@IlDiavolo
In terms of World stability, I think that China is the biggest player these days.
The USA and NATO a close second.
Russia along with Bela Russia have few real allies, so are caught between a rock and a hard place.
I can't really see WW3 happening soon.
Tough call for Ukraine though, so we must keep supporting them and try and keep China as neutral as possible.
And it's always been the way that the world is populated by a majority of decent people, and a minority of arseholes.
Stay decent and choose somewhere safe to keep your head down and out of trouble.
Nice to communicate with you, and all the best for the New Year.

Myths contain evidence of actuality and tales of mystery.
Though tripping over myths won't prove anything more than we already do and don't know.
But we can interpret to our hearts content.
Mystery GOD, disappeared.
When it returns, give me a shout.
Because currently my heart is content.

The "agendas" are usually the necessity of the people paying the scientists.
Though science and scientific method is often misinterpreted.
And proper scientists are often maligned in the same way that you portray them.
I would suggest that you are confusing true science with an agenda driven opinionated reinterpretation of science.

Ok.
So would you say that there is a generally respected commonality in being South American.
Over here, South and Central America gets very little positive media exposure, most Brits see it is a land of dictators, drug gangs and violence.
Such is the medias necessity to dwell on negativity I suppose.
Such has become the publics morbid obsession with dictators, drugs gangs and violence.
Of course we also see the occasional natural history stuff, though this is nearly always dogged with doom and gloom human inspired devastation scenarios.

Ok.
So where do you reside?
And I'm sure that there are dodgy Americans, but I never met any when I was there.
And most people only consider politics when pushed to consider politics....There are far more pressing things to get on with.

Hello janesix.
Good to see that you are back.
I hope that despite your concerns, you are actually well.
For sure, everything you think that you know is actually a simulation of everything you think is knowable.
Fact is, your brain makes it all up .
Even the thinking bit...You think that you think, as it were.
So your existence can only ever be a temporary assumption.
And therefore we can only assume that we do actually interact with a material universe.

Interesting.
As it is only "convincing" that causes us to accept and then transfer GOD data.
The onus falls upon theists to prove that a GOD exists.
Because I don't need to bother to prove that it doesn't.
Because theists cannot prove that a GOD exists.
That is:
A God, as in a magical floaty about bloke.
Though, GOD principle remains sound... But unexplained.

Might have been me.
I've forgotten my DDO name though.
Possibly SonofCharl.
But I don't think that I've ever had a downer on Londoners.
Not that I ever visit London
I'm not keen on big cities.
The British are like all people, some are friendly and a few are arseholes.
I will be friendly with anyone that is prepared to reciprocate.
And I will just ignore the arseholes.
But on the whole we get along fine here in Britain.
What about you and your American cousins? (I'm assuming that you live in the USA)

Good fun.
Practice will make perfect.
Sore knees and shoulders is probably down to not riding a bike for 15 years.
Though always make sure the saddle and handlebars are adjusted to suit your physique.
Very wet and windy in Wales, so relying on my exercise bike quite a bit at the moment.
Hopefully will have a great cycling year ahead of me.
And hopefully we will be able to keep in touch for another year.

Technically speaking, one doesn't shave one's vagina.
As the vagina is actually the internal muscular tube that links the outer bits to the inner bits.
One shaves one's pussy, but not one's pussy cat, as it were.
And sports girls bottoms clad with modern technical fabrics are an endless source of fascination for sure.
Though I doubt that my Lycra clad bottom inspires much fascination theses days...But you never know who's looking. do you Deb?
Hope you enjoyed/are enjoying the end of the year Deb.
Oh, and I often wonder why the rear central region is known as the bottom, when clearly the feet are at the bottom.

Me?
I'm primarily an Earthling of the species Homo-sapiens, and secondly British as dictated by international recognition of nationhood.
I live in a region of the British Isles that is referred to as Wales.
English is a European post-Roman derived concept, inspired by the aspirations of previously existent people/settlers/invaders, and maintained by those who choose to dwell on such thoughts.
Fact is, current British residents are a mish-mash of all sorts, from all over the Globe....Rather like most Earthlings.

@ Sam_Flynn.
At the point of decision making, I'm not sure that any political system actually regards the majority.
Collective decisions that reach the statute books are made by a select handful of people.
Based upon the knowledge that most people are too busy and/or disinterested.
As for the average Joe's day to day existence, he will disregard the law if he feels so compelled. Within this context right and wrong are temporary notions not affected by a greater external authority.
That's how it always has been.
Though whether the individual will be always able to retain freedom of thought, is a moot point. I think that thought policing is a serious technological possibility.

I think that it's best to view human activity and it's outcomes, as a natural process.
And therefore "climate change" and it's outcomes, likewise.
And in the same vein, addressing issues or not.
A large scale reduction in human population would perhaps be beneficial.
As long as the truly important people survive.
And I guess that they will.
Of course in the long term, there maybe nothing of Universal importance relying upon the success of Earth based activity.

It is not likely that your preference is achievable.
In fact I would say that it is likely to be not possible
Though I would never say never at all.
Preventative data abounds.
Created:

@n8nrgim
So you have evidence.
I've not argued that you don't have evidence.
Nonetheless, no matter how many accounts you have, your evidence is still anecdotal and cannot be scientifically scrutinized.
Unless you can induce out of body events/near death experiences at will, whereby it can be ascertained whether or not such events are actually external to the subject or just internal imagery.
I think that it's also fair to say that certain people will be conditioned to have/prefer a spiritual/metaphysical way of thinking, and will therefore respond accordingly during incidences of extreme mental stress/anguish.

The problem with the human world is humans.
And we can discuss at length all the bits that are problematic.
And then go on and do all our usual daily stuff,
And then go to sleep,
And then start all over again,
If we survive, that is.
And one day the Sun will engulf the Earth, by which time we may have already moved on to create problems elsewhere.
If we survive, that is.
Or if human assisted intelligence survives.
Though perhaps human assisted intelligence might not view things quite so problematically.
Which is not to suggest that problem solving is not a means to an end.
Nonetheless what I would suggest, is that a global human society evolved upon this grain of cosmic sand over the past few hundred thousand years or so, exactly as it did.
And it will continue to evolve as it will, relative to problem solving, for as long as is humanly possible.
Thing is:
If everyone was rich would anything get done?

Perhaps we created the maths to suit the physics.
And perhaps we evolved to be conscious because it as an inevitable consequence of life.
And therefore, perhaps we created the Math because we undoubtedly would.
And perhaps everything evolved to be as it is, because it was an inevitable consequence of material existence.
And why that would be, is perhaps more staggeringly profound than the physics itself.
Which is not to suggest that the physics of material development and structure is not staggeringly profound.

One assumes that reality is everything that occurs.
As an exercise in classification, reclassifying gender-type is no different to any previous gender classification exercise.
The application of different criteria is just a modification of the exercise.
Reality evolves as ideas evolve, as data is transferred and established and potential is recognised and utilised.

The evidence is insufficient and cannot be scrutinized scientifically.
Is it possible to create out of body experiences on demand in a controlled environment, so that they can be recorded and studied comprehensively?
As anecdotal evidence is not reliable.

Something or nothing.
Your guess is as good as mine.
Unfortunately for me and others.

I would suggest that current situations always depended upon good fortune.
Please share if you do.
Et tu, Brute?
Length is associated with a finite existence set.
Length is synonymous with duration and both are certainly associated with finite existences.
Though whether or not everything is finite, in so much as everything will eventually reach a point of infinite nothingness, is not so certain.
Given that we are reasonably sure that our existence is a reality.
Therefore, not necessarily a one off duration of everything.
Humans have arrived at physical laws.
And there maybe many more yet to be visited.

I would suggest that home is where one needs to be warm, especially as one ages.
And here in the UK, heating costs have risen significantly over the past few years.
In my job I visit elderly people, and it is now all too apparent that very few can afford to heat their properties during the daytime.
They rely on dressing in outdoor clothing to stay warm, or even staying in bed when things get really cold.
Mountains are great, but just consider how much time you spend up and down mountains, compared to how much time you spend at home.
And do you think that you will spend more time up and down mountains when you retire?

Yes, I maybe see your problem.
You currently display a limited capacity to assess and assimilate new and slightly more complex data sequences.
Relying heavily on well established profanities.
My vocabulary and understanding of words and language has certainly benefited from my online debating experiences, especially here on Dart.
You have dictionaries and other good reference material at your finger tips, so my advice to you would be to look, research, learn and apply constructively

As one gets older one becomes more aware cooler temperatures.
Wales is never particularly warm.
I could afford to retire to Spain or Portugal.
But I'm too set in my ways.
My advice is:
Find your perfect niche whilst you're still young.
Factoring in the necessities for a comfortable retirement.
Sunshine and warmth will be key factors.

GOD principle is that which might be responsible.
One can say no more.
Though one can speculate wildly, variously and extensively.
And come to no certain conclusions.
Thing is, we can only base our thinking on NOW.
Whereas the future of the Universe is likely to be very very lengthy.
So relative to Universal potential we are grossly lacking in knowledge,

In a broad sense it is evidence.
Though not evidence that will lead to anything conclusive.
I think that the intensity of brain activity in cases of near death events is well documented, though obviously the subjects of near death events do not die.
So it is certainly possible that such events will generate accurate memories of intense internal imaging.
Though this falls way short of evidence of an afterlife.
