Attack means you are trying to destroy something.
Defense means you are protecting something, trying to prevent something from being destroyed.
To protect something from being destroyed, you must destroy that which attacks it.
Thus, defense involves destruction.
However, the difference between attack and full defense is in their goals and priorities.
Lets say that my goal was to protect my country, while your goal was to destroy it.
My goal is to destroy attackers only in an amount which is enough to protect my country.
Thus, if I have 100 men, I put them all in defense.
Lets say that you also have 100 men.
You only have 2 choices: Put them all in attack or put some in attack and some in defense.
Since you are afraid of counter attack and also must protect your country, you cannot put all in attack.
So I can put 100 men in defense, but you cannot put 100 men in attack. You can only attack with less than 100 men.
My men are all together, but yours are separated on attackers and defenders. Since I dont attack your country, your defenders dont fight with my men.
So the number of my defenders outnumbers number of your attackers by default, thus the numbers on the battlefield favor me.
However, it doesnt stop there. Since you are attacker, it is you who will have to travel long distance to reach my country. Thus, you will have to use more energy, and will suffer more from traps/mines, guerrilla warfare, artillery, strikes...ect.
You may say that you have element of surprise (Hitler thought the same thing).
However, the problem with surprise is that it only works on countries who have no intelligence and observation services.
And surprise only works once. The day you attack, it will be very much clear that you are the attacker, and thats about as much advantage as you will get from surprise attack.
Further, any equal trade of loses favors me, because I have more men on battlefield.
Further, as long as I keep all my men together, you have no way of attacking isolated units because there are no isolated units on my side.
If you choose to spread your units everywhere so they are harder to stop, they will also be weak everywhere and easily flanked since they will be further divided. - in words of Sun Tzu.
However, if you choose to concentrate them, but my units are also concentrated, your units will be easy to find and easy to destroy and trap since my units outnumber yours.
So your only choice would be to spread your units, divide them on groups attacking different areas so that I cannot stop all groups.
However, my men who stick together will easily destroy those smaller groups one by one as soon as they encounter them.
Basically, your only hope is that all or most of your individual groups somehow dodge my one larger group, but since you will spread them over large area, it is not possible for them to dodge anything, really. If they are spread over large area, they will be present everywhere and my one group will meet them where ever it goes, and set traps for them easily.
Since I always have number advantage, irrelevant if you have one concentrated group or many smaller groups, you are always at a disadvantage, irrelevant of if your men attack all together or in group.
And this is even without the possibility of civilian population providing additional resistance to your men.
Basically, if you are attacker and I am defender, all else being equal, your men will travel longer distance and be in lower number, thus they have no realistic way of defeating my men.
The only thing you have working for you is element of surprise, which can even work against you later since if your men can hide somehow, so can mine.

If you were to read only the Bible, Jesus's followers were peaceful, never attacked anyone or fought back, just sitting and preaching all day.
But actual historical records speak of Jesus's followers fighting violently with other religious groups.

So I was watching youtube and I run into this video which said "praying for satanist".
Now, I immediatelly thought it will be another one of those videos where Christians quote Bible and Satanists scream "Hail Satan".
But this video was different. Neither side showed any disrespect.
Basically, the Bible dude just asked the Satanist dude if he can place his hand on his shoulder and pray for him, and Satanist dude was chill about it and just said "if you want to".
Most Christians are annoying, but there are some Christians who are great to be around.

Still, the valuation of BTC in dollars is driven by the people who are playing the same stock gambling game that is played on the stock market. They are only doing it so they can gain at the expense of some 'sucker' who buys and sells at the wrong time.
Its value is determined by the market, just like with gold.
Obviously, when people buy more, price of gold increases. When they sell more, price of gold drops.
But what also plays the role is dollar.
Dollar is printed a lot, so it will drop in value compared to commodities and to bitcoin.
There is basically no way for bitcoin to collapse, because even if people reduce the amount they buy, number of printed dollars will mean same amount of bitcoin can buy more dollars.
As for apps, apps give you more bitcoin than on the regular market.
Basically, you invest 30$ over 6 months and they give you back more than that over usually 3 to 6 months.
But again, I must say, plenty of apps are scams. One must be smart about it.

Sugar costs less than 1$ per kilogram, and 10 kilograms of sugar can last whole month.
Thats 10$ for sugar.
Cooking oil has variety of prices, but even if we take the 4$ per liter, you need 3 to 4 cooking oils per month.
Thats 16 dollars, plus 10 for sugar = 26.
Milk would cost you 50$, so 76$ in total.
76$ in total for all monthly calories and some vitamins and calcium too.

So milk, oil and sugar are cheapest foods in USA if you live in area where milk is cheap.
I didnt give too much thought to protein in USA.
I guess it is much more expensive than fat or sugar generally, but milk is a cheap source of protein.
It is cheaper than powder in some areas, but general problem with milk is that unless its delivered to you, you would be wasting money going out to buy it often.
With oil and sugar, they store well. Sugar is almost eternal, and oil can last for year. So is powder.
So you save money by not going out to buy often.
But milk spoils easily, and unless you have free delivery willing to deliver smaller amounts often and at price of 1$ per liter or less, or unless you have store near you selling for 1$ or less, then you are going to have a problem.

Why try to adapt to something you may possibly never be able to fully adapt to, when you could instead attempt to stop it?
You cant stop many things in this world, but you can care less about anything.
You can also avoid pain instead of stopping it. Its an easier path.
Now, many people intentionally put themselves in painful and stressful situations, so they obviously dont think pain is to be always stopped or avoided.
But if you think pain is your enemy, you will just live in fear from it, always.
Thus, a strong mind, Tao mind can live in unity with anything, even with pain.
And the only way to have a Tao mind is to be able to reject nothing and accept everything.
I can attempt to ignore pain
You can, yet most people choose to focus on the pain as it is something to be avoided or feared.
However, in Tao, obstacle is not crushed but simply avoided in 2 ways: changing path or changing goal.
If you simply change your goal, then the pain cannot stop you.
But if your goal is to stop pain, then pain is the one who will stop you from reaching that goal.
But by simply changing the goal, or the path, one can avoid any obstacle, thus no obstacles exists.
The goal exists in mind, and if your goal is something which you cannot have, you will be disappointed.
Also, not all pain can be stopped, but it can be avoided by acting as if pain doesnt exist.
If I was driving a knife into your heart, would you stop it the second I pricked your skin?Or do you not consider me an enemy whose destruction is needed, and instead simply let me slowly kill you as you attempt to ignore the growing pain?

Tao doesnt care. Tao teaches that you must adapt to everything. Thus, if you were forced to be in pain, it is better to adapt to such situation, mentally. If you consider anything as your enemy, it will only trouble you more.
