Both theoretical physicists had opposing views of God. So who's right, especially considering that you're attempting to appeal to their authorities?

Exactly my point.
Is it? Because the logic isn't on your side since your argument operates on post hoc and ecological inference fallacies.

Can Math Prove God?

@YouFound_Lxam
Basic common sense would say that someone designed this, but no human designed it. Like we said:

  • Math only exists in the mind so its origin must also be a mind.

  • Math contains infinite information, so this mind must be all knowing.

  • Math controls the universe and must also be all powerful.

  • Math is beyond and outside of our natural world, so this mind must be supernatural.

And right here, we have just described God.
Excellent! This is the reason materialistic atheists are hypocrites. They're just substituting one god for another.

Why do you think half the population is not interested in this site?
This site isn't popular enough to fall within the radar of half the population.

Could it be the anti-vaxxers?
COVID-19 cannot be contracted through online interaction, can it? (Best update my engine and definitions, right away.)

You still haven't answered my question, and I'm going to guess that you have no intention of doing so.

Now, who am I more likely to listen to?

A. Sadolite

B. A Virologist.

Well, if I have a preoccupation with conspiracy theory then probably Sadolite.
Who are you going to listen to about the QUANTIFICATION of a virus's epidemicity:

A. A website which can't clarify or argue back? Or...
B. A person who works as a data analyst, having a master's in Quantitative Methods & Social Analysis, who understands the ins-and-outs of logistic regressions, reference categorization, multivariate analysis, as well as the issues concerning rendering ecological inferences using complex datasets. Or to put simply, "a trypanophobe"?

I've gone toe-to-toe with virologists (even on this forum) and other physicians on this subject (remember, my family is lousy with physicians and health care professionals.) And no matter the profession--no matter the level of  education--one cannot escape the LOGIC.

I would suggest that the reduction in the effects of the Influenza Virus is perhaps a lot to do with VACCINATION.
Which effects were reduced?

Q. Why has life expectancy doubled over the past 250 years?

A. Definitely not luck.
No one claimed that it was luck. But perhaps clean water, better personal hygiene, increased workplace safety has a more tangible effect on increased life expectancy, than the uncontrolled and unsubstantiated efficacy of a vaccine?

And Sadolites fellow trypanophobic Athias (just jibing),
I'm in stitches.

is still alive, because( in respect of the Covid virus) the chances of still being alive are far greater than not.
But what does this indicate to me individually? Why were the "chances" of those did contract the virus and succumbed worse?

prevention is better than cure as those conspiring health professionals would have us believe.
You don't need a vaccine for that.

Stay safe Guys.
Thank you.

Common mistake that people make about genders
-->
@Best.Korea
Then by that description, "having a penis" would make a person a boy. The desire to have one in and of itself isn't quantifiable. A person presumably wants to "have a penis" because that would make him feel like a boy--i.e. "having penises" is associated with the identification of males.

Gender is the social manifestation of one's biological sex. And the constellation of gendered behaviors are typically associated to particular physical characteristics. You can't have it both ways: either one's sex or gender can be physically identifiable or it can't. And if it isn't physically identifiable, then there really is no point to a man dressing up like woman, and vice versa, or having gender/sex reassignment surgery, or hormone therapy. If gender/sex is fluid, then why does typical behavior indicate anything but.

CDC COVID-19 Study Shows mRNA Vaccines Reduce Risk of Infection by 91 Percent for Fully Vaccinated People

Risks that are determined by ecological inferences. Not to mention, the "study" was conducted over a 17 week period (vaccines usually take up to a decade in trials to conclude anything) and the samples were self-obtained. Answer this question for me: why have I yet to die from COVID after being not only unvaccinated, but also exposed for almost four years?

" Vaccination won't prevent one from contracting a virus."

"Though it will limit the effects of the virus."

"I can only speculate about other possible outcomes if I had not been vaccinated."

What evidence is there that the vaccine you took limited any affects? How is this even  scientifically proven given literally no time to even conduct a credible study. It takes years to prove such a thing.

Sounds like some weak ass sudo  science. "Speculate"

There hasn't been sufficient time to conduct a true scientific study to give conclusive results. You can believe it if you want.

"Sounds like" is very close to "seem." And, seem is not an argument.

I mean, republicans have been looking for literally any reason to attack biden.
I am not a Republican.

Members of congress have openly lied in an impeachment inquiry trying to smear him. (emmer said that text messages showed biden trying get his son help with a business venture, the truth was he was trying to get him help paying his alimony).
That may be, but how does this qualify at all the veracity of what you would characterize as my "allegation"?

So if there was any truth to your accusation,
There is.

the republicans and fox would have been running it as front page news and definitely brought it up in their stupid little impeachment time waster.

Once again, I don't concern myself with Mr. Biden's predilection. I concern myself only with the consistency in which a particular member will engage in partisan and specious characterizations of so-called "conservatives" while neglecting the fact that "liberal" politicians--in this case, Mr. Joe Biden--can also be subject to the same characterization using his description.

No, the real definition is pinching, obviously.
And this is mutually exclusive from sexual molestation? Don't answer that, since I presume you'll just offer an obtuse response which furthers your perpetuation of this pretense.

I sure hope you never pinched your friend's nipple.
I suppose that's a viable interpretation. A 72 year-old man testing his nipple twists with an eight year-old. I couldn't concern myself less with his predilection. My concern is the inconsistency.

1. Daniels told a magazine six years ago that she had an affair with Donald Trump starting right after his wife Melania gave birth to their son, Barron…He told me once that I was someone to be reckoned with, beautiful and smart just like his daughter.

2. During a Feb. 27, 2013, interview on The Wendy Williams Show, Trump was asked what he and his daughter both consider their favorite things. Trump answered, “I was going to say sex, but I can relate to [golf and real estate].

3. During a March 6, 2006 episode of The View, Donald Trump made a casual remark that really made my skin crawl. When a host asks how Donald Trump would feel about his daughter posing for Playboy, he says that “Ivanka posing for Playboy would be really disappointing… not really. But it would depend on what was inside the magazine … I don’t think Ivanka would [do a nude shoot] inside the magazine. Although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.

4. On The Howard Stern Show, way back in 2003, Donald Trump had this to say about his daughter Ivanka: “You know who’s one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her. Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She’s 6 feet tall, she’s got the best body.

5. In 2016, there were reports that Ivanka Trump might be taking over the White House office space traditionally reserved for the First Lady.
Journalist Julia Ioffe tweeted, “Either Trump is fucking his daughter or he’s shirking nepotism laws. Which is worse?” The tweet linked to a report in The Hill expanding on the claim.

6. During a 2015 interview with Donald Trump for Rolling Stone, reporter Paul Solotaroff praised Ivanka Trump. The soon-to-be president’s response? “Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father…

7. In an early draft of a piece by Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen, he purportedly wrote that “President-elect Donald Trump once asked, ‘Is it wrong to be more sexually attracted to your own daughter than your wife?’ — but the quote was quietly removed before the syndicated column was published.”
Yes, it’s wrong, Donald.

8. According to a soon-to-be-published book, Blowback: A Warning to Save Democracy From the Next Trump, the former president “regularly made lewd comments about his daughter Ivanka and fantasized about what it would be like to have sex with her.”
According to The New Republic, “’Aides said he talked about Ivanka Trump’s breasts, her backside and what it might be like to have sex with her, remarks that once led [former Chief of Staff] John Kelly to remind the president that Ivanka was his daughter,’ Taylor, who served as a Department of Homeland Security chief of staff under Trump, wrote in his book.”
His fixation on his daughter's appearance is evidence of what exactly?

Alright; so you don't like Christianity.
I don't subscribe to a particular religion; that doesn't result in my not liking or disliking Christianity. In fact, I tend to defend Christianity especially in the face of non sequiturs and strawman arguments (a consequence of misinterpreted Bible quotes) which are wagered typically by atheists.

The main reasons why women don't consent to sex is the fear of pregnancy and STIs.
I think there's a bit more to it than that, e.g. sense of personal space.

So then it shouldn't have gotten raised if it meant God would be a child rapist by the new definition.
God is not a "child-rapist" by the new definition especially considering that he did not engage in any sexual contact with Mary.

The people then should have either denounced Christainiy because then God would be a child rapist or kept the age of consent 12 so God is not a child rapist.
Your entire argument is predicated on an arbitrary definition of the State.

I've never been drunk, but if all the people who have been drunk argue that drunk people can't consent to sex, I got to believe them.
Unfortunately, I have, and trust me, no one else was responsible for my actions.

The current salary for a US congressman is around $175,000 dollars. Each Representative represents close to a million people. The average salary of a CEO at a fortune 500 company is 16.7 million dollars.

I propose to raise the salary of Congress to 20 million dollars a year with the provision that they must have term limits.  The President will have a salary of 50 million. I base this off of the 400 million dollars Barack Obama accumulated from kickbacks during his 8 years as president.

Here are the reasons:
1) It would be a very small part of the national budget. 10 Billion dollars a year for the salary of Congress is definitely doable.
2) It would make it much harder for a lobbyist to purchase a politician.
3) It would attract much more competition and a higher quality of candidates for the job.

What do you guys think?
First let me commend you for not proposing anything "swyft" like eating poor Irish babies, or "indecent" like paying me to pimp out my high school sweetheart, turned wife.

Second, my response is perhaps best exemplified through this question: why would one pay the incompetent more?

women are too picky when it comes to dating
-->
@n8nrgim
It's actually quite simple to understand. A woman gestates, a man inseminates. The former takes considerably more labor than the latter. A woman typically gestates ONCE for a period of 36-40 weeks; A man can inseminate HUNDREDS of partners over that span. A woman has a few hundred egg cells. A man has billions of sperms cells. The reason a female is typically "more picky" is because she has more to lose with a bad prospect. It's like breeding red wolves (gestation) and breeding hamsters (insemination.) It's Economics. The scarcity of the female capacity to gestate dictates its price.

Annual GDP growth has been booming under Biden
-->
@CoolApe
Real GDP growth inflation adjusted

Its not impressive the economy grew 5.8% when everyone went back to work after covid. Any president in office could of achieved that.
Notice Biden's second year is worse than Trump's first three years.

Biden
2021-2022   5.8%
2022-2023     1.93%

Trump
2017-2018   2.46
2018-2019   2.97
2019-2020   2.47
2020-2021   -2.21

Source Fred (federal reserve economic data)

I made a mistake. The aforementioned numbers were annually averaged over the year, so they're smoother than they should be.
Here are the numbers based on Q4 percent change from a year ago. No averages involved.

Real GDP Growth (Inflation Adjusted)

Biden
measuring end of Q4
2021   5.42%
2022   0.65%

Trump
2017  2.99%
2018  2.13%
2019  3.18%
2020  -1.08%

The economy is larger today than pre-Covid
GDP fell during Q1 in 2020 because of Covid. 2019 Q4 was pre-covid. Lets calculate percent change of Real GDP from 2019 to 2021.

Q4
2019  20,951 (2017 Billions dollars)
2021  21,847 (2017 Billions dollars)
2019-2021  4.28%  (Real GDP growth from pre-Covid to a year after covid)

Biden performed 1.10% better than the typical 3.18% Real GDP average. He grew the economy 0% in 2022. It looks like 2023 will end with 2.1% growth and 2024 a recession. Go Brandon.

Notice Biden added more jobs in his first 30 months than Trump did in his first 30 months?
Unemployment rate pre-covid 3.6%. Unemployment rate now 3.8%. Amazing, people went back to work after Covid

Different sources slightly different numbers. I could call you liar for not having numbers consistent with me. However, it's literally tenths of a percent your talking about here.

Biden already beat Trump’s best unemployment rate of 3.67%. Loser!
2021 - 3.61% and 2019 - 3.67% so a 0.06% difference. Dam Biden.

Trump oversaw a 22 trillion dollar GDP in 2019

Biden had a 25 trillion dollar GDP in 2022. Loser!
Outstanding!

Do you understand the difference between GDP and real GDP?
That has yet to be demonstrated. That would necessitate a fervor to consider information in context, and abandon partisan talking points.

OK.

So I'm uncertain as to how you're using "prescription" in that statement.
Prescrption
Noun
- a recommendation that is authoritatively put forward.

And I would suggest that either presuming or not presuming to dictate that which I WOULD do, is like tying the stick and carrot to the donkeys tail.

Or, leaving the stick and carrot in the stable.
In other words, I'm incapable of providing you incentive to break your routine. I don't disagree. But that doesn't mean you can't break your routine, if you so choose.

Though I suppose that relative to this brief discussion, I CAN as you can, as we will do relative to a cause.

Which won't necessarily result in a prescribed outcome.

As a cause might stimulate an alternative effect, which relative to this discourse would not necessarily be disingenuous.

Or perhaps I should say, SHOULD not necessarily be regarded as necessarily disingenuous.
A cause, which you would argue, doesn't "exist" correct?

Words are fun, are they not?
They sure are.

This is perhaps my biggest gripe with the way debates are conducted on this site. That is, the "expectation" that everything is readily available on an easily accessible online source. Perhaps it's my age, but I'm accustomed to conducting research by actually reading the material on the subject, whether it be books, journals, encyclopedias, almanacs, published essays, etc. And while I laud the readily available information which can be accessed on the internet, I think the oversupply has devalued said information, and has even diminished the eagerness to seek it. There are those who are no longer seeking information; they're just seeking regurgitation. And all this just goes to show the worth of an online debate--that is, if the information isn't worth much, then why would the debate be? Is one seeking information or just a transient gratification of having bested an opponent who's marginally less knowledgeable than oneself?

@zedvictor4
Do you mean materialism or materialism?
I meant materialism as in "physicalism."

If the former, then perhaps the irrationality and futility of everything would be more appropriate.
I suppose that would be the logical counterargument of materialist dogma. If one maintains that everything = phyiscal, then the futility and irrationality of the physical would be a proposition of the futility and irrationality of everything. However my contention is against the very premise that "everything = physical."  So no, it isn't appropriate.

Therefore, maybe I could propose the irrationality and futility of philosophy, within the context of everything and the irrationality and futility invested therein.
Elaborate.

Nonetheless, I currently run with the idea of an outcome, wherein noting can be over looked.

Well let me rephrase that:

Nothing as in something as in everything cannot be overlooked,
Materialist dogma necessarily overlooks everything by attempting to pigeonhole "everything."

Because we cannot conclude anything at this stage of material development.
That is a presumption with no substantiated basis.

Well let me rephrase that:

I would suggest that we have concluded somethings, relative to material development and it's processes...Though we clearly cannot conclude an outcome to material development.
What you have concluded is riddled with contradiction as it concerns materialist description.

Implausible Abortion Arguments
We do not official stop pregnancy a woman is medicallyseeking to officially stop birth.
That isn't necessarily accurate for the following two reasons:

  • Gestation spans over a 36-40 week period. An abortion during any point  during this period would still be described as an end of pregnancy since the woman of subject is still gestating.
  • Some methods of abortions can actually mimic what we know as "birth" especially if the zygote/embryo/fetus is expelled in tact. The only difference is that the zygote/embryo/fetus isn't viable.
A choice has been made to perform an officialstop of birth, not officially stop immigration by birth.
The deciding factor is the viability of the fetus, not its capacity "immigrate" from its mother's womb to space outside its mother's womb.

By using abortion as acrime in the legislation of criminal law a state of the union has been made to establishjustice.
Please substantiate.

A corruption that will always be as a united state made between allwomen and men and admission to a described abortion.
Please substantiate. You cannot replace "abortion" with "murder" and propose that as substantiation without first equating abortion with murder.

Demonstration: Ahired killer appears in a court of law at a trail and is ordered to take thestand. While under oath the person tells the jury and court, he / she has officiallyaborted the existence of 100,000 senior citizens. The killer did not know theage of the victims of his official stop of existence he / she called abortion. There are, however, official medical records of all the bodies which aredestroyed in connection to the official terminations.
Do not merely replace the term "abort" with "murder." Substantiate the equivalence.

I am taking adocumented crime written by Texas and other State legislation changing thewording and calling it at this time the most perfect United StateConstitutional Right there is in connection to females and basic principles inthe risks of birth, as a united state with all fertile women.
Please don't "change the wording." If you wish to propose an appropriate application of Texas state law, or any other state legislation, then by all means do so. It could perhaps be useful to cite the referenced legislation.

Abortion has only been entered intothe Courts of law as a crime and never a right. So far everyone in the worldhas failed to make this connection to established justice. It is not the onlyglobal democratic failure of this type either.
Understood.

Everybody insults mother Russia here, so I thought it was fair.
I can see how you came to that conclusion: other members insult your supposed native country, and you attempt to insult the native country of another member's father, who has not only never participated on this website, but also doesn't initiate insults on any subject matter. That is textbook "fair."

Love you.
You don't know me well enough, bro.
