their notion of progressive reform.
Communism is a philosophical daydream.....Which in practice, stops the moment it starts.
And if one analyses it, conservative might or might not be regressive, depending upon context.

Let me help you.
Anti-authority might mean pro-anarchy.
Or might not.
Created:
Posted in:

@ADreamOfLiberty
Trouble is.
Your argument has found the need to descend into the realm of semantics.
So like it or not "anti" just means opposed to or against, which in terms of definition has little or no prerequisites.
A. can oppose B......And B. can oppose A.
And both can deem the other to be authoritarian....Which simply depends upon who finds what authoritarian.
The legal enforcement of liberal values, is no different to the legal enforcement of conservative values....Both can be regarded as oppressive.
The obvious difference though, might be found in the methodology of oppression, rather than in the dictionary.
I would suggest that your view of authoritarianism, is gained from a biased viewpoint.
Which of course, is only to be expected.....And not a criticism.

If you look back at some of my older stuff you will see that I am into re-occurence, or re-initation, as I refer to it.
That is to say, the re-initiation of an eternal process.....Of which, organic intelligence is an essential part.
Still leaves one huge unanswerable question though.
