Welcome to another debate between me and the usual RationalMadman. Hope you enjoy the show.
Islam Overview
For those who are unaware of what Islam actually is, it is a monotheistic religion which is a way of life more than just culture. Muslims follow the teachings of all the prophets as well as the Quran. The Quran is actually a book which is a guide of how to live life more than a story telling book. I will not understand those who say Islam promotes violence, you can look at my other debates and look at my points for these. Today I will be giving my introduction argument, I am quite short of time, and hopefully will give an overview on why Islam is the truth.
Miracles
There are many miracles in the Quran as well as the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) sayings. I will list them all below.
21:31 'Do not the disbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were a closed-up mass (ratqan), then We opened them out? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? - Big Bang
51:48- And We have built the heaven with might and We continue to expand it indeed.- Expansion of the universe
42:30- “And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and of whatever living creatures (dābbah) He has spread forth in both. And He has the power to gather them together (jam-‘i-him) when He will so please.”- Extra-terrestrial life
78:7-8- “Have We not made the earth a bed, And the mountains as pegs?”- Geology
27:89- “The mountains that you see, you think they are stationary while they are constantly floating like the floating of clouds. Such is the work of Allah Who made everything firm and strong
31:11- “…He has placed in the earth firm mountains (rawāsiya) that it may not quake with you…- Mountains and earthquakes
21:30- Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and then We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?- Extraordinary
These are only some of the miracles in the Quran, there are a few more.
Let me tell you something. Days in the Quran are not specified. 1 day can be 10000 years. This miracle is really special. I will give 2 quotes below.
"Allah created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six days" (7:54).
Do you verily disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two Days (41:9)
You may think this is a contradiction but I can assure you not. 6 days:2 days. 3:1. It is a 3 to 1 ratio. It means the earth is 1/3 as old as the universe, something which scientists recently discovered.
Another miracle is this.
“…And you will see barefoot naked poor shepherds/Bedouins vying with one another in the construction of buildings…”

Where is the tallest building? Dubai right? What was Dubai 50-60 years ago? A desert right? Are people barefooted in a desert? Yes. There were people constructing buildings in Dubai 50 years ago, there was a documentary, forgot the name of it, and it showed the barefooted people building. Could just be a chance.
In the battle between the Persians and the romans, the Persians beat the romans completely, almost to the point that the romans would have gone extinct. This is what the Quran had to say about it. '"The Romans have been defeated. In a land close by; but they will soon be victorious-Within a few years. Allah's is the command before and after; and on that day the believers shall rejoice." [Quran 30:2-4] '. Even though the Romans were defeated in a horrible manner, still they came back and defeated the Persians in a few years time. Another chance?
In another instance, the Prophets uncle (Abu Talib) was a disbeliever. This is what the Quran had to say about it. “May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. He will burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame.” [al-Masad 111: 1-3]. This verse got revealed years before he died. He hated Islam very much, and hated his nephew. All he had to do, to prove Islam wrong was to convert to a Muslim. Yet he died as a disbeliever.
There are other prophecies and miracles, I can't expand on them all.
The Quran itself
The Quran has not been changed. 1400 years ago when it was revealed, it has stayed the same. The reason for this is because the Prophet had memorised it, then his companions and generations upon generations have passed and still people to this day are memorising it. There are over 100 million memorisers of the Quran today. The Quran has stayed the same, unlike the Bible and Torah.
Words and Linguistics of the Quran
If we look at the Quran, and read it, it is like no other book. 1 word in Arabic can equate to a phrase or even an entire sentence.

The word life is mentioned the same number of times as death
Angels the same number of times as devils
Good deeds same number as bad deeds
Belief the same as disbelief
All the miracles that I have mentioned, there are eye witnesses and reports of all of them. I can provide them in the next round if Con wants them.
There is a Birmingham Manuscript of the Quran and it has been carbon dated all the way to the Prophets lifetime (PBUH)
This is only a brief overview on why Islam is the truth, there is no religion like it. I look forward to hearing Cons response. I am running out of time, so it hasn't been as deep as I wanted it to be.
So far my opponent has tried to prove that within the 114 chapters of the Quran, each with hundreds of verses, that a few verses allude to hypotheses such as big bang theory which are correct and thus true.
Even if Islamic Scripture has a minute percentage of accidental accuracy within it, this does notprove that the rest of it is itself truth.
Pro has not given use definitions to work with.

Many peculiarities are there before we can say that it is the truth and Islam is not the scripture, the scripture is actually the adultered version of the spoken, sung Quranic verses which is the then authentic Islamic doctrine.

I really do not get Con here. The Quran is not a book in which it has to prove itself to be true. The truth is all around us. How was the universe created? The only logical answer is God. The creator of the universe must not be restricted by any dependencies of this universe, nor has to have a beginning nor an end. The creator of this universe must be some sort of entity and cannot be nothing, as this doesn't exist. Our brains can come to a rationality that God exists, whether you believe what I said or not, it is the logic that us humans have the capabilities to produce. Not only is Con ignorant of this, but he has refused to accept that 'a few verses' don't point out to the truth. The Quran is a book that gives Muslims a way of life, it is not a science book. However it has miracles, all of which could not have been known 1400 years ago at the time of the Prophet (PBUH) when there was merely not enough scientific advancements. And it isn't just the Quran, Hadith too. I have provided these verses and Con has not refuted any nor has he challenged any. He has just pointed out that 'a few verses' is not enough. But it is of course enough.
I never even gave a few verses, I gave a lot. Also not just verses, but the Quran itself. Never been changed. The linguistics have not been challenged either nor has the wording. Con has not responded to anything from the verses all the way to day being written 365 times and month 12 times. Con has lazily responded maybe due to an ill schedule or time difference. However his claims are not enough to refute mine nor challenge them in any significant way.

Yet again, the Quran is not a scientific book. However miracles are all around it. These are not 'accidental' miracles as I gave at least 15 and there are hundreds more from both the Quran and Hadith. For it to be accidental, it must not be widespread. By this I mean, there must be an 'accidental miracle or 2' in a verse and not be in any other verses. However we keep seeing these miracles in the Quran from start to finish, the Quran itself and the Hadith. How on earth are these accidental?

Con has not refuted anything. Why would I give definitions, I am sure 99% of quotes that I gave did not need any definitions to work with. It is a complete fallacy to need definitions with every claim I make, scripture I give and explanation I produce.

Con is a little confused here. Let me give him an enlightenment. Gambling is a sin because you are putting money into something where you won't know the outcome, your money may be lost which causes depression. Everything that is haram is haram for a reason. There is nothing that is haram that is good for you. As well as this, Allah being real has no connotations with gambling. I can prove that God exists (I am sure Con knows that Allah is Arabic for God) if con wants me to, I have given miracles, I have in my opinion given proof where it would be impossible for the Quran and the Prophet (PBUH) know all this information 1400 years ago.

Islam does not let one eat beef either if not halal. Halal food is actually an extremely big misconception. People may think that halal food causes the animal harm, but Islam teaches to cut the animal from the jugular vein so it is not in pain and dies instantly and this reduces suffering. The animal cannot be around other animals either and this is a fair way to kill animals, by not sharing the pain. Pork is considered to be dirty, can give serious health concerns and is not allowed in the religion of Islam. But this does not have any correlation to prove that Islam is not the truth, as Pro wants to do. It is simply a rule. It is as if I say 'my country allows guns' and then I want to prove my country is not real. No sense.
Then the polygamy. Yes Islam allows polygamy but rules must be followed. The Quran states this, 'then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one- 4:3.
This means if a man cannot provide nor cope with marrying more than 1 wife, then only marry 1. The man has to provide the wife with whatever she pleases. The reason why a woman cannot marry more than 1 man is split into many sub reasons. The first one is there was no DNA testing back then, so no one would know who the father was, and this is a problem because the father is the person who teaches the kid about Islam etc. If a man marries 4 wives then you would know who the mother and father is. The next reason is because if a woman marries 4 men and she has 2 kids each with each father then that is 8 kids. These 8 kids will live in a house with 4 potential fathers, if they do not know the DNA results. As well as this, men are sometimes too dominant and can be abusive to the one woman. The woman has to provide for the men and her children and will have too much stress on her as women are biologically more emotional. Then a problem if the man gets abusive is extreme and the firepower of each man will have a detrimental toll on her etc.

First of all, Quranic verses are not sung. Secondly, Con has not proved these miracles, nor the changing of the Quran, not the existence of God, nor the linguistics of the Quran, nor the Quran as a miracle, nor the Hadith miracles, nor the miracles of the Prophet to be untrue. So my point still stands, Islam is the truth.
Conclusion
Con has given nothing to this debate. Refuting without evidence, refusing acknowledgement of the miracles and all of its contents and an absolute ignorance towards Islam, bias has gotten in the way with no common sense.
Even if submission to Allah is done and adhered to, it cannot be the state of veing true or in accordance with reality.
Islam can be true, it cannot be the truth and Pro has proved neither, only that not all of it is false.

My original point was that Islam is the truth. Not only did I provide evidence from miracles but Con has not refuted that these miracles are false and it leaves the question, how did the Quran know of this 1400 years ago?
Con stated (paraphrasing) that Islam can be true but not entirely. Let me break it down.
There must and can only be 1 God. The reason for this is because the universe is dependant. The universe cannot make a universe nor can the universe come out of nothing. The reason for this is because 0 cannot equal 1, nothing cannot make something. The multiverse theory has been proven false as well as the universe is dependant and relies on time and space. There cannot be an infinite number of dependant things so must have a starting point. This would prove the multiverse to be wrong as if it has a beginning, something must have created it. There is no such thing as nothing, so there always has to be something. If there always has to be something then this something must always exist. Cannot have a beginning, nor an end. We have now established that the creator of the universe must always have existed, be independent of all dependencies such as time and space and is self sufficient meaning not relying on anything for its existence. This proves any other theory wrong, it also proves that there must be only 1 God, which is all powerful as Muslims believe Allah to be. Allah just means God by the way.
This entire point that I am making is alluding to there only being 1 God. Now only the 3 main Abrahamic faiths can come into the question now as the majority of religions believe in more than 1 God. The only religions in which followers think they are worshipping the 1 God, are the Abrahamic faiths. God of Abraham, God of Jesus etc. We know that Jesus, we know that Muhammed (PBUH), we know that Moses existed, due to accounts, reports and carbon dated proof. I will talk more about this later.
If we look into these Abrahamic faiths, Christianity sticks out. The reason being is they worship not 1, but 3 Gods. As Christians think all 3 entities are God, the father, son, holy spirit, they think they are worshipping 1 God though. There are many Christians who cannot even come to an agreement on the trinity, it is rather confusing. For example, if Jesus is God then he must be all powerful. But the father created everything so he must be all powerful. 2 Gods cannot be all powerful as all/most powerful means more than anything/one else. If Jesus was all knowing then surely he would know the hour? If Jesus was all powerful, why could he not save himself from the crucifixion? Some may argue that Jesus was not all powerful when he came to earth but then surely God must be all powerful or it shows his weakness. Muslims believe that God does what befits his majesty. For example, can God cease to exist? No, of course not. As God has always existed, the argument of God ceasing to exist is illogical, an oxymoron if you may. A complete opposite, as we know the theory of opposites from Galen was proved wrong. There was a bit of GCSE History for you there. Plus the Bible has a lot of contradictions.

Judaism is in fact not true either. The reason being they believe that a certain amount of people will go to heaven and the rest to hell, they do not believe Jesus, their books have contradictions. I am not an expert on Judaism but when a book has been corrupted and changed just like the Bible, is it really the word of God? It cannot be as the word of God cannot have any contradictions in it and cannot be changed. The Quran has not been changed, no contradictions etc. So by deduction Islam is the true religion.

Personally, I weight middle rounds the most strongly. I don't assign any precise formula to this, but the opening round isn't where the best conflict arises (the instigator hasn't even responded to attacks on their case); and the final round is more for summaries (as much as I do start reading some debates with this, to see which arguments the debaters themselves believe had the most impact), with last minute epiphanies rated fairly low as not an organic part of the debate.

These muslims are simply easily deceived by the old paper. Islam failed to convince me to belive in its fairy tales. For years I have with great determination resisted the islam. I am still resisting. I have not fallen subjugated in front of the nightmare that muslims have brought to the world. The struggle continues today, as muslims attack and threaten to occupy the minds of the young people infecting them with pollution. To these young people I say: Stay strong! Dont let the evil islamic world view occupy and destroy your lives! I can see through muslim tactic. They even admit it themselves: Their religion is about subjugation! I don't have a problem with that. I'm simply curious how the Quran justifies it, as admittedly I'm unaware. Although I do think its reasonable, if its not just pigs but all animals of its kind and predator animals with fangs etc.

trichinosis affects many animals outside of pigs. Its something that can be found in any animal if it eats meat. just because an animal plays in mud doesn't make it any more dirty to eat if cooked sufficiently. Rats, bats, and many many other animals objectively are far more likely to carry disease or infections than pigs are. To use an example, these are the infections I can get from cows: ringworm, Q fever, chlamydiosis, leptospirosis, campylobacterosis, salmonellosis, listeriosis, yersiniosis, cryptosporidiosis and infections with pathogenic strains of Escherichia coli, Mycobacterium paratuberculosis, campylobacteriosis, MRSA, rabies, and Anthrax.
What are the many reasons exclusive to pork, which doesn't overlap with other red meats? such as lamb, turkey, etc.
First of all, eating pork is nothing to do with proving Islam to be the truth.
Secondly, a Pig is known to be one of the most dirtiest animals in the world. They thrive off mud. Trichinosis is also an effect of eating pork and humans are prone to this disease. There are many health issues with eating pork plus Allah gives a command to say to not eat pork. Many reasons.
Thirdly, Hindu's not eating cows is irrelevant. You said cows are not eaten in India, that is not the case. I think you meant Hindu's. Plus they worship the cows and consider them sacred, however we do not do the same with pigs.

Indeed prohibited for you are dead meat, blood and meat of the pig and anything else that has been slaughtered with a named other than that of Allah, but if someone is under duress without being rebellious then there is no sin on him and Allah Merciful and Forgiving.
I'm unsure why eating pork is more dirty than any other domesticated animal which produces red meats. Most historians believe eating pork became something mandated against in Islam because during that time people were getting sick due to diseases it could carry. The same happened in India with cows, hence why they don't eat cow in India. If you agree with this being the case, wouldn't eating pork being sinful not be the case today? or do you disagree with that theory, what do you think?
You can know as much people as you want. I know ISIS, not personally, but from a public background. I can say they are not following Islam. What a lot of the non Muslims say is like your argument. Why are Muslims torturing and killing ex Muslims. This is not taught in the Quran therefore it is a person's choice, not a religious thing. So to answer that ambiguous question, nothing to do with Islam, but only with peoples free will :)
I know of ex-Muslims and victims of the barbaric side of Islam. You do not know what has happened to the victims, I do, in detail.
Muslims are not some sort of animals you know. 1.8 billion of us on earth that is a quarter of humanity. You think Muslims will send you death threats over opinions that you may have? There are people burning the Quran, one person in Norway is a repeat offender, and you know what happened to him? Nothing, but for every Quran he burns, £50,000 is donated to build a new mosque in Norway. This is not violent.
Also, even if you do see lots of Muslims killing people for their opinions today, doesn't mean it is right. There is a difference between Islam and Muslims. Muslims have free will, Islam is a religion that won't change. People will.
because I am courageous in the face of fear and I feel law enforcement would understand that I am not being brainwashed into either side of this debate in particular and let me be.
I also have worries what could happen if I were to travel to an Islamic nation later on, idk what level of surveillance they have and do know I typed these things.
