Why do Muslims always deflect to the Bible?
-->
@Dynasty
Muslims deflect to the bible, because Judeo-Christianity is the basis of Islam.

Same basic revelation of GOD, but an altered approach some time in the 7th century.

The new approach can only be qualified, by deflecting to the old sequences of recorded data.

Everyone is sceptical,

Until science becomes indisputable.

Though there are always those who will  be deliberately sceptical,

Even if the scientific outcome is indisputable.

Flat Earthers,

Or theistic creationists,

For example.

Are homosexual natures created by nurture, nature, or God?
-->
@GnosticChristianBishop
"Sexuality" is just another concept,

Relative to a physiological necessity.

Sex acts are real and as such nature.

Settling down with your boyfriend and getting a puppy is seemingly, inevitable overthink.

And you will understand what you want to understand.....Relative to your need to justify what it is you need to justify.

Your foolish thinking hinders and blocks your understanding.
Sadly, you finish with a sarcastic jibe, that clearly speaks volumes about of your own predicament.

Though I would not be so ungracious as to refer to you as foolish.

So, you put a cross in a box.

But deliberately in the adjacent box,

As an expression of the duality,

Of quantum mechanical disparity.

And the fundamental laws,

Of indeterminate clarity.

And the bastards, misinterpret it,

By making things,

Conveniently inconvenient.

I declare Mark Penn,

An utterly appropriate name.

Genocide is the dark side of the species.

And as I stated, A GOD is a concept.......In the head of the species.

Therefore A GOD can be good, bad or indifferent, relative to what we are led to believe.

Sadly, humanity as a whole, is not a cohesive unit.....So collective data, varies between social sub-groups.

Such is the price of Earthbound intelligence.

Though the UNIVERSE is far greater than an organically coated speck of cosmic dust.

Whether or not material evolution, including species evolution, extending to the evolution of ALTERNATIVE INTELLIGENCE, has any greater significance beyond the constraints of our solar system is yet to be confirmed.

So I will continue to bow in deference to our one true GOD and giver of life....THE SUN.

But, disrespect that which the SUN gives......And it will be capable of genocide on a scale, before unseen.

And I doubt that there is ANOTHER FLOATY ABOUT BLOKE GOD with an off button.

You know.....The one in the story books with the BIG BEARD.....Likes to fuck virgins.....And then Piss off around the universe for what seems like an eternity.....Leaving a poor itinerant carpenter to bring up his bastard son.

OP Issues answered directly.

Your inability to understand.

Is because?

I assumed that you were clever enough.

In fact I still do.

But just in case you're not:

Gay sex is a sociological contrivance, relative to sexual necessity and the constraints of human society.

In that sense Gay Sex is both nature and nurture, but definitely no GOD.

And what we are really discussing is the MORALITY of a sex act, relative to the developed constraints and consequential  taboos of human society.

MORALITY is a judgemental concept, also relative to the developed constraints and consequential taboos of human society.

In short....Intelligence comes with a price.

Or more accurately....Our developed ability to acquire, store, modify and output data, inevitably causes us to overthink.....Hence GOD and  MORALITY, which despite a more liberal Western culture, still inhibits freedom of expression and necessitates interminable justification for a sex act.

I was primarily challenging your use of the word authentic.

A scientific conclusion may or may not be authentic.

Similarly though, a scientific conclusion may not be sensible, therefore literally non-sense.

Though that is not to denigrate genuine scientific research, whereby a non -sense conclusion might eventually lead to the establishment of factual data.

I'm not sure if authenticity is relevant.

Science could just as easily conclude in authentic nonsense,  as it could in authentic sense.

Whether or not we can distinguish between fact and fantasy is more important.

And unless we understand the science we have no way of deciding, other than the assurance of people who we choose to put our trust in.

A Zedku for GCB. AKA. DL.

I will reiterate,

And probably be ignored.

But the issues of procreational potential,

And recreational possibility,

Get conflated.

And overstated.

Gay sex is a common and long standing,

Recreational activity,

And the outshooting stuff,

Has procreational potential,

Not necessarily essential.

But.

Society has developed in such a way,

That we do not  function as we first did,

Such is  the nature of intelligence,

And the development of thoughts,

And inhibitions.

Makes us think

Contrary to instinct.

So Alpha Male,

Fucks the females,

And in between times,

Others do what is necessary,

To relieve those innate,

Stresses.

Perhaps wear dresses.

Though,

Population,

7.9 billion and counting,

So no need to fret,

Yet.

And I'm guessing that,

DL,

Does not Label as Alpha.

And,

PS. Mustn't forget,

GOD is, a mind set.

Zed

GOD is a concept relative to a concept.

And so therefore can be conceptually genocidal or not, relative to a particular data construct.

And if one cherry picks extreme bits of human society, one will find stuff contrary to our own conditioning, that we can classify as unlikeable.

And for sure, Middle Eastern storytellers have got a lot to answer for.

Not a lot we can do, other than teach our own kids the facts of the matter.

There is indoctrination into everything.

It's a fact of ongoing data transfer, relative to the evolved ability to acquire store and utilise data,

And therefore a fact of life.

And one persons indoctrinated morality, is another persons indoctrinated immorality.

Such is human social development at this moment in Earth time.

And what will happen in the next two thousand years, is what will happen.

And might worry us for a limited period.

Extremely well stated Benjamin.

But consider a universal intent, where methodology only utilises organic intelligence, rather than is all about organic intelligence.

Perhaps it's just not necessary for everyone to be aware of the truth.

As long as human society functions in a way that progresses material evolution, then maybe we shouldn't concern ourselves so much with the quality of trivial day to day mass data transfer.

Maybe everything is actually functioning just as it should be.

Accurate data is a need to know thing.

And very few people possess the need to know thing.

To not nice stuff that people do,

To each other,

Counter to the concept of niceness,

Usually relative to physical or mental anguish,

As in pain,

And suffering.

No GOD actually required.

Unless one has been appropriately conditioned of course.

Then the World's your Oyster,

As I keep saying.

A GOD......As in any eternal floaty about humanesque idea, exists only as a transferable data concept.

So obviously no actual eternal  floaty about bloke, known as yet.

But certainly an ongoing idea relative to an evolved  earthbound, complex organism.

Nonetheless we cannot rule out the possibility of an even more complex,  evolved universal system.

Which could be referred to as GOD, or BOB, or BOOM.

Though GOD or BOB or BOOM must come either before or after something even more profound....Namely, nothingness.

When considering everything,

We tend to disregard nothingness.

Belief is not the same as internal data storage.

You are as aware of atheism as I am of theism.

So on this basis I can similarly say, that everyone doesn't believe in GOD.

Though I would not be so arrogant as to say GOD.

But rather, A GOD principle.

Though to be fair, in conclusion you do repent for this sin.

And a sixth view might say that there might or might not be a GOD principle, but there is currently no way of knowing.

And a seventh view might say that GOD is a cheese and pickle sandwich in a motorway service station.

And so on.

Such are the variable possibilities of the unknown.

@Dr.Franklin
Well , just read your dictionary Doc.

But basically, the God principle is an internal construct, collectively and variously used to represent something that cannot actually be understood.

The GOD principle has been around for as long as Hominids have been able to internally formulate, store and remember more complex sequences of data.

So not just for two thousand years.

Despite what you have been conditioned to accept Doc, the GOD of your BIBLE, is no more than a made up character, in one of many representative creation stories.

For me the GOD principle only represents that which might afford the Universe a purpose.

But of course there maybe no purpose.

Such is the basic unanswerable conundrum Doc.

And the Virgin Mary, Jesus and his absentee father are only data in a comparatively recent book, subsequently transferred even more recently to inside your head.

Concepts Doc.

I would love to see you snort.

And the reason why there are so many religious discussions, is because it is the most controversial topic.

Topics such as abortion, sexuality and politics vie for second place.

Though such secondary topics can easily be woven into religious discussion.

For example:

Does a GOD exist and does it condone abortion?

Does it condone homosexuality and other sexual variations,

And is it Republican or Democrat or Chinese?

Bad is a concept relative to the concept of good.

People do things is the bottom line.

Some things we like,

And somethings we don't like.

And some people like things that we don't like,

And some people don't like things that we do like.

And in the same vein,

A miracle is just something that happens,

Not by magic,

But because it can.

Miracle is a concept relative to actual possibility.
