"just by running it multiple times through multiple different divination methods?"

You can do that too.

There are multiple tarot spreads, and its possible to do 5 spreads on a question to see how many say yes and how many say no.

"How do you determine the certainty %"

I do it by number of cards saying yes/no.

I draw 5 cards. If 3 out of 5 say yes, its 60% yes because 3 out of 5 is like 6 out of 10, which is 60%.

People often doubt tarot, but pro tarot is right about 70% of the time, so its like science.

Created:

Tarot is correct about 50% of the time on questions that have 50% chance to be "yes" and 50% chance to be "no".

Now, I could use a more advanced tarot which relies on assumption that over 70% of questions have "yes" as correct answer, as people do tend to ask if something will happen when it most likely will.

There are two main ways to present Christian God as not evil, and there is a third one which is somewhat weaker, and a fourth one which is a bit debatable.

1. God as owner of everything (anything he does is good, because he does what he wants with his property)

2. God didnt create human's choices (free will)

3. God determines whats good and whats evil

4. God does more good than evil (so he is not evil)

So if any of these prove true, it stands that Christian God is not evil.

Of course, the problem of evil is usually about God not containing any evil, but this particular debate allows 4 as well.

No one will be convincing you into that.

Even as a joke debate, I am certain that convincing people to kill themselves is against rules.

"Pro is fat and his breath smells."

That was kinda unwarranted, since I literally conceded.

In last argument, it should say "there would be more poverty if abortion is banned.".

@Barney

"denying he's gay, a very closeted move"

I find that logic questionable, because it basically says:

"If you say that you are gay, you are gay."

"If you deny that you are gay, you are gay"

So the only option person has is to remain silent when someone asks him if he is gay, which again implies that he is gay.

Thanks for voting.

A simple block button anyone can use would prevent me from accepting their debates.

They dont even have to bother to ask me.

Of course, if someone asks me not to accept his debates, I wont.

Thanks for voting.

I am rather sure this was a troll debate.

I dont think he seriously thinks all females, old and young, even decent and those who have moral standards, all walk around hoping that chads will rape them.

Well, still, I must thank you again.

Thanks to you, I might recover my old skills I used in those old debates.

I even forgot about them, but now that I read them, I see that they are trully great and I was better debater then than I am now.

Thanks, I appreciate the insult, but really, you gotta give me some compliment there.

How many people do you see debating like that?

Thanks for reminding me of my old debates.

Really, those are pure art.

Sadly, I somehow lost ability to write like that again, since I stopped after being banned for it once and my skills got forgotten and lost.

Its been a long time since I used my skills in writing.

You are probably just trolling for attention. You often publicly report things that are not violations.

I am wondering if I should troll this, ignore it or take it seriously, or all of these.

These types of debates require proper definition of "flat Earth".

Obviously, with mountains and hills, it cannot be flat in a usual definition of the word flat.

Its similar to abortion debates, where you really want proper topic and definitions.

Well, I cant really call an app useless, if an app accurately describes my situation in over 70% of the cases.

It is good even if we were to assume that it just guesses most common outcomes and situations, because being aware of those is helpful.

I have lots of tarot apps on my phone. I cant prove this, but I find them surprisingly accurate.

I know that attacking voters is a winning strategy, not for this site but for you, but its a waste of effort here. You dont lose any rating if you lose this debate.

@Tickbeat

I hate winning. I dont hate winning. I am a Christian today, so Jesus commanded me to debate you. The way I see it, I dont need to put effort into arguments because certain number of my opponents will forfeit anyway so I win. I lose only when I face people who dont forfeit. Still, may Jesus bless you. You seem like a good person. Normally, I hate Jesus, but today I dont. I won lots of debates with Jesus's help.

Yes, that is the goal. Thats why I lose. I was hoping you will just surrender so I win.

"Positive effects of religion:

Religion often helps people believe that their lives have a purpose.
2. Religion supplies people with direction and meaning, which benefit one’s mental health.

3. Some people attest that their religious beliefs are the source of the courage they need to keep going in life (“The Lord is my strength”).

4. Most people want to believe that there is more to reality than just the physical, scientific universe, and religion teaches us that indeed, there is.

5. The religious view that “everything happens for a reason” can be comforting during difficult times.

6. The religious view that “God has a plan for you” makes life seem less chaotic.

7. Religion allows people to believe they’ve been forgiven when they feel regret and remorse over things they’ve done wrong.

8. Religion allows people to believe that someone (God) understands them and loves them.

9. Religion teaches us to be kind to others.

10. Religion teaches us to serve others.

11. Religion teaches us to forgive others.

12. Religion promotes humility.

13. Religion promotes gratitude.

14. Religion makes the concepts of right and wrong seem more palpable.

15. Religion can help people accept painful things about the world.

17. Religion can help people come to terms with their own faults and shortcomings.

18. Religion teaches us to focus on what really matters, rather than worldly success.

19. The hope for the afterlife can be a source of comfort for people who are unhappy in life.

21. In general, the hope for an afterlife makes death seem less frightening.

22. Religion provides us with role models (e. g. the saints).

24. Religion provides a structure to time (e. g. the Sabbath).

25. Some people find religious rituals to be very meaningful (e. g. reciting the Takbir).

26. Religion is the origin of most of the world’s holidays, and holidays are fun.

27. Religion has been the inspiration for much art and music over the centuries.

28. There is evidence that religious people have a lower suicide rate than nonreligious people.

29. Religious groups have been a driving force behind some progressive movements in history, including the abolitionist movement and the Civil Rights Movement.

30. Early Christianity was much more supportive of women than were most other societies at that time. Christianity (arguably) played a role in the long-term development of women’s rights in the Western World.

31. Many religious institutions and organizations provide medical care (and other necessary services) for people all over the world."

Oh, dont worry.

I have no problem with losing a debate.

To me, debating is not about winning.

Its an opportunity to google the topic and then copy paste the argument, so everyone learns something new.

Created:

But yes, this debate is rigged for Pro, since even if free will is proven to exist,

Free will of person A is not responsible for decision of person B, and since topic doesnt specify "free will of who", its really just wild ride there.
