@RoderickSpode
It depends what you mean by theocracy.
I mean complete bible law in Christian countries.

The founding fathers were against the European theocracy they escaped from.
If they were non religious, this would make sense.  If they believed in God, it wouldn't.

This type of theocracy (like a Christian State) wouldn't work because historically theocracies involved a dominant denomination, or a national church that was backed up by a dominant denomination (like the Church of England).
How is this bad?

The founding fathers were in favor of such a theocracy where God literally ruled, but it was understood that not every American believed in the Christian God, so they advocated each individual seek the creator for guidance.
A majority of America is christian though, so wouldn't they just implement Christian law and any non Christian could leave the US?

I personally think that we either should support theocracy or become non religious.  Both groups are honest and I respect the theocratic as well as the non religious.  Claiming to be christian while you don't base your life around the bible is two faced and false Christianity I think.

I mean, if your really Chistain, and if you really think that God is all knowing and all loving, should you let him make the laws of Christian countries?  Given that most of America is Christian, wouldn't it make sense for true Christians to accept theocracy?

I mean, if heaven really is more important than this world, shouldn't true Christians accept theocracy, no matter how much it screws this world over because the afterlife is infinite times more intense and as long of a life than the one here?

I wouldn't prohibit it, but I would discourage it now because of legal troubles.  I'm playing Devil's advocate, but wouldn't rape rates skyrocket if every girl was naked?  Then she gets pregnant and then abortion rates would skyrocket.  Given that your conservative, your probably pro life.

My other concerns were:

1) Why would you do this?

2) If we are fine with little kids being naked, which would happen if adults were naked since kids don't really like hypocritical parents, I had history working as a camp counselor and some little kids were doing things that if they had no clothes on, it would basically be anal sex.  This spreads STDs to people who have no idea knowing what they are doing is dangerous.  The fact that they had clothes on could have prevented STDs from spreading.

3) If being nude involves being shoe less as well, wouldn't your feet get blisters from walking a lot?  I mean, shoes provide protection in public sphere from hot, cold or sharp surfaces.  Health insurance costs would skyrocket, costing taxpayers a fortune.  If you want to go shoeless, that's on you, but I don't want to pay for your blister treatment.

I sent you a friend request if your interested.

Interesting subject.  Probably the most unique subject I've seen on DART, and that's saying something.

I personally discourage public nudity, especially where I live where its cold out sometimes.  My justification is:

1) Why would you do this?

2) You might get cold, especially where I am.

3) Body Odor becomes much more prevalent in society if there are no clothes holding it back.  We tell people to shower and put deodorant on, just as we should tell people to wear clothes.

4) If we are fine with little kids being naked, which would happen if adults were naked since kids don't really like hypocritical parents, I had history working as a camp counselor and some little kids were doing things that if they had no clothes on, it would basically be anal sex.  This spreads STDs to people who have no idea knowing what they are doing is dangerous.  The fact that they had clothes on could have prevented STDs from spreading.

I might come up with more reasons for why I discourage nudity, but that's what I have for now.

Everyone would simply ignore the UN. Pretty much how the UN is treated now.

People don't always ignore the UN.  It helped prevent deaths in the Rwandan genocide.

Other countries are able to get what they want without some other country forcing them.
They have failed at this.  Africa has 4x the population as the US yet has 14x the annual abortions, all while the practice is mostly banned in Africa and legal in the US.  I want abortion banned in the US, but mandatory vasectomies would gradually have less people have connections to abortions and therefore would gradually increase the pro life position since less people would have relations to abortions.

People are never happy being forced.
Apply this logic to childbearing and you would be consistent.

Not by forcing people to undergo invasive surgeries.
I would say that forcing a pregnant women to be pregnant for 9 months is more invasive than vasectomies.

If you are fine with banning abortions to prevent them from happening, the same logic can be applied to mandatory vasectomies.
The same "logic" can be applied to murder.
Which is why murder is banned, what's your point here?

Illogical. No one forced the woman to become pregnant.
In the event of marital rape, which is legal in most African countries (https://womanstats.wordpress.com/2016/02/05/violence-against-women-marital-rape/), someone did force the woman to be pregnant.  Also, the woman didn't ask for pregnancy when she had sex anymore than someone playing Russian Roulette asks for death.  They can still have sex too.  They just gotta wait for their partners to get vasectomies first and to either wait for their semen to become sperm free.

You have no right to force anyone no matter how much you love your dogma.
Apply this logic to child bearing against the mother's will and you'd be more consistent.

Twice the Nazis tried to force their brand of "less freedom being taken away" on the world, and both times the world told them to fck themselves.
The Nazis were bad because of all the genocide they did.  No one is getting killed with my idea, so comparing the ideology to Natisizm is inaccurate.

And abortions in other countries are not your business or your responsibility.
So let me get this straight; your pro choice for women of other countries yet pro life for Americans.  Why exactly is that?  It doesn't make any sense.

How would you feel if China shipped over 325 million Chinese people to make the US a territory of China? Would you like that?

I don't think China can do that.  They're having trouble sending 20 million Chinese to Tibet; a region that China currently owns and is more similar to China than the US.  They'd have to cross an ocean to get to here.

Languages are impossible to avoid, people are going to form languages anyway, the American style of immigrants can not be copied In Europe

Due to globalization, more languages are being destroyed than created, and I'm happy for that.  People 100 years from now can still use native languages, but it won't make an impact much compared to the Euro English majority that would be in effect after 100 years if things go according to plan.

America trades with all countries doesnt matter if it is english speaking

Yes, but it trades more with English speaking countries because it's easier to do so.  You don't need to hire translators for the trip.  Given that much trade is done by small businesses, saving money on a translator is a huge asset.  Multiple languages to the point to where 2 parties can't understand each other are walls to prosperity, trade, and economic success.

I wonder what God did those quadrillion of eons before the US constitution was written?

<br>

I would say the constitution is better than a theocracy.  The constitution can be tweaked if enough people support it.  Bible law is set in stone, until God decides to change it, which he has done, confirming that he doesn't know everything.  Also, does God even exist?  If so, I don't see the evidence.  No need in worshiping God if he doesn't exist.  He might though.

America's GDP is higher because of it's advancement in Technology
This technology was achieved by Americans being able to travel easier across state lines due to a language similarity.  English speaking countries tend to have higher GDP per capitas because of the trade it allows with the US.

Europe is so great because of the different nations and peoples
False.  It has caused less movement around Europe since people don't want to learn new languages, and it is the reason why Europe's GDP per capita is half that of the US.  Also, the EU is less stable than America and much more likely to fall apart because culture divides people that would otherwise be united.

America cannot make a law mandatory worldwide.

The UN can with America doing it first within it's borders and then telling the UN to do the same thing in an effort to eliminate abortions.

You are aware that other counties, even African ones, are sovereign aren't you?
Given that most African countries have pro life laws and want to eliminate abortions, this bill ought to make the African countries very happy since they get what they want.

If anyone told me it was mandatory that I have evasive surgery to satisfy his PC goals, I would laugh in his face and walk away.
The goal is to eliminate abortions.  If you are fine with banning abortions to prevent them from happening, the same logic can be applied to mandatory vasectomies.

I'm also not a Nazi, so I have a little problem with it.
How is this a Nazi ideology exactly?  One was a genocide movement; the other saves the unborn.  My idea is more libertarian then the pro life movement because less freedom is being taken away by forcing vasectomies then it is by forcing women to be pregnant for 9 months.  If the latter is fine to do, so is the former.

it's a surgery, reversal takes 2+ hours

So be it.  I could be knocked out with anesthetics in the meantime.

"it may take as long as 12 months for fertility to return."
“Success rates depend primarily on the time since vasectomy.” Success rates can be as high as 95 percent if the vasectomy was done within the last 10 years. They start to decline when a man has had his vasectomy 15 years ago.
People who are thinking about undergoing vasectomy reversal may need to pay out of pocket, Dr. Vij notes, given it’s usually not covered by insurance.
How much would reversing the vasectomy decrease the odds of a desired pregnancy if it's 15 years ago?  If the odds of getting a kid are 80%, then that's tolerable.  If they wanted a kid so badly, they can adopt one.  If it's 5%, then it's a different story.

Pregnancy rates after vasectomy reversal will range from about 30 percent to over 90 percent, depending on the type of procedure.
If your someone who wants a kid, got the vasectomy, but can't reproduce anymore the sexual way, there could be a surgery done to where sperm is taken outside of you and transported to your consenting wife, and then you can have a kid that way, all while your in anesthetics, so you don't know it's happening.

if you fell in love, got married only to find out she couldn't have children, everything you did was for naught, would you abandon her?
No.  I don't want biological kids anyway.  I wouldn't hate her for being unable to conceive.  It means we could have a lot of consensual sex with no protection and I don't have to worry about pregnancy.  That would be fun.

it hurts, like getting punched in the gut, but worse, you may want to think twice about it.

One week of vasectomy pain is less painful than 9 months of pregnancy and the labor that comes with that.  Plus, once it's done and me and my girlfriend get tested for STDs and there is proof that we don't have any STDs, I can have all the unprotected sex in the world and not have to worry about her getting pregnant or STDs spreading.

Will they do one at that age?
I think they would, if I'm fine with it.

Often they won't because it's not generally meant as birth control or to be reversed.
Vasectomies are reversible, so you just reverse it when your ready to have a kid.

USA was born in 1777 and has a drawn for immigrants

These immigrants came from Europe.  They weren't all British.  The Irish assimilated.  Same with the Welsh and the Scots.  They sacrificed their culture to unify.

America can be a melting pot but Europe where all these people originally came from, can not, you can not unify everybody under one language
We gradually can.  Just teach all the youth Euro-English (a variation of English) in addition to their native language in a bilingual setting, wait 50 years, let the people travel across the EU relying on Euro English as the lingua franca, and the English language would unify the EU.  Separatist movements become obsolete.  Already, a majority of EU residents know English.  We just gotta get every youth person to learn the language and to make every EU nation have English as an official language in addition to the native language.

Irish are CELTS, English are Germanic and have a little bit of viking in them

I honestly can't tell the difference between Celtic and Germanic people.  They are all Europeans to me.

Can't Wales and Scotland become part of England?  I mean, if Scotland was part of England, then there wouldn't be the separatist movement that is in the country right now, since the locals would see themselves as English; not even British, but English.  Same for Wales.  I hope these regions have no more autonomy than any other part of England.

Given that other people have gotten vasectomies before, I can't be the first one.  Despite this, since I'm 17, I can't get it right now and I don't want to harass my parents about it.  I'm planning on getting one by the time I turn 19.  Hopefully, the plan goes into effect.

No loss of life through genocide necessary.  The only thing necessary is shipping consenting British people over to the island.  It also would enhance the Irish economy since they get more urbanization.

All of THIS just so it can be British again, no thanks

But describing God's attributes is not a metaphor per se.
Why not?

God know all that he needs to know. Or there is nothing that God does not know. I disagree with you that there are contradictions in the Bible.
The bible did a whole 180 on policy.  First, it advocated for the death penalty for various actions in the Old testament, such as for breaking any of the 10 points in God's law.  Then, it advocated for a rehabilitation stance as what Jesus basically stood for.  From the death penalty to rehabilitation, the bible has various contradictions between the OT and the NT, as well as in the testaments themselves.  It's okay for God to change his mind, but it means that he isn't all knowing then, and how can we trust that he is now?

Everything he wills to do, he does. There is nothing that he cannot do that he wants to do
He wills that we are free from sin.  How'd that work out?

All people who go to Hell is not a demonstration of God hating - it only demonstrates his justice.
Theocratic justice is cruel and unusual punishment; it violates the 4th amendment.  Sending someone to hell for wearing different fabrics violates the 4th amendment.  It shouldn't even be a crime.

I would add that he also sustains all things.
He made us dependent on those things.  If a drug dealer hooks you up with cocaine and gives it to you subsequently for free, would it be fair to say that he is the source for your happiness obtained through the drugs?  No.  He is the reason why you are addicted to drugs.  God made humans addicted to food, and in some places in the world; particularly the most christian places in the world; like Africa, he has made them starve to death in many instances; and they obey the bible more frequently than rich westerners.

What I honestly think needs to be done in order to establish peace on the Irish island is for the UK to send 7 million British people to Ireland, the country.  From there, the island would vote for British annexation in exchange for the UK rejoining the EU, and Britain stays in the EU and can annex Ireland.  Peace and unification is established on the Irish island; under British rule.  Plus Ireland gets some more people which they really need.

Thoughts?

Because the bible has various contradictions in it.  Only non-all knowing people contradict themselves.

I think a surgery would only take 2 years if the surgery was non life threatening.  People can wait for non essential surgeries.  If it's a surgery to where you need it in 6 months or you would die, then you'll get the surgery in 6 months.  This is partly why Europe has a higher life expectancy than the US.

True, but which country in Europe is as populated with 330M people? 20% of Russia is 29M. of Germany, 16M. These are the two most populated of Europe. 20% of USA? 66M, right now. In 10 years?

What would population have to do with it?  As you get more people, you gain more expenses, but you also gain a proportional amount of tax revenue, so it evens out.

Make FICA another sales tax, etc, you lose a handle on what's for retirement and what's for the general fund, let alone the interest earned.

and we ought to not penalize the people who create it by taxing them more.
I'd want to abolish the income tax and replace it with a sales tax and a capitol gains tax to pay for this.  You can choose how much you buy, and as an investor, it's easier to generate revenue from investing than it is to work, so a capitol gains tax won't discourage the stock market unless the tax is very high, like 80%, and I wouldn't make the capitol gains tax this high.

With half this nation being investors, a capitol gains tax also contributes significant revenue anytime someone sells stock.  Roughly the same number of shares would be sold, so the stock market would go up as usual from this, but with no income tax, people have more money to put into the stock market, making the demand for stock higher and as a result, the stock market rises, as well as the capitol gains revenue that would have been received.

In the unlikely event of illegal immigrants obtaining assault rifles, then there would be a short term period of chaos, after which deportations would more than likely increase.
If they use it for home defense, then there wouldn't be deportations and chaos any more than it currently is with people owning AR15s.

There is a huge difference between illegal economic migrants and heavily armed terrorist insurgents.

True, but if your a terrorist illegal immigrant and you kill someone, deportation is too good for you.  You belong in jail for the rest of your life donating blood every 3 months to save more people than the number you killed from your terrorist activities.

Most illegal immigrants are economic migrants, searching for jobs as a means of income generation, which is the american thing to do.
