this sentence makes no sense. How are those 2 things connected in any way? Trump is a giant asshole who is going to keep lying to these people and egging them on. More violence is likely to happen because trump won't man up and admit he lost. 

Then you need to listen to more authoritative sources.

Trump will be gone on Jan 20 according to all authorities.

You just need to trust authority more than you already do.

you realize this statement is stupid right? if you don't want to actually discuss something, why bother even posting? 

No one believes everything was fine before trump. No one believes everything will be fine the moment he leaves office. And neither of those things have anything at all to do with the topic. The topic is, trump incited an insurrection against the government and should be punished for that.

I think History, no offence, misses the point in asking for that - we should be comparing severity and ultimate point of the riots, and the evidence to back both of them. Whereas there was and still is substantial evidence of 2016 involvement from other countries, or at the very least, substantial evidence, there has been literally no valid evidence of any widespread election fraud. From a surface level, they seem similar, but analyzing the actual evidence of both reveals quite a bit. Furthermore, we should discuss another thing... Hilary Clinton did not cause those riots.... the numbers were smaller in riots, where there were more protests... and finally... none of them attacked the capitol literally trying to tear apart the congress... or use bombs.... also "three officers injured" really doubling down on the whole "Police Officers are systemically biased (racist is a big part of that) and employ different levels of force on each protest or riot, and thus get a larger or smaller push back.

fair enough. there was as small riot where 3 people were injured in 2016. 

In 2021 dozens have been inured, we still don't know how many, and 5 people are dead including 1 police officer. And the target of the insurrectionists wasn't burning some garbage cans on the street. They attacked the center of democracy specifically to prevent the results of a democratic election being carried out. 

1 was a group of angry college students acting out. The other was 10's of thousands of people flown in from across the country to violently attacked the center of democracy to prevent the results of a democratic election from being recognized. And they were egged on by the president of the united states. 

Those 2 events are on an entirely different scale.

yeah, that reason is that the republicans lie about it for political gain. Even though not one of them can provide a shred of actual evidence that fraud on any kind of significant scale actually occurred, many of the republican leadership continue to tell people it did. outlets like fox news and news max run coverage of it constantly, even though they have no evidence of it. And they have no evidence of it, because it didn't happen.

so.... there were protests and a few of them engaged in vandalism. You are comparing a few cases of vandalism to an assault on the center of democracy. Do you not see how silly this sounds?

And the trump cultists weren't protesting the results of the election. They were advocating an alternate reality where there was fraud and the election was stollen even though every single investigation and every single lawsuit has come to the same conclusion, that that didn't happen. And they didn't just come to this conclusion on their own. They were told over and over and over by trump and his allies that this complete bullshit is reality. 

Trump organized this and he incited the attack. Reports indicate that when the attack began he was happy about it. And that he initially resisted attempts to call in the national guard. And then when he finally released a video, he egged them on telling them that he loved them and spreading lies that would aggravate them (that he won, that it was stolen etc). 

Trump should be impeached for this. I hope McConnel lets it happen.

this has nothing to do with fraud. So how is it at all related to the lies trump is spreading?

Not to mention that this company was funded and run by republicans. Steve Bannon (who was a big part of trump's campaign and joined his cabinet) was also heavily involved. So you are pointing to shitty things done by republicans (that don't involve fraud) as evidence that we shouldn't believe election officials about fraud. 

what exactly is this link supposed to tell me? How does this, in any way, relate to the 2020 election? Are you under the impression this is evidence of some kind? No. He can be impeached by next week if they want to. McConnel could easily block a senate vote for that long if he felt like it. I hope he doesn't.

First off, McConnell isn't going to be making that call in 12 days.

Secondly, a failed impeachment with no time for hearings or evidence still took months.
We have tons of evidence for Congress to show to the people that do not trust authority and shamelessly deface the institutions of Authority.

We need to put these people down don't you agree? The only thing that works is proper impeachment with witnesses, independent investigations, testimony, subpoenas, and evidence. That's going to take just a bit longer than 12 days, plus you want Kamala to be the authoritative deciding Senate vote for this if it comes down to it.

You don't want Congress to fuck this up when Authority Trust is on the line.

You need to trust authority harder.
