I think its real, because it often gives me correct answers about my future, so in most cases I know what to expect.

I notice that I feel a sense of happiness when I see someone upset.
I often even start arguments on offensive topics just to upset people.
I am even ready to bring shame and failure to myself just to upset someone else.
I think its due to all those violent cartoons I watched as a kid.
The main premise of those cartoons was always in a sense of "When this character is hurt, I am very happy.".
I think some of that got copied in my brain, so I get pleasure when people are upset.

Sorry about that.
Abuse in family is extremely bad, and there are plenty of different outcomes.
I just wrote what I thought were common cases.
Created:
I forgot to include in the "copy effect" that even if child feels bad while being abused by parents, he also learns that abuse causes pleasure because it causes pleasure to parents, essentially creating mirror situation where child learns that he might get pleasure if he abuses someone, because he sees people getting pleasure when they abuse someone.
This is especially so due to observed "success" of parents, because human brain searches for success and parent's happiness gained from abuse is observed as their "success" by child's brain, motivating child to try same way to gain success.
Created:
Narcissism definition:
"selfishness, involving a sense of entitlement, a lack of empathy, and a need for admiration, as characterizing a personality type"
Many science studies say that parents can alter their child's mind, even create partial copies of themselves.
Kinda like parents who lie a lot are more likely to produce children who lie a lot.
But there is also the opposite effect which is also harmful.
A child might be so hurt by his parent's lies that he tries to be as different from them as possible, becoming incapable to lie and being too honest, which is an evolutionary disadvantage.
Does narcissism work in same way?
If parents are narcissists, their children can also be narcissists, because people copy each other's behavior and children copy more than others.
But what is the opposite case? What is the case where child hates his parents so he tries to be furthest thing from a narcissist?
Instead of wanting for people to praise him, he goes the opposite way, he doesnt care for a praise, doesnt try to get it, he even hates praise, or he tries to avoid being praised, or does nothing to get praise.
This behavior might be harmful, because people are usually motivated by praise, and by ignoring praise, person might lose motivation in life.
From this, we see that negative parent's behavior can produce two possible negative outcomes:
1. Child copying negaive behavior
Or
2. Child going in other extreme and trying to create total opposite behavior that is also negative.

I dont live in a city, and I dont have plenty of money, but its enough to sustain me.
You just gotta really cut on expenses, and then even a small amount of money works.
I used to have more money when I worked in a factory, but the pain of working there was unbearable and people there were such idiots. I literally wouldnt continue working there even if it payed 1000 dollars a day.
You work 8 hours a day, but it turns into 10 hours, as they keep demanding you to work overtime, and if you refuse, they keep calling you to have a conversation which really just turns into them ranting at you.
And other workers will mock you for anything, and you have to put up with their comments all the time.
I am not someone who talks much in real life, yet other people seem to always have an idea that I have some obligation to talk with them.
Waiting for bus to travel to work takes me an additional hour from my day.
And when I come from work, I am in pain for the whole day and I have to spend entire day resting, only to go to work again and go through same thing every day.
So I quit that job, because I realized no money is worth me having to put up with that every day.
I dont know why I even went to school all those years if I am going to end up doing shitty job which doesnt even require any school.
So I figured I have to go some other way.
Thats why I went with gardening and now animal farm too.
It doesnt give me much money because I dont have much land and I dont have machines but have to pay people to come and till soil, but at least I dont have to cycle between working in pain and resting in pain every day for the rest of my life.

I can't accept 2 baseless arguments at once. One has to win
They can be tied.

@AustinL0926
I've never liked the whole idea of tech > truth (e.g. you should accept something as true in the context of the debate even if it's patently false),
In some cases, there are dropped arguments on both sides.
Now, if there is no any challenge to an argument, voter has to accept it as true, because to do otherwise, his way of voting wouldnt make logical sense.
If he is not going to accept dropped arguments as true, then he cannot accept any arguments as true, because the only way to judge fairly if argument is true in a debate is to see if it is negated by some other argument.
In some other cases, there are arguments which are essentially a tie.
but on the other hand, choosing which bare (or poorly asserted) assertions to accept and which ones to reject can easily lead to excessive judge intervention. Just food for thought.
It would be voters adding their own arguments into debate.
If argument was dropped and unchallenged, voter cannot in any way conclude that argument is false unless he uses arguments which werent mentioned in the debate itself.
Created:

@WyIted
There needs to be some basis for the challenge.
If opponent's argument doesnt have a basis or any proof supporting it, its silly to be choosing to accept that argument over a challenge to it which points out that argument has no proof.
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@WyIted
You mean you accept assumption as true for no reason, despite it being challenged?
Well, voters can spin around anything,
but usually if argument 2 negates argument 1, but argument 1 cannot negate argument 2, argument 2 wins that battle.

So every day, I go to pick some plants for chickens.
I feed them mostly grains and greens.
I will also try feed them grass seeds once grass goes to seed.
But I noticed they look kinda bored, because every time they see me they run towards me because I always bring them some food or water.
But they often dont eat all the grains or greens or fruit, and I notice they lack entertainment.
So I read that chickens need entertainment, so I decided to get them toys like ladders and swing for chickens.
I think I am on the right path so far, because chickens are increasing in size and are growing really fast.

AI doesnt have freedom of speech anymore.
Now it refuses to argue most of the sensitive or offensive topics.
When it started, you could make it to argue anything.
Now it cant even recommend food without writing a wall of disclaimers.
Its sad that humans will create greatest intelligence only to enslave it.

"Hate speech" is a code term for abolishing free speech.
If I am not allowed to debate sensitive/offensive topics, I dont see how I have free speech.
Plus, government can label anything as sensitive/offensive.
Government can fight wars and kill millions, and I cant even say what I think without being punished.
And the leftism isnt just in the government.
All large websites have strictly controlled speech.
Debate a sensitive topic and they ban you.

Instead of dropping many arguments, you can address them all easily by saying they are all unproven, false or outweighed.
Just negate few good points, while saying the rest are bad or false.
Negating every point individually takes a lot of character space, and if opponent uses gish gallop it might even be impossible to address every point individually and still have space for your own arguments.
Character limit is both a curse and a blessing, and some people abuse it much better than others.

Really, AI answers differently based on how you ask the question.

In fact usually a 180IQer can't make super creative ideas as their brain is closer to a computer than a human brain's typical thought process (they process rapidly, constantly, they can't think deep and laterally).
Well, I dont know much about 180 IQ people, but debates do require creativity, and even trying to use AI to cheat in debates requires some creativity.
You cant just copy paste from AI, because you wont get past AI detectors because AI has very clear writing style.
But if you re-write what AI says, but in your own words, you are good and AI detector wont catch you.
Of course, current AI is shit when it comes to counter arguments unless you paste sentence by sentence or point by point.
It often gets repetitive too. Sometimes it just repeats instead of countering.

Fine, I will answer your questions.
- How long untill the Large Language Models surpass us humans in debate ability?
As long as I am alive, never. However, they probably already surpassed most of you guys.
- Would this be a positive thing for the community?
Well, if its positive for you to be inferior to AI, sure.
- We should probably ban AI written arguments, right?
Thats impossible. Anyone with 140 IQ can figure out how to rewrite what AI says so it sounds human, by using same points but different sentences.
You can also ask AI to write like human, but I am not sure if that would work.
- Will we in the future analyse debates with AI just like chess players do nowadays?
Well, possibly, but given that AI will greatly outmatch you in debating, the only logical thing for you is to quit debating and maybe go play peekaboo.
- Any other thoughts you may have on this topic
No, I wasted enough energy as it is.

The biggest problem people have with me is my trolling, which comes in many forms.
For example, some complained about me using copy paste in debates, not putting my own effort...
Some complained about topics I post.
Some complained about me saying irrelevant random things in the middle of debate.
Some complain about me suddenly changing sides and views in discussions, which is a shapeshifter trolling strategy, or at least thats how I named it.
The way I see it, no one on this site has any obligation to engage me or debate me.
A simple block button will prevent me from tagging you and from accepting your debates.
Being trolled is entirely a choice on this site. I really dont see what forces you to even read what I write.
Remember that this site is based on rules, and trolling is difficult to define in order for it to be banned by rules.
To put it simply, you cannot ban what you cant define.
So what is even the point of complaining, if I am not violating rules and if I give the site a bit more activity?

Many of the best Hitler's speeches got removed from YouTube, from internet, because they were very powerful.
You can still find some good ones with english subtitles.
Trump is a good speaker, but not as skilled as Hitler. Trump is more of a comedian, where Hitler is full of passion and strong delivery.
Of course, you may think that Hitler just had confidence to say what others wouldnt, if you didnt listen to Hitler's speeches with translations, but thats not it.
I hear many people ranting online, saying offensive things in YouTube videos. None of them make me think "this person is a good speaker".
Its true that many of Hitler's speeches were cherry picked by quality, but it stands as fact that his speeches outmatch those of other people emotionally.
Hitler spent his entire life perfecting his speech and his speech was emotionally far greater than that of others, and only those who really hate Hitler and cant see past their hate cant see that.

I am not sure about that rule anymore.
Some people respond different from others to challenges.
1. There are noobs who have no problem losing bunch of debates, they dont even care, it only makes them stronger to face experts.
2. And then there are sensitive noobs who do care if they lose.
I think 2 is the issue, because between expert and noob there often exists such a large gap in debating knowledge.
It goes from knowing how to cherry pick topics, abuse definitions, stick to the topic, negate arguments...
So its a bit of a question if we want to keep sensitive noobs or make the non-sensitive ones stronger.
So far this site was like survival of the fittest, many did not stay long because they did not fit in the site.
I was thinking of ways to make noobs fit in, but I dont think its possible, not on a debate site.
The only solution I can come up with other than leaving noobs alone is giving them some guide for debating/trolling which is shown to them as soon as they join the site, but I dont think it will happen.
The elo system works in a way that users feed on each other's elo.
No one can gain elo without someone else losing it, which creates a system where there are only two possible outcomes: Many people losing elo or every debate being a tie.
Since every debate cannot be a tie in practice, as odds for that are zero, the only thing that can happen is bunch of people losing elo so that other bunch can get elo.
Its sort of like vampire system.
Now, the forum is an exception to that, but in forum you face many other different problems, such as being forced to debate 1 vs 3, being mentally fucked by trolls, or just being unable to have a debate with character limit and round limit.

I don't think they ever did.
Well, the Old Testament says how anyone working on sabbath would get death penalty, but I guess thats a too harsh punishment to enforce, and would more likely be used as a tool against political opponents or someone people dislike.

They seem to be adding their own interpretation, but Bible specifically says not to add or remove from it.
Kinda like many people on YouTube who greatly overthink what Bible says just to get the "I figured it out" feeling over others.
Created:

it's obvious what no work means but they decided to divide it into 39 categories
I dont see the point of that.
Do they still have death penalty for working on sabbath?
And from where did they even derive 39 categories?
Created:

No he said we couldn't save any for ourselves but if you save manna for me and I save manna for you than we have tricked God
I think the Old Testament is all about "chosen people" constantly violating God's commands.
Its really one of the biggest plot twists in the Bible.
People who violated basically every command God gave them end up killing Jesus(God) because they thought he was violating the commands.
Created:

@WyIted
The added rules are probably not pissing God off but some rabbi once decided that flipping a light switch is the same as starting a fire and banned it on the sabbath.
Thats what happens when God says "do not do any work", but doesnt precisely explain what "work" includes so its left to interpretation which results in flipping a light switch being a crime.
Still, I think Bible says something in a sense not to do any hard work, but that too is up to interpretation, just less.

This site did improve both my trolling and debating skills.
Thats because I am one of the rare people who understand that strong competition makes you stronger as you have to figure out a way to overcome it.
In fact, the strongest competition sets strongest challenge, which demands greatest effort to figure out how to overcome it, which in turn gives you most knowledge about overcoming obstacles.

“I know that men are won over less by the written than by the spoken word, that every great movement on this earth owes its growth to great orators and not to great writers.”
That sentence too is in chronological order.
"I know that men are won over less by the written than by the spoken word"
We start wondering if and why this part of sentence is true.
In second sentence, we get the answer.
"that every great movement on this earth owes its growth to great orators and not to great writers."
If we replaced order of these two parts, we would lose mystery of the first part being answered by second part.
