That's why we are checking. I actually think as town you were less willing to push me than the game you were scum. Or you were hesitant. He's checking as a cross reference 

Totally understand the thought process but the question is do I buy it. 

Is a town whiteflame willing to pressure / vote the person who would go off the rail (or who you think would) knowing it would have negative consequences. So we're you finding for pressure for town sided reasons or for negative reasons.

I feel like town pushing me like that would not happen (except maybe drafter). Drafter would do this in a non ai way

Largely I'm nearly 100 percent you are town because of your frustration with the lack of activity, the way you tried to stop me from leaving because of drafter, and the proposal to prevent it. So consider me buddying you for the rest of the game

I'd say look back at how he treated me as town vs how he did as scum. Scum tend to be (in my experience) quite non committal. His entire opening post was that to a very high level. I feel like he was saying he is "willing" to vote me bit that he was leaving it open.

How I interpret that is 

"If a wagon forms , I can vote him and say it's because he will blow up later "

I am fine with being vigged it saves pie the trouble of replacing me. But I am not going to participate any further in this game. I did this because I was asked and even told pie, it would gimp town and he encouraged me that players would not be that stupid. And here it is again 

I'm being killed to shut drafter up. I want you to understand how un fun this is for me. When people ask me to play or come back and it will be fine etc. All to have the same result of drafter never letting this go

The behavior on here with the lack of activity is going to kill it. This will be my last post and no matter who asks me to play in the future , I'm refusing if drafter is in the game. The fact that he is a mod is laughable.  

It's not worth the effort to try and form reads or play the game when it results in me dying to satisfy his stupidity

To clarify I intend to try. If I'm getting endlessly death tunneled to the point it's not worth trying, then I'm going to just log back off and go to mafia scum and pie can replace me. To the extent that the idea of policy lynching me doesn't change then there is no reason to put in effort.

I think what sticks out to me about that is I've played in 2 games since this and both of them he was not willing to do that until I started moving in that direction of behaving irrationally. But the framing of that statement leaves him open to say 

"He's did it before , he will do it again"

It's like he's passively willing to agree with drafter without committing to it.

I'd lean toward town scum. And I'm probably willing to lynch between them, just bases off that with more interest towards whiteflame 

Also I entirely missed the part where white flame was willing to lynch me off past games 

Typically my fos is going to go that way when people bring that up. Because it's an easy way to have town be down a person and a easy way to justify it as scum

I'm actually more intrigued that white flame said that than drafter. 

I will say I'm typically more active but the lack of overall content and always being death tunneled makes me less inclined to care / try. But will give it a go and see what happens. The thing I like about mafia scum is that it's not technically more active but there are week long day phases so everyone can post multiple times. When you play quick fire 3 day things , it's very hard to actually develop reads and scum can just coast by. These type of games require town to actual put in effort and sometimes on here that is hard to come by. Which kind fucks me because it's the exact opposite in live. Forum mafia makes people lazy for whatever reason 

And to extend that further. It's extremely hard to even analyze wagons and intent because I'm convinced half of town doesn't even read the game so trying to gather motivation from people who are disinterested is demotivating. 

Tldr - I'll attempt to play this game and still see if I want to kms at the end of it and go from there.

I have a role. It's certainly not powerful. 

If it helps I directly told pie I would only play if I wasn't mafia or if I didn't have a major power role because I figured town would death tunnel me. 

I think drafter exists outside of this because I would like to think he's not just going to blindly do this forever. But the only frame of reference I have is the past 2 games I've played with him. Where I actually think during the endgame he brought up about being able to exploit my behavior as scum. Or at least hinted at it. 

That and Connor is probably town. Usually when he pings me like that it's because he's tilting about how inactive people are and he knows I will at least converse with him 

He would do this as scum and he's actively targeted innactives for nks to make the game better. So it's not fully ai but with the pattern of how he is pinging me and the frustration shown. I lean town with that 

Not going to lie. I totally forgot this game existed for a hot minute with mafia last night and my final fantasy stuff. 

I signed up for this because pie needed people and pinged me, if you guys want to keep policy lynching me into oblivion then have at it. Ill just play this until that happens then go back to mafia scum where there is actual content and something worth reading. 

That being said the 2 things that stick out to me the most are drafters willingness to claim right off the bat and his willingness to pressure me in hopes I'm going to tilt. 

In both games he has did this , there was a reason 

The first game he had a result so he pushed me dp2 after knowing he had something on me 

In the second game he was scum

Insofar as I have played with him, he has only did the blind push on me when he had something to confirm I'm scum or as a reason to get me to blow up to the detriment of town. 

So I ask myself what motivation does he have to immediately pressure me in hopes I'm going to be negative utility.  The idea to "get it out of the way". I don't buy. Most of the times I've acted this way have been in the early phases of games. If I get to the end and can actually play I've always been more invested. 

I just have a low tolerance for the "tunnel me" mindset in early dayphases to teach me a lesson  and when it starts happening, I geninuly don't give a fuck if town loses or if I cause it. 

So the fact he is starting with this and the fact that he was willing to do a grey parrot right off the bat is the only notable thing this dp

sorry found this gem inadvertently but top tier content. 

Connor rides my ass all the time over how I chose to play mafia. I just ignore him and keep doing my thing. I think where you lose people is drawing a line from them disagreeing with you and connect it to "I'm a woman". 

It's not about convincing people. It's that it was outside the game logic that would dominated my thinking the entire game wrong or right. 

Also a lot of the time table flipping is meant to generate a town read on me. I def do that on other sites and people that aren't familiar with it almost always town read it. Especially as scum playing off town empathy is a really good way to get by. And I have no issue calling bluffs. In hindsight the mod kill to prove a point was a step to far but I get way to emotionally invested in games. 

Id blacklist myself , no worries.
