@Grugore
It is the weakness of beholder that creates the harassment.
If I considered that RM was being ridiculous then I would just ignore him.
After all, ignorance is bliss.

And who is going to trade with who?
Wouldn't it be nice if space exploration could be a little bit more altruistic and a little less profit based.

Repulsion is an assumed response relative to how an individual has been repressively conditioned.
I was brought up to be open minded and never really consider what other people might or might not do to each other.
I personally think that people who are always thinking and worrying about other peoples sexual behaviour are somewhat perverse and therefore any criticism that they might proffer is always going to be somewhat bigoted.

Unusually, quite a lot of common sense in this post.

Typically these days we tend to over complicate issues.

Isn't it an indicator of the stupidity of the modern human condition that we worry about drinking?
Being aware of the need to drink should be instinctive.
Maybe it's a genetic flaw.

Not to worry.
Mankind will probably be redundant soon.
In universal and evolutionary terms, the concept of poverty is meaningless.
All that matters is the fulfilment of our evolutionary purpose and it is only people with the ability to achieve this purpose that are important.
And we always make sure that these people are well looked after.

What else other than the human mind can generate objectivity?
Or are you saying that objectivity is a fallacy?

And what purpose or benefit would there be in deceiving people into believing that the Earth is spherical when it is actually flat?
Just seems like a total waste of time to me.

Your example is counterintuitive, because the resolution is actually absurd and the counter argument is logical.

@SamStevens
Was the egg relative to the layer or the " slightly more chicken-y bird"?
It was the layer that produced the egg. So perhaps the egg wasn't actually "chicken-y" enough to be regarded as the first chickens egg.
Therefore if the egg was non-"chicken-y", then obviously the chicken came first and then started laying true "chicken-y" eggs.

Dear mustardness.
Yes. I took your advice and went for a hike with some family members and my little terrier Bod yesterday.
The Stiperstones are in a very beautiful part of Shropshire. A bracing walk there followed by tea and cake in the Bog Visitor centre was extremely enjoyable.
I hope you had a good day too.
Regards.

No offence but.
Metaphor really isn't a strong point of people on these debating websites.
Maybe it's an age thing.

If I write tran#y you'll no exactly what I mean.
And when I was a kid we did actually refer to a radio receiving device as a tran#y.
And stupidity will probably be the downfall of mankind.

My! Your frustration speaks volumes.
I was actually responding to RationalMadman's comments.
And rationality, logic and common sense?
And your "threads"?

Biological life is mostly atomic space.
In this respect life is just an illusion or a projection.

Theoretically speaking.
The new God is yet to be created.
And churches and fancy hat's.
And sing a song.
And hallelujah and all that nonsense.
And it all seems real enough at the time.

You can make up any word and use it to represent anything you want it to .
But you can't alter reality.

Most around where?
And space is.
And time and matter might be reduced to a point of possibility or impossibility.
And then what?
And God might be the knowledge and the information.
And I do not know anything for certain and neither does mustardness.

When was the normative decided and by whom?
I see you that don't have a problem with the word enjoy. Isn't enjoy indicative of something other than gender?
Where do you think mankind is heading with it's new multi-gender trend?
Perhaps this is evolution in progress.

And is gender defined by the type of underwear that we enjoy wearing?
